I’m leaving this review for JOSE THE TECHNICIAN! He was a life saver yesterday because I dropped my AirPod into the stair-master machine, YES INSIDE, the machine and despite what I believe was a lost cause Jose came along and insured me that it was no problem. He did his thing, dismantled the machine with grace, skill, and a professional tact that couldn’t be taught at the highest Ivy League university. Then promptly proceeded to retrieve my AirPod form inside the stair-master machine! 24 Hour Fitness in the Village may have its problems but JOSE THE TECHNICIAN is NOT one of them he is a benefit that needs to be appreciated more dare I say COMPENSATED MORE. #GiveJoseARaise because hardworking people deserve that from time to time. And Jose the technician is a hard working person.

I came to 24 Hour Fitness for the first time today. MARIELLA took me on a tour of the gym. I was really impressed with the gym. It has all the machines for a great workout with no long wait time to use them. The locker room was very clean. They have a pool and sauna. Mariella was so helpful and sweet. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about the gym and equipment and fitness. She introduced me to to Alex who was also very kind and knowledgeable. I’ve been training with Santiago for about 6 months now after being out of a regular gym routine for a couple of decades. He’s been a real life changer and is a major asset to this company. We’ve been working out with Santiago for about 6 months. We came in to the gym for the first time after years of being totally inactive. It was intimidating to say the least. We met Santiago on day one and have worked with him ever since. He graciously met us where we were and has balanced giving us grace and understanding with also pushing us to do more than we thought that we could. He has considered the health needs of my husband and the bodies with be both have and made plans that are realistic and helpful for us. With his help we have gotten so much stronger, more confident, and lost a huge amount of weight (~50lbs each). He has celebrated all the victories with us and reminds us all the time of how far we’ve come. If you are unsure, I highly recommend working with a trainer, it’s so worth it! And I seriously can’t recommend Santiago enough! Truly life changing.

Some walking biohazards treat the gym locker-room like their personal sewer.
This isn’t “beast mode.” It’s pathetic, entitled infancy. Too useless to aim, flush, or clean up after itself.

They’re the reason people quit gyms and besides muscles men should exercise courage to point out this disrespectful use of locker-rooms.

1. Aim the stream into the giant hole called a toilet.
2. Flush—twice if the protein bloat demands it.
3. Bin the trash, not the floor.
4. Wipe your mess or wallow in it at home.

They gave me a 3-day pass to visit the fitness club. But my ID showed a different address because I recently moved. They refused to let me use the trial pass just because of that, saying it’s their policy. That’s unbelievably stupid and incredibly old-school. Is this the 21st century or the 18th? Why do I have to go to a club only in the area where my ID address is? What is this, slavery or what the hell is this?

Again: they have my ID. They can easily check if I’ve already used any trial passes at other clubs or not. So what the hell is going on here? Especially considering they have a National membership option that works across the whole country.

I’m predominantly a swimmer, in terms of exercise. The rest of the facilities seem fine, but if you’re a swimmer, don’t use this pool. They don’t enforce the policy disallowing street shoes in the pool area and sauna, and the last time I swam here I was violently ill for three days. I advised the desk attendant about the two people I saw wearing street shoes in the pool area and the kid just did not care. So do yourself a favor and avoid this pool

Their jacuzzi is only “ warm” . We suggested to have the temperature increase a little bit but they said they can’t change it because it is maintained by the service guy? Unbelievable! They listen to their maintenance guy instead of loyal patrons . So either the steam room or the jacuzzi is broken. Patrons wear their sneakers in the sauna or steam rooms. Most of these guests don’t take a shower and dive into the jacuzzi or pool without rinsing/shower! So disgusting ! Poor management dirty facility ! 🤬😎🥵🥶

I had to start going out of my way to visit the Panorama City or Mission Hills 24 Hour Fitness locations because they maintain a clean, well-organized environment. Unfortunately, the Woodland Hills gym doesn’t meet these standards. On my recent visit, the ellipticals had a thick layer of dust, free weights were scattered around, creating tripping hazards, and the jacuzzi had visible algae or mold. I also reached out the 24hr WH gym via Instagram messenger with photos and videos and received no response. I hope corporate addresses these issues because I’d prefer to support my local gym rather than traveling farther.

Just re-joined and really excited about it. I love how many squat racks they have and appreciate how big the lifting area is. The bathrooms aren’t the best but I live close so I don’t really mind. I worked out consistently my entire pregnancy because coming here was so smooth and easy and there was always equipment available.

Tim was AMAZING! He got me in and out when I went in to start a new membership. No fluff, all thrills! He also helped me set up with a PT so I can develop a plan to crush my goals. Literally an awesome experience!!

They have remodeled and added a few new machines, and it's an upgrade from before, so that being said, it better than it was before. Now the Sherman Oaks 24-hour gym is really nice. I have to say they took time to line up the machines and put them where they should be..if you get a chance, check it out.
