This place is starting to get ridiculous. Came in tonight to see that there were no paper towels to wipe down the equipments. They had one “toilet” paper roll in place of actual paper towels! Like ok if we have to use that then make sure there’s enough. But 1?!

Went to inform the front staff and they said they were out and were trying to get some.
We came in at 8pm they could have gone to target, Safeway or anywhere they sold them to replace it.

It seems like no one cared enough in the 2.5 hours we were there.

On June 17, 2025 (2–3 PM) I came in to resolve a late fee caused by their outdated system. Instead of helping, the general manager (Asian male with tattoos) cut me off, mocked me. He was so rude! When I asked for an apology, he said there is no rule in the company that requires him to be nice to customers.

The younger associate manager stood there watching, and neither of them tried to resolve the issue. Two male managers chose to humiliate me rather than fix a problem their own system created.

I was so shocked for being as a customer with 24 for 7 years never been treated this poorly. This is completely unacceptable from someone in a management position. Customers deserve respect and real solutions def not abuse!!!

I’ve been coming to this gym for a while now, and I’m really impressed. The equipment is not too bad, well-maintained, and well set up. The facility is clean and big, with 6 squat racks. This location is GROSS and they don’t care about the members no matter if you have been with 24 for decades! I found the “Free 3-Day Pass” promotion on 24 Hour Fitness’ official website. I followed the process, filled in my personal info, and received an official confirmation email with a QR code. I went to the gym expecting to try it out, only to be told at the front desk that it was invalid and I had to pay $30 to enter!

I clearly explained that this was from their official website, but the staff insisted it’s “policy” and even said “this happens every day—people bring these free passes, but they all end up paying.”

This is blatant false advertising and misleading customers. If the pass is no longer free, why not update the website? Instead, they waste people’s time and then use “policy” as an excuse to charge extra.

For a nationwide chain, this huge inconsistency between the website and store policy completely destroys customer trust. If you’re planning to go, call ahead—or you may end up wasting your time and being asked to pay for something that was advertised as free.

I’ve been a loyal 24. Hour Fitness member for over 30 years, but had a very upsetting experience o 7/25/25 around 9:10pm at the 2323 McKee Rd. San Jose location.
I came out of the bathroom a few minutes after closing, not realizing the gym was not open 24hrs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. An employee named Daniel yelled at me in an aggressive and hostile way. He even said, “One more time I’ll close your account” which felt more like a threat than a warning.
That’s not how longtime members-or anyone-should be treated. I hope management addresses this kind of behavior.

Don’t leave reviews often, but after what happened, I definitely had to. I used to go to this location quite frequently while I was in the area, and even recommended it to friends and family. Unfortunately, it seems that new management and some of the workers here are quite rude and discriminatory. My elderly father went to this gym and had an issue with his membership being terminated one month early in the future, and his English isn’t the best. Management proceeded to call him stupid because he was struggling to understand and even when I got on the phone, said there was nothing they can do and that they won’t apologize or fix the issue. At this point, my dad was like it’s fine drop it and I’ll just go exercise, but now this manager Kelvin T and one of the workers Daniel, refused to let him enter, despite having a valid membership. They even threatened to call the cops, and said that they can do “whatever they want, it’s their location”. So my dad decided to leave and yet these guys continued to call him names and slurs as he left the facility, mocking him and laughing, cracking jokes about his accent.

24 hour fitness if this is how you treat elderly individuals and people of color, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I go to this gym when the 24 hour fitness near my house is closed for the swimming area is closed for cleaning.

As 24 Hour Fitness members, we deserve better than below:
Two complaints:

During the last 3 months, the shower in the swimming has now functioned due to a broken shower handle.
There are 2 theories:
1) Not being able to order a new replacement part.
2) This gym don't care

Because of this, most people would just go down to the swimming pool or spar without rinsing/a quick shower.

Never have soap in ALL shower stalls. NONE. NADA.

I was told the current manager was the manager at
the Eastridge 24 hour fitness location. And I did inform
him of no-soap & no-toilet paper problem twice there.
