This place is was a 1 star to me before what happened. My Locker was broken into while I was in the sauna, while making a police report someone else came up saying there stuff got stolen also, he later said he found his stuff in another locker. I later found all my stuff scattered in different lockers and my wallet was in the trash minus my 80 dollars that was in my wallet. So many people were talking to me while I was looking for my stuff saying their locker got broken into in the past also. Besides for the above this place is run down, something is always broken, the showers are discusting. People play the personal boom boxes loud and none of the staff say anything. This place attracts a lot of trashy people.

I’ve been coming to this 24 Hour Fitness since high school, and it’s always felt like my second home. The gym is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a great workout. The staff make all the difference — Miguel, Hugo, Felipe, and Jackie are always friendly, helpful, and create such a positive environment. They truly care about the members and make every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend this location!

I would like to thank Val the manager for encouraging me to sign up a membership here three years ago and making membership affordable, she even threw me buddy pass, because three years ago, I was having pre-menopausal symptoms and gained a lot of weight as well as suffered knee and hip arthritis pain. It got so bad that my orthopedic was thinking of offering hip replacement.

By joining the fun classes like Zumba and slowly working through equipment, I have lost 30 pounds. I am not out of the woods yet and know that the weight comes back very quickly if I do not work out so I am very careful to keep up my routine. The Santa Fe Springs 24 hour fitness is never too busy and they and you get access to many equipments unlike many other places.

I enjoy coming here and hope they will continue providing me the same program year upon year so that my family can join me from time to time when I need their cheering.

Staff is very friendly. It can get overcrowded but I guess everybody needs to use the gym at same time....I tried going later but I thought it was a 24hr... during the week they close at 10pm and on the weekends at 8 pm. And have to look for one that's open 24rs. Which is kinda far from me. The one on Downey is open 24rs but it's under construction till Oct 11th..... I like the gym but the hours that the ones near me I can't go. I have to drive far for now.

Overall, I would give this gym 5-stars for being consistently clean. The staff are friendly and approachable and the gym equipment is up-to-date. The location offers plenty of parking, so there is absolutely no issue in finding a place to park when going to the gym. There are also several restaurants within short walking distance from the gym, so that is helpful and convenient as well!

Miguel Guerrero is truly turning the 24 Hour Fitness in Santa Fe Springs into a standout gym again. The facility is noticeably cleaner, with clearly placed signs promoting hygiene and common sense that actually make a difference. The jacuzzi, which used to suffer from pests and poor upkeep, is now in great condition. Staff are friendly and welcoming — you’re greeted as soon as you walk in. Other 24 Hour Fitness locations could definitely take notes from the improvements happening here.

Rude manager. Whoever was manager on 7/31/2025 from 4pm-6pm was trying to force me to use the app after I refused several times.
I already paid for my membership, and I had no problem signing in with my phone number in previous years. I don’t understand why they tried to make it so difficult. He tried to lecture me for not wanting to just take a picture.
Like just let me in, why is this the something they fought me on. The entire time he wanted to argue with me could’ve been saved if they just sign me in without a fuss.

I’ve been going to this gym for over 15 years, and I’ve always enjoyed the classes and the great instructors. But lately, they’ve cut back on a lot of the classes. Now, there are only two on Saturdays.

Last week, both classes were canceled—even though the website still showed them as available. I stopped by and asked the receptionist about it. She told me there are no more classes at this gym. I asked why they haven’t taken down the schedule online to save people the trip, and all she said was, “I don’t know.”

Now this week, I checked the website again, and guess what? The classes are still listed. I’m debating whether I should go over there to check it out or just make other plans for my Saturday morning. Hmm…

Don’t sign up here! Go to Whittier or fullerton. I tried to sign up here. But the manager gave me a price that was way higher than i had previously paid. He gave me all kinds of excuses “it’s inflation” “ you’re not going to find that price anywhere” “I don’t set the prices I don’t have authority to change them, it’s corporate” he even turned the screen so I could see it and said “you tell me where to click to lower the prices and I will”.
So I drove to Whittier and the manager there gave me the exact same price I had paid the year previous. No headache no hassle just a smile and a “welcome back”

Also the Machines at this location are old, everything seems to be on its last leg, by far the dirtiest gym I’ve ever been in. And it’s tiny! This location is not it. Go somewhere else. You’ll thank me later.

I have been a member of this gym for about 8 years and have seen it change over time. Unfortunately, the facility has declined, and the cleanliness has suffered. Specifically, the showers are often unclean, lacking soap, and with hair and trash left behind.

2 stars, and ONLY because they have some machines that other locations dont have, but this has got to be the most poorly maintained gym ive ever been to. Bathrooms are always dirty, paper towels are always empty, spray bottles always messed up, machines are bothe outdated and broken, and the weights are never...and i do mean NEVER...put back where they're supposed to be. And i swear they have like 3 sets of 5 lb plates in the whole place. Im in here almost every day and im constantly searching for this weight or that weight because its either misplaced or they simply never bothered to buy it.

