UPDATE:
I normally rated this gym fairly well, but there's some very obvious issues.

First and foremost, the AC in the gym has been down for literally 3-4 MONTHS now. The inside of the gym is absolutely a sauna and a danger to the public as I've gotten dizzy multiple times, especially considering it's currently 112 outside. This is a major joke.

Until the gym fixes their AC issue, I would strongly advise you stay away.

Fix your AC, and I'll fix my review.

Original Review:

This gym is alright. This review is more to be a comparison to the closest nearby location, The Village.

Both locations have their pros and cons, but I won't go into too much about the Village's location because I wrote a separate review for this one.

This gym has mostly replaced the Village's location for me due to it's location and size, but there are some gripes I really have with this spot that are frustrating.

This gym seems larger and less busy than The Village, and the clientele seem much different. This location seems to be more oriented towards an older crowd, and is in general far less busier than The Village's location, which means it's easier for you to get your workouts in without having to wait for machines for too long.

That being said, the machines here are in far worse shape than The Village. Many of the machines are clearly old, and seem like they could just break at any moment. One specific machine I can think of is the seated leg curls. I don't use that one because it's just painful to use at this point. Additionally, many of the machine's weight numbers have simply faded off, and makes it difficult to know what weight you are actually using. You have to calculate it based on the very few that still have some remnants of numbers visible.

But my biggest gripe by far, though, which is the single most frustrating thing about this location, is that the Gym's name is just blatantly false at this location.

If you're signing up to use this location and you actually expect it to be 24 hours, don't. It's not 24 hours. They close at 9PM. If you are the type to enjoy late night workouts, this isn't the place for you. Thankfully the Village is very close by and that one IS open 24 hours.

So the tradeoff between this location and the Village is that at this location, you will have an easier time to get your workout in with less crowding, but you're working out on older equipment and lose the "24 hours" aspect of 24 hour fitness.

My first ever gym. I started over 4 years ago at 24 fallbrook and the journey ive had here so far has been amazing. From friendships to PRs some of my happiest moments have happened here, although theres leaks in the roof and the bathroom cleanliness is questionable and they go through employees like crazy this gym still has a special place in my heart and i will come here as long as i live in west hills. Maybe one day we will get blessed with a remodel like 24 at the village lol, but if you want a gym with a great community and all your basic gym amenities come to 24 fallbrook!

Elena had left me a vm with a promotion so that prompted me to stop by. I had been contemplating joining a gym again for quite a while and it was perfect timing to get Elena's voice mail. So I stopped by. I had missed Elena so Vita at front desk asked if I wanted to look around so she walked me around and talked about the gym, what's offered etc...
So I decided to go ahead and sign up.
It was great that Vita was so welcoming and pleasant, not pushy at all, signed me up helped me get the app and so on my phone, showed me class schedules etc!
I wasn't crazy about this location's pool but the fact that I can go to any other location was good. Also that their class schedule works well with my times!
Anyhow, I appreciate Vita's help, professionalism, she'd make a great sales advisor there!

This gym is well located, with mostly good equipment (except for "outdated" but best elliptical machines replaced by bikes on second floor), the cleanliness is acceptable, and most of the staff is friendly and helpful.
To improve to 5 stars, management must ensure do the following in order of importance:
1. put a large sign in pool area stating that
a. recreational swimmers must yield to those exercising or swimming laps (on gym contract but unenforced)
b. only 1 person can use a pool lane when someone is lap swimming, out of common courtesy, in order to prevent disputes and disruptions and crashes while one is swimming
2. repair two of the stairmaster machines and put a sign indicating they are not functioning (skipping)
3. retrain the two young front desk workers constantly on their phone and playing loud obnoxious music in the lobby, instead of doing their job greeting and attending to customers' needs.
4. add tissue to the bathrooms, a basic necessity

Only reason I gave “3 stars” is for the sole reason I’ve been a member at this location since 1999 when it used to be Family Fitness. I saw 24-Hr come in, rebrand and relocate. Over the years we have lost the access to the gym “24 hours” as well as “kids club”. Tho I understand the he decision came post covid, the part I cannot understand is why no cleaning crew? The gym is FILTHY!! Equipment breaks down, it never returns. The mirrors and floors are full of dust and even spider webs. The restrooms and showers are as disgusting as ever. I don’t explain myself why. Every year the fee goes up and the quality of our experience goes down. His is beyond sad. Sad I call this my “home gym”.

The ventilation is terrible, there is no air at all, only new users register, it's all a club of school kids who take 4-5 of the same device and just talk. You should think of another club and so do we. Everything is dirty and terrible. They really should close it down. There is hair everywhere under all the machines and The pool smells bad.

I’ve have been taking a Zumba class at the gym with Louisa and I can’t wait to leave my house to get to class, as her smile and warmth is so encouraging and the music so great that when I am there I forget everything thst’s on my mind except moving the best I can and having fun.
I am a senior and the classes are so good for my movement and balance and mental health.
The best!!!! I am so glad I found this gym.
