This gym has the most filthy restrooms I have ever seen. Every single day you go in there they are an atrocity. At least 50% of the time there’s no toilet paper in either of the 3 men’s stalls. They have basically a homeless encampment outside where the homeless people sleep in their cars and throw trash and debris all over the parking lot every single day. No one does anything about it.

I'm there every day and know many of the staff pretty well. The crew is fantastic and they definetly do care and are always willing to help. Weekends are my favorite with Aiden and Tyler. Anyway, inspite of some of the reviews, its a really great place to go. Its not a spa, it's a gym. Its active and it can get busy at times which should tell you that your in the right place.

The worst gym in our area. Everything is Filthy. Dust everywhere, bathrooms never get checked or cleaned. Grout is moldy in the restrooms. Most of the time machines are out of service. This is by far the worst 24Hr I have ever visited.
The pool and jacuzzi are both shut down due to Health Department. Do yourself a favor drive a little further to a different location.
And Please TURN ON THE DAMN AIR-CONDITIONING.

I have a fitness pass through my health benefits that allows me to visit many different gyms and ALL the 24 hour fitnesses in the area are completely DISGUSTING. This location has been the worst I’ve ever seen. There is extensive mold and mildew all
Over the locker rooms and showers. For a month straight I haven’t seen not one time anyone clean any part of the gym. There’s usually no toilet paper, seat covers, or soap, and the smell is awful. There’s always wads of hair in the showers, empty shampoo bottles just laying on the shower floor. The benches are disgusting with visible smears of who knows what encrusted on them.

Luckily my fitness pass allows me to use other facilities like LA Fitness, planet fitness, EOS, Crunch, and many more which are much cleaner. The health department really needs to shut this place down ASAP.

Complete filth, toilets broke, feces on the walls, urine on the floors of the toilets and urinals. Machines, cables and benches broken…. Definitely the nastiest of them all and that’s really saying something. Being completely honest, I am shocked this place isn’t condemned. Black mold in the restrooms, on the floors of the gym and the staff is terrible. I paid for a year up front at another gym, will not renew and will go to EOS or another gym, don’t waste your money… because you will regret it.

One of the worst gyms I’ve ever been to. 24 Hour Fitness corporate should be ashamed to have their name on this location.

Let’s start with the basics: it’s filthy. Cleaning supplies are either empty or broken (usually both), and the staff doesn’t seem remotely interested in fixing it. The sauna? Straight-up biohazard. Looks like it barely gets cleaned.

This morning I tried to buy a bottle of water—a simple, basic task. Can’t do it. Why? Because the WiFi is down and apparently their system is so outdated that without it, you can’t buy a thing.

The only reason I’m still dragging myself in here is because it’s two minutes from my house. That’s it. And even that’s starting to feel like a bad decision. Clearly, the GM doesn’t care. Corporate doesn’t care. And it shows.

Honestly, just do the community a favor and shut this place down. Let a company that actually cares take over and build something people can feel good about using. Until then, this location is a joke. Do better man.

I’ve been a member for over 10 years, but the last 2 years the gym’s maintenance is disappointing. Multiple StairMaster machines are frequently broken, and the bathrooms are often dirty despite complaints. Management says they’re ‘working on it,’ but no improvements are visible.

This gym is absolutely disgusting. The whole pool/spa area smells like urine. The gym floor is not much better. Didn't take pics of that out of respect for the people there. The un-cleanliness of this gym is a sign of poor management, to say the least.
One of the craziest things I've seen, some guy was using the abs machine that you lay down on. He places a towel and then a garbage bag on the machine. Then he inexplicably empties a water bottle onto the bag/machine. He lays on top of the drenched bag/machine and does a bunch of crunches. Water is dripping everywhere. He gets up and is totally drenched and then pulls out another water bottle and empties it out and repeats the process.
I've seen employees walk right past him and not say a thing. You feel like you need some kind of vaccine after walking out of there. This is not an indictment on 24Hour. Other gyms are nice. But this location in particular needs help. Avoid if you can

This place is getting worse and worse. I haven't been in a while and went back yesterday. Some machines are out of order and don't look like they have been touched in some time to fix. The men's toilet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a month and the smell in there seems like it hasn't been cleaned in a year. I have used port a potties that smell better than the bathroom here. The showers look like there is black mold growing on the walls.

