I don’t appreciate being bothered while I’m trying to use the ladies restroom in this particular gym in north Hollywood due to the janitor Teresa being very aggressive and impolite about her approach with having to clean the bathroom. I don’t understand why one bathroom stall is going to hurt the cleaning ladies time of day and how I’m in the way. She literally bangs on the door and using at me letting me know I need to get out because I’m in her way of cleaning mind you, this is while in full effect of me trying to handle my business and get out. I spoke to the front desk lady Jess and she was very calm and collected about the situation. This gave me a sense of relief because she handled the situation with care and did an amazing job at keeping the conversation to a minimum while still satisfying my needs. I really appreciated Jess and her warm welcoming apologies, but I definitely didn’t appreciate the old lady cleaning yelling n disturbing my peace

BEWARE!!!! I got an ear infection due to the pool being dirty.(swimmers ear) Staff claims to be "doing their job" but in reality, there is a high turn around rate, and the gym is constantly dirty. Dirty bandages and hair are all over the pool, the workout classes are also filled with dirty hair, and the mirrors look like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. I made an incident report with one of the staff members and the General Manager Jaime regarding my health concern and their favorite line she will "give you a call back". It has been over a month, in which I called multiple times and asked to speak to her and she is always in a meeting or not there. She called me about a month later stating, "she will try to compensate me in some form", it has been again a month later, and she has not done anything about the situation. I had to miss work, was not able to hear for a few days and was concern that I was going to lose my hearing due to this incident. (mind you I had never had an infection like this so severe). I have proof of all the medications I had to take and everything else that has occurred. I hope this review helps others to prevent future health issues.

She’s professional, attentive, and really made me feel taken care of. This new team in general has been good, and I’ve noticed the gym itself seems cleaner lately, which I GREATLY appreciate.

The 4 stars is because of corporate decisions, not Emma. When I originally signed up, I was told (and signed) that I would be paying $250 forever. This year, it was raised to $290, and I found out other members are still paying $250. On top of that, amenities have been reduced. After being a member here for over 10 years, it’s disappointing to see loyalty not recognized.

But Emma deserves 5 stars for how she handled everything today—she made a complicated situation much easier.

24-Hour Fitness? I think not! 24-Hour Bath house and Shelter would be more accurate.

Bear in mind I could have posted to Social Media that day but wanted to give Corporate a chance to respond. But that's not allowed, you cannot call them at all. So to Social Media I go!

On September 6th around 3 a.m. I went to the 24-Hour Fitness located at 5300 Lankershim Blvd, Suite 100 in North Hollywood, CA 91601.

I just got off work and my intentions were to shower, do a light workout, shower again and go home.

However, that did not happen. You see I arrived, and the first thing I saw as I got ready to take a shower was a homeless person in a wheelchair.

I will note that he moves the wheelchair with his legs that are perfectly fine. I thought it's strange that he was there and when I went over to shave, I saw that he was there charging five or six different devices.

You see, he wasn't working out, wasn't showering or anything else except charging his devices using a wheelchair he obviously does not need.

But I ignored it, I finished shaving, then I got in the shower. Now as I'm taking a shower, I hear someone saying "Yo, Yo and then whistling".

If you don't see the problem I'll explain. It's the showers in a men's locker room, in a gym. You don't "Yo, Yo, Yo" and then whistle.

Of course I don't respond, then I hear it again "Yo, Yo, Yo" and then more whistling. I don't respond again. But for the next 10 minutes it's repeated again and again.

Talk about creepy and wrong, and just plain rude. My thought was...this is a bath house and a Shelter! So I finished my shower quickly, dried off and got dressed and left.

I planned on calling corporate or maybe a general number but apparently you can't do that. They only know how to email, I assume it saves having to hire people to answer phones and listening to actual people. Anyway, that's what happened, I feel violated and I will NOT go to that one again. And I'm kind of upset over paying for a year membership in advance. I would like to get a refund and find another gym.

The worst. The manager Danny wouldn’t honor my platinum membership with up to two guest. Then he said I would have to pay 30 dollars for each of my guest. Then he said he can’t add them to the buddy list I had have to wait six months because I brought one person one time since I started to platinum membership. Then I said since I can’t use the platinum benefits I would like to downgrade. Then he said it would still be the same price. Then they refused to end my membership.

I was pretty patience already. The place is dilapidated and filthy all the time. The machines are archaic and broken or parts missing half the time. The place is a mess but I tolerated it. This was the last straw.

I literally today just signed up at LA fitness and the difference in atmosphere and the equipment. The locker room and cleanliness it is all top tier.

Came in for a tour and for my three free day pass. Hank was amazing. Friendly, and helped me out. I wasn’t sure what gym to choose but both Haley and Hank were so great that I’ve decided to make 24hour fitness my new gym. Can’t wait.