Some people, especially females in groups of three or four, come to the gym and start talking loudly while I’m working out. This is probably one of the better gyms I’ve been to could be a little cleaner tho and adding a hack squat and seated row machine would be cool, overall staff is super friendly there has never been a day where I don’t get greeted at the door by either Isaac, Victoria, Daymond or anyone who works up front, also the atmosphere is great it’s like a little gym community everyone knows each other and supports and pushes each other, I’ve been to many other 24s and by far this one has give me the best experience so far, could improve on minor things but new management has been doing a great job at turning the place around and fixing those issues

I’ve been coming here for more than a year and I have to say it’s never clean. You will witness the same CLUSTER OF DUSTS and HAIRS that was there weeks ago. See the same POOP RESIDUE in the toilet the next day. I'm getting tired of breathing the dusty air in the stretching room. Wish they hire a professional cleaner…. Also, the equipment at this location is way outdated. Looks about 20-30+ years old.
Other than that the staff is nice and the arrangement of the machines is well organized.

A few of my friends and I have mentioned to the manager that the gym is good, nice staff, but it's never clean. Quite frankly, it's disgusting. If I have to use the restroom, I go home mid workout because I'm so grossed out.

In the cardio area, there are always wads of paper towels on the machines and dirt piled on the foot area of ellipticals. One day I counted 8 treadmills out of service and 2 stair steppers. Ridiculous! I'm literally paying to use these machines. I understand if 1 or 2 is out, but 10 is not acceptable.

There is a stretch room that I used once, but when I got up from having my hands on the ground, my palms were covered in dirt, it looked like I was sitting in the parking lock outside. Since that room was so bad I moved onto the fitness classes room. This room is equally as bad! Clumps of hair all over the floor, mirrors never cleaned, disinfecting spray & paper towels always empty, and the mats/weights/equipment behind the mirrors are thrown anywhere and everywhere.

In addition, the weights/dumbbells/kettlebells are never in order. In fact, the dumbbells aren't even next to their pair most of the time! This is so frustrating when you're trying to just get in and out, and this slows you down because you have to wander around to find what you need.

The opening staff member arrives right at 5a with a group of people waiting to get in and workout before work. Why aren't they there 30 or even 15 minutes before to clean and prep the space?

Also, the staff members just stand behind the desk all day. If they just vacuumed/swept/disinfected/windexed mirrors for even 5 minutes every hour the place would be in such better condition!

It's such a shame because I'd love to use the pool, sauna, or steam room but I refuse because it grosses me out.

This gym in Santa Fe Springs always has equipment broken. There's probably 20 treadmills and 10 of them are broken or some don't incline. Can't wait till my contract is over, looking for a new one.

The gym area is great because they've updated the machines. The restrooms are smelly like old urine and bad odor.. The problem is the plumbing there. Something is always broken with the pipes.

IEvery time I have gone there the floors around the hot tub were very dirty. The steam room has mold growing on the walk.
It is a very dirty 24 hour fitness. The one in Cerritos is so much more cleaner.

I love playing ball 🏀 here, the staff is amazing, but whoever is in charge of cleaning the basketball court needs to be called in 2-3 times a week, the court has been dirty and slippery for the past week and a half. Injury’s may occur with the conditions it is in.

It's alright. It has the equipment I need and has a pool which is a big plus for me. I do wish it was a little cleaner though. The weights are always all over the place. I wish they would go around and put weights in their proper place routinely. I try to fix what I can but I'm not going to stop my workout to re do all the dumbbells all the time.

Been coming for 3 days now, every day was great until today, Lillie at the front desk does not know the meaning of customer service, the manager was a really cool guy, but unfortunately he was not there at 8am today, just this rude lady, today was the first day I brought my girlfriend and her first time experiencing 24 hour fitness, and sadly after this interaction she is just not comfortable coming to this location anymore, good way to ruin her view of your gym. I will be voicing my concerns in person later to upper management.

Besides the uncleanliness, broken treadmills, and lack of renovation… I have to admit the saunas may be the worst part of the whole gym. I cannot believe how gyms have still not separated saunas based off genders, it is so UNCOMFORTABLE for women to go into this area without men making comments about their body or giving unsolicited advice.
I walked into the sauna today with a friend and a man inside asked if we were mother and daughter. Everyone in the sauna started laughing….
Talk about a judgment free place to workout and focus on personal/physical growth.
I am honestly terrified of showing up to the gym where I was humiliated and made fun of in front of other gym goers by a person who was rude and disrespectful to my friend and I. This is not the first occasion where men are constantly giving unsolicited advice in the gym.

I strongly urge management and corporate to take action in matters like this and offer the opportunity for women to feel safe in an environment rather than being put down and are shamed in front of other people.

This could have been avoided if the gym was designed to have a separate sauna just for women. There needs to be a space for women to feel safe, and unfortunately you DO NOT get that at 24 hour fitness.

Personally not one to complain, but some things I would wish for is that this gym is actually open 24hrs. The website states that it’s open from 6am-8pm Sunday. {no big deal?, I showed up) But tell me why there is a handful of people waiting patiently (including myself) from 6-6:51am in the cold?? This is just a little annoying because it’s already bad enough that the pass is $30 and up but whatever please update your times so that way you don’t have a handful of us wasting our time? The only reason why I honestly come here is because it’s close to my house but whatever I’m driving the another 24hr just because they actually have their equipment updated, cleaner facilities, and correct time schedules. The staff is awesome here but times like this make me wonder if I should even come here to begin with

It’s a great gym but it gets annoying when 5 people all in the same party take 3/3 squat racks and take 2+ hours talking and not hitting the weights. They also do it with the bench. It’s clearly for bench press but they lungs on them instead of the bench’s without a bar holder

I love 24 but hate the sales team. They made me pay for an activation fee or an initiation fee as if im getting a new line at verizon. Ive been working out at 24 for 15 years, I shouldnt pay an initation fee or activation fee
