This place is dirty. I normally attend the Anaheim Hills location but since it is closed for remodeling, I am going to this one. There is long hair in the bathroom counters, toilet paper on the floor. It’s gross!!!

The men's room is now a bit cleaner. Soap for the showers is still not available all the time for all the stalls. Sometime have to hunt for the stall that has soap. The toilet area is kinda dirty and wet in several days of the week, the drain hole has dirty water floating up and smell bad quite often.

Just when I find a modus class/trainer that motivates you to go hard during class yall decide to get rid of him😒🙄😞. Why? Keep him! People love his classes! Classes are put to a stop starting next week till who knows when. It was the only reason I came to this gym. When I first started going here the women’s locker was really disgusting 🤢. Some people just don’t know how to throw trash away. They finally got someone to do maintenance in there so it has gotten better.

I have been a member of 24 Hour Fitness for decades and have always had a good experience. Just recently I had to renew and add my 3 daughters. We go to the Yorba Linda Super Sport. It was difficult understanding my pricing options, but their manager, Guillermo, really broke things down and gave me my options. He spent time with my and my daughters and worked with me get me the plan that was right and saved me some money. He really made it a good experience and made the price right for my entire family.

This 24 Hour Fitness in Yorba Linda is absolutely disgusting. I come from LA fitness, I’m exploring different gyms so I tried this one for 3 days. The machines are covered in sweat drips that no one wipes down, and it looks like the staff never does either. The floors are filthy—there’s layers of dirt, dust, hair, and trash everywhere. I’ve even seen gum stuck to the ground. It feels unhygienic and honestly unsafe to work out here.

For a gym that charges this much, the bare minimum should be cleanliness, and this location fails miserably. I’ve been to other 24 Hour Fitness locations that actually take care of their space, but this one is by far the worst. It desperately needs a deep cleaning and better maintenance.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this 24 Hour Fitness location at 4848 Valley View Ave, Yorba Linda. The workout area and showers were extremely dirty and dusty, which made the environment unpleasant and unhygienic. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was met with a defensive and rude response. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, he told me the gym had been cleaned yesterday and that the facility is “busy,” which he used as an excuse for the condition. I would not recommend this location.

Parking at this location is always difficult. There's several restaurants, a Savers, and a park next door where little leaguers play, whose parents can't read the many signs asking them not to park in any of the spots that don't back directly up to the park. No matter how many times you complain, the gym does nothing about it. This gym is always FILTHY - it's the dirtiest 24 Hr Fitness I've ever been to and I've been going there for about a year now. Dust everywhere, including up in the rafters (maybe they haven't heard of ladders?). And there's a LOT of entitled teens and college kids that come with a group of friends and then park it at a machine for at least 20 minutes at a time. Their cleaning stations are regularly out of paper towels, and instead of spray bottles with cleaning solution in them, they have hand soap dispensers that take twice as long to use as a spray bottle. I would never come to this gym if it wasn't smack dab on my way home from work and I had any willpower to drive out of my way to another location. Front desk workers are pretty nice, so they alone deserve the one star I gave this place.

Terrible location. First of all, they allowed a majority of the plates to be stolen.....at last count I think one of the managers said they were missing over 70 plates....HOW?? It was definitely allowed to happen. They promised new machines forever and finally got a few that are such cheap quality they are already broken. Another issue at this location in particular are the broccoli hair, crocs with pj pants kids that come in groups of 4-6 and play around hogging machines v actually training seriously. Another terrible thing they've done is raise the temp on the ac so it's always sweltering in here. The managers come and go like a revolving door....the kids they hire at the front desk don't even bother to look up from their phones to see who's coming and going. The locker room is disgusting as someone else mentioned. Just throw the whole location away

The 24 hour Fitness in Yoba Linder location is going downhill with the new management. The bikes breaking down and nobody is fixing them. The trash cans are often very full even in early in the morning. Cycling classroom often very hot. We were told that AC is not turning on until the class started, it won’t cool down the room until half hour later. A class instructor has left for 2 weeks and not make effort to find a replacement nor cancel the class on the app. I have to go to other locations.

I'm updating because this gym has gone downhill. Dust and hair everywhere, machines missing knobs for adjustments, machines that have bent out of their intended range of movement, never any 45lb plates near the 6 free weight racks.

I think someone would have to come rob these old machines or get seriously hurt for the owner/manager to do maintenance. Not sure how 24 uses our membership fees but it's sad to see a gym with such little cleanliness and care for it's members and facilities.

OMAR WORST GENERAL MANAGER!