If you swim, this is not your gym. The pool is never pristine, cloudy at best. Currently it's closed, as happens frequently at this facility. Pump is out of order and usually takes weeks or months to fix. The mold in the pool area is terrible and all the mens showers are black with it as well.

I visited your location recently with a valid 3-day pass and was denied entry. My friend and I explained that we were interested in a membership just for shower access, and yet the manager refused to let us use the facilities. He also said my friend needed a local ID, which is not stated in the terms of the pass and makes no sense since national gyms are supposed to welcome guests from other areas.

We were treated unfairly and feel the experience was unprofessional. Please let us know if this is your gym’s actual policy or just the decision of one staff member.

If I rated this based upon last week's visit, it would have one star. And I'm wondering if anybody there really cares. I've been a member at this gym for over a year, possibly closer to 2 years. While there last week to use the treadmills, in the middle of my workout I had an urgent need to use the bathroom. One stall was in use. Two stalls were locked closed but didn't have any sign that said out of order on them (and no visible feet under them). And There was no toilet paper or seat covers in either of the open stalls. The tile floor was wet and there was trash under stalls. I went to the front desk to alert the staff member (and hopefully get some toilet paper) and had what was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

I was told "yeah, we've been getting complaints about that all day." He had reported it to someone but acted as if he personally had no capability to solve any of the problem. When I pressed and said you can't give me some toilet paper? He said oh yeah I can get that but I offered that earlier and nobody wanted to take me up on it.

He had me follow him to a supply closet and started to hand me four humongous rolls of commercial toilet paper that goes inside of dispensers and proceeded to describe how to open them to replace the toilet paper. Meanwhile, the urgency was growing and I needed to go to the bathroom.

I told him I wasn't going to take four rolls so he reduced it to two and told me that the buttons that you need to push to open the dispensers in some cases don't work and so I might need a key or some other sharp object to pop the container open. (Did he hand me something that would allow me to do that? No.)

He also went into great detail to tell about which way it needed to face and how they needed to both be facing down ... Seems to have a lot of information about installation without any empowerment to take care of the bathroom.

I asked him why he didn't come replace the toilet paper and he said he was told not to go in there under ANY circumstances. If 24 hour Fitness doesn't allow men to go into the women's room to clean up or restock, then they should have a woman on staff at all times who does go in there to take care of those things. (Also, many places use a male custodian and they just close the bathroom down for a short period of time.)

I felt like my needs were inconsequential. I was not cared about as a member at all. And there was no pride in the employee's manner.

So I went back to the women's room and proceeded to jiggle the container to see if it would open and managed to restock one stall's toilet paper so that I could use the bathroom.

This particular gym seems neglected and like it is not a priority to keep equipment up or sanitization spray filled so that you can clean the machines after you use them. Just overall a sad and disrespectful environment.

On my exit, that same employee was chatting and laughing with another employee and appeared to be doing a card trick or magic trick?

The very night that this happened, I filed a complaint on the 24 hour Fitness website and have not gotten a response from anyone. Interestingly, I did a phone message a few days later from someone who gave me his cell number asking if I was pleased with my goals or if I would like to set up a plan with someone and to give him a call. I did that and got a voicemail and left a message (without revealing that I had a complaint) and have not heard back.

When my husband and I returned (the only reason we went back is that there are hours that we work out that the YMCA is not open), I asked two different young men at the front desk for a manager and they told me to call on Monday and gave me a slip of paper with a phone number and a name (Josh) but when I called the number on Monday the people did not understand me and they said they weren't affiliated with 24-hour Fitness. I double-checked my input that it was the number that was written on my slip of paper.

