Gave 3 stars because I really would have liked this location to be open 24 hours. As a business company claiming to be called "24 hour fitness", you cant have certain locations closing earlier; it MUST be 24 hrs. I understand that a reason may be, that the building owners in which the fitness company leases/rents from may not allow a unit to be open for 24 hrs, and if that is the case, then the fitness company should not lease/rent a unit in that particular building, should look else where; or write up in the lease/rental contract covering liability, etc. for a business that remains open 24 hrs. Membership is not cheap either (whether you buy from Costco or monthly) and if people are willing to purchase memberships, the least you can do is be open 24 hours as your company logo claims to be, otherwise change your company logo all together.

Other than the time frame, the gym itself is small, private and cozy, and I really like that. Your not overwhelmed by rows and rows of machinery like other larger 24hr locations. Has enough equipment and a dance studio to cover your fitness needs. Staff is welcoming and friendly.

I've had issues and concerns about the previous management at this gym. The new manager, Bryce, is a drastic improvement from the one before and his response time to your concerns proves he takes pride in his work. He shows genuine care for his members and is the type of character you'd want to run your business.

The first of Feburary my grandson wanted to join 24 Hour fitness. He chose the one adjacent to Montclair Plaza. We went in and Ali, a guy sat down with us and explained the packages they offered. My grandson choose a package which was about $45.00 per month, which included the ability to bring a friend. I was charged 2 months and all was fine. That is until i looked at my bank statement where i was charged $49.00 for the annual membership, after 3 months. So i called and spoke with Ali, of which he explained that he told us of the yearly membership, which he didn't. The kicker of this whole situtation was, i asked to speak to his manager, of which he put me on hold, came back and attempted to be some one other than himself, playing like he was the manager, i reconized the same voice, told him of it, and he hung up on me. If by doing that, shows hes inept and a liar, i dont know what is.
WORD OF ADVICE, STAY CLEAR OF ALi. Hes wore than a used cars salesman.

Most of the employees are great except one. Very poor customer service and also not very friendly. Outside of her, this place has everything you need to change your life 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾

Employees are great and nice. Mood is relaxed. Never crowded. I go there work out for 40 minutes. Don't talk to no one than I leave. No one bugs me.
I just get my work out in and leave. The way I like it

Upon joining, it was fully explained to me the differences in tiers when it came to amenities at the clubs. It did not come to me as a shock when this club is not open 24 hours or the over all appearance. It does have a dated look to it but not depressing. I would suggest it be a bit more lit to take away the feeling you are below ground. Equipment does show its outdated but still serves its purpose and there is a nice balance in types of equipment. Locker room is just that, but it is clean the times I have had to go and use the restroom. I give this GYM 5 stars due to 1) Location to my house 2) Friendly Staff 3) Seldom crowded 4) Ample parking in front 5) Over - all atmosphere.

Being an active location, it would be unfair to expect anything more than bare bones gym amenities, but it does feel kind of depressing in there. Has a prison gym type of feel to it! Still, it's got all the basics and never promises anything more.

By far the worst, honestly worst 24 hour fitness gyms I’ve ever been to. After five minutes I left to go to another one right down the street. Close this place and give Uber vouchers to another club for the first month. Your customers will be grateful

This is an Active club so don't expect a lot since it's below Sport level. Decent cardio equipment but place is tired. Two stars for its convenient location and hours. Extra star is for trying to keep an old club in operational. I don't think 24HF will remodel since they just opened a Super-Sport club a few miles south of here. Staff has been asking customers to upgrade.

It's an "Active" Great that they still have them around. I Really like this one. Never crowded, you can get a great workout in. X-Classes are pretty popular here. They get a lil full. Locker room is always clean. Showers are clean and work great. If you want a Sport or Super Sport, go to those. What machines are broke? What machines are old? Great lil Active to go to!

I got my vehicle broken into and my car was parked in the front of the gym. i asked them if they could show me the cameras and they said the cameras werent recording that angle. Alot of old machines in here also.

A lot of broken things, such as the water fountain bottle refill which has been broken for years. The bathrooms are always dirty as well. The only reason I go to this one is because it is close to my house.
