No body wash on any of the showers... Floor from the locker room dirty!! I tell a member of the gym and he just listen to me but he never apologize or anything I felt like he didn't care.

OkI came back to this gym after 2 years and just to find out that the lockers and the bathrooms still nasty.. ! very disappointed. I workout @ the 24 hour fitness gyms all across USA from my Job and I'm being a member for 15 years and this gym is the most dirty by far..

When will it actually be β24 hour fitnessβ again? This is ridiculous to pay for a membership to a club that literally says itβs 24 hours in its own name yet does not abide by that! Some of us work nights and canβt get a workout in due to the false hours promised to us when we signed up. Maybe change the name to 14hr fitness or cut your prices in half for that false advertising! I have been a very active and loyal member to 24 hour fitness for almost 25 yearsβ¦ And when you opened the North Torrance club it was freeway accessible and became part of my daily routineβ¦ But then there was a time where you had trouble with some machines and the steam room kept breaking down so I started going to a different 24β¦ Then a couple years ago you hired a new technician his name might be Cisco with the beardβ¦ And the place is running so much smoother nowβ¦ Iβm amazed how he keeps everything running so smoothlyβ¦ So thank you because now North Torrance is back on my daily routineβ¦I think because of employees like him is the reason why Iβve stayed so loyal to 24 hour fitness and did not sign up with another club during the shut downβ¦

So this gymβs name is 24 hour but itβs barely open till 9. I understand that it was Covid but what about now? also what about water fountains still being shut down. I got dehydrated and almost fainted in the gym because they didnβt have water fountain working. Iβm not even talking about the equipments.

I use to workout at this location but lately I haven't because the people that goes there take over the equipment they put their belongings on 4 different machines so Noone can use them something should be done about that we all pay to use the gym so I don't see why we should be limited to use the machines besides that the staff is great it's a decent place to workout and its clean can't speak on the restrooms because I don't use it.

Visited this gym again after, and not much has changed. The gym is small enoigh to where they should be able to keep it clean, and organized, but for some reason its always disgusting. I had unloaded some photos of this gym and the amount of disrepair it had. They took it down. Seems theyre aware of how theyre lacking but refuse to actually fix themselves.

So I decided to try a 3 day trial, cause I got bored of the same running route in my neighborhood, wanted to get on a treadmill or a stair climber machine every once in a while. Dude, I walked in and got sucked into a long-winded conversation to buy their custom trainer program for like $350, and I didn't get to workout yet. I walked in and they were trying to get me to buy membership and personal training for $400 in 10 minutes. They even stood awfully close to the point I wanted to push them away, very disrespect and very predatory. Go somewhere else.

If you are afraid of COVID don't go here they don't enforce mask at all. Front desk person just watching videos at counter. 20 percent of people don't have mask at all. 24hour fitness just wants membership money they don't care about members health. I even went to front clerk mentioned some people are not wearing masks they just shrugged shoulders went back to watching video

This club has some decent old school Hammer Strength equipment. Reasonably good collection of circuit training machines. The cardio machines are adequate. The showers are pretty bad. All in all, you can get a good workout here.

MY GRIEVANCES
This gym use to have pleasant people at the front desk; however, now they have three chatty young women that are too busy talking among themselves and being rude.But, My REAL GRIEVANCE is that they block the entrance to the Zumba classes after we come in which is a FIRE HAZARD and ILLEGAL TO SAY THE LEAST!
On top of that they don't even bother to remove the stationary bike they use to block the entrance when the class is over. In fact yesterday after the class was over, a frail older lady was trying to remove the stationary bike and having some trouble. So, my question is: who is working for who here?The rude front desk young woman that placed the bike there never comes back to remove it. Is it to much to ask that she remove the bike at the end of class. Who is working for who? We pay our dues! Terrible management.

All the paper towel machines are out of if paper I told staff and they said okay 45 min later they are still empty and staff is just hanging around talking and taking pictures. Very unhappy with the service that has been provided since they opened and the staff need better training with accurate account information given. Gym is the cleanest I've ever seen it. Staff is very friendly and monitoring everything. The majority of people are cleaning before and after using machines, disinfectant and sanitizer prevalent throughout the gym. Easy to schedule a time to come in.