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the experience I had at this location! I visited the gym to activate a 3-day guest pass that I obtained through your website. However, the General Manager, Omar, informed me that because I had previously been a member four years ago, I was no longer eligible for the pass. While I understand if that’s your policy, the way it was communicated was completely unprofessional. Omar not only refused to honor the guest pass because I wasn’t planning on signing up for a membership that day, but he was also rude during the interaction. To make matters worse, as I walked away, I witnessed him laughing with another employee in a way that felt dismissive and disrespectful. Maybe it’s because I’m an African American man. I’m not sure. When I returned to request the contact information for corporate or his district manager email, he told me he could not provide it. Frankly, I’m not angry—just disappointed. I expected more from a brand like 24 Hour Fitness. Customer service should be consistent, respectful, and professional regardless of whether someone is a returning member, a guest, or a potential client. If this is the standard of service being offered, I would seriously reconsider ever rejoining or recommending your gyms. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.

The gym is either letting non members in or has given membership to a THIEF who lurks on the premises. My dad’s phone, id, car keys and other valuables in a gym bag were stolen in a LOCKED locker on Sunday around 10 am while swimming. Why come to exercise in a place where you can’t lock your belongings and come to just relax and focus on good health. Another guy also complained about the same thing. So this gym has someone coming here just to break into lockers? I am encouraging to quit membership unless they do better with security. A report was filed, but I doubt appropriate action will be taken.

The Modus classes offer such a great value. The trainers are there to correct your form and ensure you are motivated during the one hour classes. The only reason for 4 star review is because classes are canceled for a variety of reasons but the members are not notified through the app or email. This is very frustrating as these classes come at an additional cost not included in your membership. The Sunday mobility class still appears on the schedule and the trainer indicated that she told management months ago that she can no longer lead that class. Give the trainers the ability to cancel classes when there is no substitute available.

WARNING do not give them your credit card information. They will bill you and never let you cancel. If you do try to cancel, it will take a couple years and you have to prove everything to them or take them to small claims court.

EDIT: In response to being asked to reach out, wanted to point out this is one (but not the only one) of the reasons for my review. I had to call every day for 8 days before I could get ahold of a manager. I've also sent an email, which was clearly not fully read and had a generic response, and after replying to that email I have not heard anything back.

The fact that I have to chase at least this location down just to even try to fight for my membership to be cancelled is one of the reasons for my review. I have lost nearly $700 to this 24hourfitness.

I’ve been coming here pretty regularly since I reset my fitness journey in Oct 2025. I had been considering joining Modus and as I was checking in one day for a body pump, Nate, invited me to try his Modus class and I have been a regular ever since. Nate is honestly one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. He keeps the class going with his constant encouragement, humor, and amazing way to uplift you. He takes time to correct your form, challenges you to heavier weights even when you tell yourself that you can’t, and makes sure everyone knows they are welcome.

Having an inspiring coach and a wonderful group of strong, supportive individuals to workout with changes your workout game completely! Since joining I’ve gone down 22 lbs, lost a significant amount of body fat, signed up for 2 Deka races, ran a 5k for the first time in my life, and feel incredibly strong and confident in who I am both in and out of the gym! I have been a member of 24hr Fit since it opened. The location in Yorba Linda in my opinion is a good one, but the women's restrooms have been absolutely disgusting! The showers don't drain and they are old, dated, broken, and dirty and the toilets are the same. It looks like a 3rd world country in those bathrooms. They need to get their act together and clean up those bathrooms...hire more staff or whatever it takes. Sorry to add the pics, but these are clean restrooms compared to what they normally look like.

On 3/25/2025 @7:40pm, Guillermo M/Sale and service manager stopped me when I brought my mom in for shadowing in the Zumba class @7:40pm, the class is almost over since the time frame is from 7-8. My mom's name is already in the system and concern were signed before. I confirmed with their staff two weeks ago for my mom to have the buddy pass. And both my husband and I are the membership. He asked me for another credit card that also said other staff did not do the right things. Well, it was not my problem. It's your problem. I told him the class is almost over and I can give him the card info later on. He said no. I was louder a bit saying he needs to improve the customer service, He was very rude and intimidating me : "Do you want to be executed?" Are you serious?? I was so shocked by what I heard. I have never been treated like this in my entire life. I said I will report this to your manager or corporate. He carelessly said sure.

Our years memberships were not only appreciated but also being threated, extorted and mistreated. I need the Corporate office to hear my voice and owe me and my mom an apology.

Recently moved to Yorba Linda and joined 24-Hour Fitness.
I really like 24-Hour Fitness, equipment huge selection. The staff are all very nice and supportive. Large facility with everything you need here. Equipment, lockers, showers, pool, classes, I broke my femur in 2021. Going to this gym for about one month now and using the treadmill, stair stepper and Cybex have really made a major improvement already in my leg, knee quad strength. Improved significantly. Thank you to 24-Hour Fitness.

Today is December 28th and as usual a lot of your equipment still not working properly! I reported on August 14th 2024 Precor issues and I've talked to the front desk about seated row Fitness seat can't be moved ,it stuck for the last few months! In general this 24 hour fitness isn't kept up!

Ive been going there over a year and a member of 24 for over 30 years. This past year ive seen this club become very dirty. The locker room smells like a urinal and trash is often on floor of locker area . Toilet stalls not great either.