Yesterday was my first day back after 6+ months of not going to this gym and it is in pretty rough shape. Even worse than before I was last there and it's always been not great. Stairmasters are nearly all broken. Their HVAC system must be broken too because it felt 80+ degrees and humid at 7am inside the gym. Their GM seems to get a lot of praise on these Google reviews, and maybe he is improving the place, but it was pretty bad from what I can tell. Hopefully the GM can get it straightened out and it can be an enjoyable place to lift in the future.

Disgusting! Extremely unhygienic. The urinal has a pungent smell and barely flushes. It has been this way for months. The male bathroom hasn’t had soap in the dispenser for at least a week. That means that numerous men have used the restroom, touched their genitalia, and after possibly coming in contact with urine and fecal matter, haven’t been able to properly wash their hands before making contact with all the machines and weights. Not what I expected when I paid for a membership at a large chain. This isn’t a small hole in the wall.

Surprised the SDC Health Department hasn’t closed this facility. The locker room, showers, and restroom areas are absolutely FILTHY. From trash on the floor, overflowing trash receptacles, clogged urinals and toilets, mildew on the shower tiles and curtains, to clogged air vents. Even fecal matter on the shower room floor!!! DISGUSTING!!! The sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi are often inoperable and closed off to members. The pool is not professionally maintained and occasionally closed because of chemical imbalances or some mechanical malfunction. HOWEVER, if you’re serious about hitting the weights, there are lots of squat racks, benches, and other equipment to help you reach your goals. In the early evenings it is so crowded. I have encountered enough young members who don’t know how to share equipment that I prefer to do my weight training at home. Upstairs there is a cycling room and a large mirrored room for yoga, Pilates, Zumba, etcétera. It’s been 16 years since I’ve worked with any of the trainers, so I can’t comment on them. The staff at the front desk seem useless as they are either busy looking at their phones or bantering among themselves. Shared parking with In-n-Out is fine during the day, but at peak hours it can get very CONGESTED. There is always trash strewn across the lot from patrons of the hamburger joint. Besides the availability of a variety of equipment, the gym is open 24 hours. With that fact, the facility attracts questionable people off the streets, a few of whom are mentally unstable and threatening. Management needs to get this facility cleaned up and redirect any unstable street people to the proper local organizations for help. Two stars for being open 24/7 and all the training equipment.

I’ve dropped in a few times at this facility recently. Some of my main issues about availability were addressed. The showers continue to be neglected as evidenced by the MILDEW in the grout lines as well as clogged air vents. A definite health concern. Overall, the gym is well stocked with weights, cardio equipment, and mirrors. For the serious workout enthusiast who doesn’t care about the wet areas, this facility is a gem. 3 1/2 stars to be fair.

Great yoga class but equipment is poor. Most of the stair stepper machines do not work and all of the treadmills are taken due to the lack of steppers available. Not time limits either. Very frustrating when you can only get here at a certain time.

This gym is disgusting. I’ve never seen anyone clean it. Half the spray bottles don’t even work for people to clean themselves. No way would I trust going into the pool, showers, sauna, or hot tub here. I always feel like I have to sanitize my body after. The mens bathroom has calcified pee stains all over the floor and in the bowls.

To top everything off, nothing has been updated in 8 years since I stopped coming here originally. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Great experience at the gym, go here all the time. Team members are very helpful as well. The GM Josh is very helpful and creates a good relationship with not only team members but gym membership holders as well. Noah is very insightful with the whole gym guiding me to a very good investment in my health with a membership that was totally worth the purchase.

To begin, the staff is fantastic. Friendly, helpful, with a great attitude. The equipment, however, is often broken, and doesn’t get fixed. Two of three leg presses are broken. Back rowing machine, broken. Leg curl, broken. It takes months for these to be fixed or replaced. I can’t imagine renewing with EOS just a bit farther away.