I purchased an iPhone case & they did not tell me no refunds. It wasnβt even five minutes before I realized it was too small. Mgr. Leilany was so unprofessional & RUDE! She was argumentative & loud demanding that I get only store credit. This gym has went down the drain in customer satisfaction. This has to be fixed. She was even willing to cancel my membership over this. WTH!!!!!!!

Hands down, the WORSTTT 24 hour fitness you can go to. I travel for work and have been all p eat the country to different 24βs and this one BYYY FARRR is the worst gym Iβve been to. Half the equipment is either broken, unaligned (making it move unnaturally) and itβs as filthy as any gym Iβve ever seen. If youβre lucky, you might even get to see the homeless people that sleep outside the jacuzzi. Straight up dump

First day it wasnt that bad as people say. Then came the second day. It was like they forgot to clean, I walked into the mens locker room and instantly saw paper all over the floor. Then came the bathroom I walked and saw the urinals completely filthy, and the stalls had toilet paper all on the floor with a bit of fecies on it. BTW the bins in the stalls were overflowing and the ponytailed guy just walked on by. Not coming to this location anymore.

Problem area is mostly just showers in mens locker room. Only 5 showers including an ADA stall but unlike most locations I've been to privacy level is nil due to tattered tarps for curtains or they or missing and only a couple of the 5 are almost decent with temp and pressure. Not very welcoming with no place for bottles just a stub in the wall for a shower head. Now granted the equipment is the most important part of a gym and some chains don't even have locker rooms but if you're working out before work or don't wanna smell bad afterwards some would also consider this important too. This is an active location so no towels pool or basketball but they do have a hot tub although with the clientele I wouldn't trust it. Cardio equipment worked and at 6 Am no wait for any machines. Overall just an ordinary basic no frills gym and car wasn't broken into which was also nice.

Good enough for my gym needs. I do wish they had more squat racks because unless I go when it's dead (like Sunday afternoon), there's no way I'm getting to use either of the squat racks because they WILL both be occupied, no question about it. I don't really NEED any other equipment or machines since I can just modify the workout if they're not available, but I feel like a squat rack is something I really do need if I want to squat heavy. Parking can be a pain at peak hours, too. But this is my home gym, and I do overall enjoy it. I don't need a fancy gym to get things done.

I am going Tuesday Zumba Gold class for 5 months, MK is such an excellent teacher,he blends in different dances to Zumba and always makes sure we are following him .
Overall, his class is good work out & so much
Fun as well.
So shock to hear that he may not teach here

Iβm an early gym-goer (3:45-4:00AM) and mostly interact with the morning/overnight staff. Theyβre generally quite friendly and have had mostly pleasant experiences. However, as has been mentioned before, some aspects of the gym are deplorable. Overcrowded at even the wee hours of the morning (think 2-3AM), sometimes broken equipment, ONLY TWO SQUAT RACKS (which, most of the time, are taken by people who use them for anything but squatting), disgusting showers and amenities. The main thing that keeps me going here is the community of morning lifters/friendly fellow gym-goers and convenient location.

Some of the staff is friendly.. Managers listen to you but don't do anything if there's a problem! Don't waste your time calling district managers they never return your call! Bathrooms and showers are filthy full of trash!! No paper towels, sauna and steam room are gross! And the jacuzzi is beyond disgusting. Some people even go diarrhea in jacuzzi. 911 had to be called because a person was freaking out after she discovered feces in the jacuzzi!!! The only good thing about this place was the Zumba instructor Laura Luna! Now she's goneπͺπͺand most of the members are nice people too!!

This place doesn't even deserve my one star. The staff there could care less if your there or not unless he's talking to girl then I get noticed. There restrooms/locker rooms are deplorable! Toilet tissue everywhere. Toilet water gross! No one cares about the weights their all over hard to get 2 that match. Everything is either broken about to be broken. Shame shame. I think we as customers deserve better than that
