I thought this would be a small gym. They have everything I want in the gym. Plenty of equipment. And it is never over crowded. Stations and weights are available 98% of the time.
Staff and patrons are friendly too. Good vibes there.
My only gripe is the hand sanitizer is not replenished as well as the soap in the bathroom.

I've been going to this location for years since it's close to where I live. It's an old building but this spot is useful. And I recently tried the Sunnyvale Super Sport since my membership allows me to go there, but I felt that the Sunnyvale Super Sport's current maintenance condition makes this Active look new.

I've been here for two days and I'm already super impressed. Destiny and Abby are both super friendly, efficient, knowledgable, great at their jobs. They made me excited about signing up and coming in to start my workout journey. Abby helped me sign up for a free trainer workout so they can help me set some goals as well. The second time I came in they both recognized my boyfriend and I, greeted us by name, and were excited to see us, which made us feel good about coming in.

The building is busy at the times Ive come, but theres plenty of machines so I dont feel crowded. It's nice and clean. I have not yet taken one of the free classes that come with my membership but they always look lively and fun, so Im excited to try one soon. Love this place!

I had a scheduled appointment for a guest pass with a time and date and a gym code send to me by text confirming my appointment to tour the facility. When I arrived and presented my gym code as requested by my text conformation. The staff member at the front desk would not honor 24 fittness's code or text message confirming my appointment. She said that the Arques in sunnyvale location was not doing guest passes for tour's. I spent my early morning time going to the gym only to be told no gym experience for me!!!!

Got to the place at 7:30am expecting it to be open because their website said they had reopened and their hours were 5am-9pm. Arrived to discover that they were still closed. Either someone slept in or they don't seem to be consistently following their hours.

I don't know where to begin. They have 2 hand dryers. One barely works, other one works quite well. Has been like this 8 to 9 months.
For last two months, you get hot water taking a shower, then it gets Luke warm (barely) and stays that way. Sometimes it is just cold. The manager knows about it, and does ABSOLUTELY nothing about it. He sits in his office and collects a paycheck.The locker room is relatively clean. What this gym needs is a new manager, and a new maintenance man. The front desk people are polite and courteous. Bottom line-find another gym to go to.

The parking lot at this gym is a real pain, and yes the interior is dated (especially the locker room, which, as many have noted, sorely needs a remodel). But I disagree with many people who claim that this gym isn't clean. I am personally very picky when it comes to this, and I am largely dissatisfied with all gym's cleaning practices -- every single 24 hour fitness I've been to (probably over a dozen across all CA locations in my 10 yrs of membership). They are no worse than any of the others, and I feel like they are actually better, or that the place gets less traffic then some of the nearby Super-sport locations, so perhaps that is why they are cleaner.

The staff here are far and away the most professional, friendly, and courteous of ANY I've encountered at any of the 24-hr fitness locations. And I have to say I am very pleased about this and am surprised myself at how much I value this after having sour experiences from the staff/management at the Sunnyvale Super-sport location. The "standard" of service at 24-hr fitness has, in my opinion, largely degraded over the years. Many of the staff used to greet me and wish me a good night like they do at this Arquez location. Now when I go to Sunnyvale or Mountain View Super-sport, they seem largely inconvenienced by my presence, or at the very least quite apathetic. One time my gym bag got lifted at the Sunnyvale location and they made me feel like a criminal myself for looking around the club in a daze and asking the front desk guy if I could examine their "lost and found." When I came back the next day to express my concern for the service rendered, and to emphasize to the management that 'people just want to be treated like people,' the 2nd in command looked irritated and dismissive: she sort of just "shrugged" and exhibited very little emotional sensitivity or apparent active listening.

All that said, even though I have a Super-sport membership, I find myself coming here more and more often, due to the convenience of the location in proximity to my work commute, the outstanding friendliness (feeling of support from the staff), the generally new equipment (comparable to any at the Super-sport locations), and finally, the reasonable cleanliness of the facility. This gym is even better than most of the Super-sports now because it offers the same amenities! Super-sport locations all took away their free towel service around the area starting Jul-1. Even more reason to come here and pay less if you don't travel (and only work out at this location!). Thank you awesome 24 Arquez staff!!

This is a great gym equipped with everything you need for a satisfying workout. The front end staff is very welcoming, trainers like Rob and Ferdinand are very knowledgeable and down to earth. I would definitely recommend trying this spot for training.

I asked to use the weights in the Gx Room. They said its only for the classes. They have them locked up. I been to many 24 hour fitness places with my membership. This is the only one that does that. The bike room is closed. I like to use the weights from the gx-room without having to be in a class. That's why im paying$. Very dissapointed with this location.

The bad: This is by far and away the dirtiest gym I’ve ever been in. I don’t think they have ever cleaned it. It’s foul.

If you work out here, wear long sleeves and pants, Use lots of hand sanitizer and shower immediately after, but not at the gym because you’d have to shower again once you get home.

Brokaw location : Not only is there garbage all over the parking lot all the time, but the (garbage) music is so loud I cannot hear through my headphones !! The personal trainer classes are good quality - but the payment system is a total scam. Most of us are busy and cannot attend consecutive sessions. These people now forfeit your payment if you try to make up classes - and have no rational check-in system to count your actual lessons. Total fraud.

Been going here since 2011 and they have changed greatly over the years. I really like how they added the small field for you to do extra strength and conditioning excercises like tire flips, etc.

They have plenty of weight lifting equipment so you can have a proper lifting session.

I recommend going here going early in the morning, 2-4pm, and after 7pm to get a parking spot.

Not great. Parking here sucks and some guy will come out and yell at you if you park in the wrong space. Took 20 minutes to park once. There's no way all the gym spaces are being used by patrons because it's not crowded inside. They should enforce their spaces like the other lot does or figure something else out. I am new to this gym I din knew that the gym closes at 10 pm on Sunday the lady told me it’s time to close I asked her for 5 minutes and she was yelling at me and wen I told her u cannot be rude she asked me to get out and she was pushing me out of the door and wen I was asking her to be polite she called the cops... just for asking 5 minutes if you have to deal with the cops... Signed up for a guess pass just yesterday. Went in today and waved my guest pass as I went by the front desk. This guy working the front, whose name is Jimmy according to his coworker, let me through. Then he shouts for me to come back and asked for my pass. He takes a look at it and slams the pas on the counter with a nasty look saying I need to sign up through the entire process again. (Ok, whatever.) I look at the computer to sign in, but it's not even at the right window. When I showed it to him he sets it up and has the nerve to shove the screen over to me. Luckily one of the other coworkers saw that. I'm like dude- lay off the N.O. The general manager came out to try to assure me that it would be addressed but gave no specific corrective actions that would rebuild customer trust. Toward leaving for the night the same employee was still standing at the front desk, and as I walked into the parking lot he kept turning around to track me through the window and see where my car is.
AVOID this place! Plus parking is scarce.

This gym has a perfect amount of the different types of equipment. A unique feature is that they have a grass turf area where people can do tire flips, sled pull/pushes and "battle ropes". Staff is friendly, the gym isn't super packed normally and there are dedicated parking spots for gym members.

Just started to workout there. Good place, AC blasting, nice welcome smile! Machines are plenty and as long as you avoid the rush hours you get to work out in your own routine. They have trainers ( extra) that can assist with specific workouts or create one for you. There is only one paper towel dispenser and antimicrobial cleaner, so there is a chance fir one to run out just when you need it. Overall clean nice place to workout!