First off, the staff is great. Super friendly and welcoming, even to those that come in at 3am every day. However, the machines rarely get fixed and it’s only gotten worse. 8/14 stair machines are out of order, 2/3 leg presses out of order, 1/3 smith machines hasn’t worked indefinitely, along with 3-4 other machines broken for weeks, if not months. It’s completely unacceptable and pushing me more and more to start driving to EOS.

My wife and I use this location regularly. No one bothers us. Josh, the GM here, takes great care of us. Staff is friendly. We like the Olympic lifting racks and cable equipment. I like to play pick up basketball games here too for my cardio. Our go-to spot!

Be careful when you sign up Training sessions! When I paid and signed up for 4 sessions, I was offered other options, like 8 sessions, etc., which has a better deal, but I did for 4 sessions only as a start, telling them I would extend more sessions if I feel necessary. They okayed, and so signed up. Due to my physical condition (sore muscles), I only could finish 2 sessions in a month, and exactly 1 month later, my credit card was charged for 2nd month. I called them right away, and heard it was monthly subscription, but I didn't stop it. They didn't tell me about automatic monthly charge, even when I said I would decide after 4 sessions. This must be deceptive. When I stopped subscription, she send me confirmation via email, and referred me to my trainer, who spoke with his GM, and advised me his GM will review my account, and reach out to me later that day, which didn't happen. I messaged him again, he responded same.

Izzy’s Zumba class is excellent. She has a great mix of music and tempos-true to how Zumba is meant to be taught. Her cueing is excellent and she is welcoming to all that attend!!!

Zumba and any fitness program Izzy I. teaches is amazing! I love her energy, professionalism and encouragement she gives to the class. Every class you know you will feel better leaving. She is all inclusive, so anyone at any level is welcomed to have fun and just leave the worries of the world at the door when you step into her class. I have been a Gold member for going on 3 years now and I can’t thank the 24hour classes enough for their wonderful instructors. They have been the best guidance in me staying connected in my fitness. Between Zumba classes with Izzy and Billy and Body Pump with Mark and Trixie, I would have given up. Please don’t ever let them go.

Poorly run. The bathrooms are dirty, 10% of the exercise machines have out of order signs on them, the list goes on. If you visit another gym and then come here, you’ll be shocked by how dirty the place is. People point out the problems but nothing seems to change.

I’ve been going to 24 Hour Fitness for the past three years, and the experience has always been great. The staff is consistently helpful and professional. Recently, I had a few questions and spoke with the manager, Josh—he was knowledgeable, approachable, and provided exactly the information I needed. The gym is always clean and well-maintained. Oh. My. Goodness. I am in love with this place. This place is like my second home. I come here all the time. I love how all the machines are functional and useful for my growth as an athlete. Not only that, but I love the environment of the place. Everyone there is friendly and easy to get along. My whole experience here (for about a year), i’ve never seen anyone get irritated or mad at me for working out.
However, my favorite part about this place are the Coaches and Employees. One of my favorite coaches is Justin, and he is great at his job. He always strives to push me, yet keeps me safe from having any injuries or hurting any occurring ones.
My favorite employee is Noah. Where can I begin? He has been my number one from the start ever since I came to this gym. He als always been supportive and always lifted up my spirits. Every time I walk through those double doors and see the light and joy in his eyes, I can’t help but smile and be grateful of the day I have in front of me. All the “How are you doing’s” and “How’s your day going” uplifted me even when my day was an absolute mess. His smile is so contagious and helps me get through this hard life. When he showed me around the place, it was obvious that he showed great care of this place and that he was happy and proud to show off this establishment. I know he works hard day and night to keep my experience the way it is every single day without fail. I hope he sees this and realizes the impact that he has made in my life and in other people’s lives.