I’ve been a member at this location for 2 years and unfortunately, this location has been very disappointing the last year. Most of the stairmaster machines have been broken for over four months, and there’s no sign of them being fixed anytime soon. I’ve asked the front desk multiple times about when they’ll be repaired, but they never have any updates.

To make things worse, now a lot of the treadmills are also out of order. The gym is often out of paper towels for cleaning equipment, and the restrooms look like they haven't been cleaned properly in ages.

The staff doesn’t help much either. Many of the front desk employees are on their cell phones and seem annoyed when I ask for help. This gym has so much potential but is poorly managed. I wouldn’t recommend it until these issues are addressed.

This is by far the most run-down 24hour fitness. The vinyl is torn on most machines, holes in the rubber flooring, dirty bathrooms, missing wall panels, and lack of filtered water stations.

This gym is so run down nowadays. Machines are broken. Locker room/restrooms are dirty! Filthy!

The same bathroom stall has been out of order all year. The sink glass clogged with strawberries for a few weeks b4 finally cleaned up. The stalls will go without toilet paper or seat covers for days. The floors haven’t been mopped or swept in who knows how long. Seems like patrons are not respecting the facilities since the facility is not being properly managed.

The majority of the stair steppers are out of order. The benches are ripping. The leg curl machine was missing the pad. The leg pressed needs to get oiled. The squad/deadlift platforms need new rubber padding, it’s sinking in.

This gym has drastically declined. Majority of the cardio machines are out of service. Four out of fifteen step/stair machines are also out of service including the treadmills. They went from providing paper towels with cleaning sprays so that we can help maintain cleanliness on the machines we use by wiping them down but they took those away too with the exception of one bottle in the dance room. What use do paper towels do if there’s no sanitizing sprays . Where is our money going.

I have been coming to this gym for awhile since the move from being next to Chilis to now on Valley View. One thing I have noticed is the cleanliness of the gym. Under the treadmills is lots of dust and dirt that needs to be vacuumed. In addition in between the squat racks in the crevices people leave trash and bottle caps. They also need to enforce people using the sauna to wipe down before going in. You have people using the swimming pool and the jacuzzi and are leaving puddles where you sit and near the floor drain. It could become a slipping issue if someone steps wrong. It seems like people are very ignorant and don't think but to each their own sometimes.

I've been to countless 24s in my 20 years and this is by far the friendliest location I've been to. The staff is really nice and the gym is by far the cleanest 24 I've ever been to. There is a young man who is cleaning constantly in the mornings and you can tell he puts in his best efforts. My only complaint is that I wish there were more aqua classes. I also wish they would clean the sauna and steam room sometime other than 1pm. I do appreciate them using a pressure washer, I just wish they would do it over night instead.

I was here last Saturday... besides noticing that 24 has become one the dirtiest gym for the overpriced monthly payments doesn't fit what you pay for
Walked in , had to change and use the restroom before starting my workout 3 of service , 2 clogged , and one had no seat covers , the water fountains are disgusting, machines are always broken take weeks to repair , every machine covered in dust every weight plate , arm cush pads are worn out , trying to go to other location are just as dirty and with really old equipment.... officially canceled this membership! Do better 24 , go take a look at the competition you are losing to and upgrade !

Ive been coming here for over 3 months, it’s my first time getting a membership @ 24hr Honestly, the staff overall is so friendly and welcoming. I’ve never had a bad experience. Ethan helped out getting a good price for 2 referrals and other staff is just so friendly. I highly recommend this gym. It could be packed (sometimes) but clean and friendly, can’t go wrong with that!

I have been attending aqua class every Wednesday afternoon since 2 years ago . With lots of joint problems and arthritis in my both knees. Thanks to Frank my joints are getting much better & improved my movement. He is excellent instructor and take his job seriously!!! His routine and discipline makes our time more valuable and beneficial. Thanks Frank for being our favorite coach 🙏🙏🙏

I just recently joined 24 hour fitness and had left my gym which I was very content and happy with for 5 years . The main reason as to why I decided to cancel my membership was solely due to the hours of operation , it was difficult to work around and I wasn’t able to attend as much as I would have liked to . They also had no pool, sauna or jacuzzi in which I was wanting .
So I weight out the pros and cons and went with 24 fitness .
I had such a bad experience the last couple of times I came to the gym
I came around midnight after work to use the pool for lap swimming and the sauna and I was in ABSOLUTE iAWE! ! And very disappointed with the conditions of the locker room and restrooms . First of all , shame on the women who would leave such a disgusting and uncouth mess . Both times feces were visible on and around the toilets , trash everywhere, no toilet paper available, the showers and surrounding area was left with a lot of hair balls ,stuck to the floor , empty shampoo bottles left on the ground and soap scum on walls and floor . DISGUSTING and UNSANITARY NASTY NASTY NASTY NASTY !
I was So DISAPPOINTED !
The graveyard staff are not busy and they could be maintaining the upkeep of the locker . What was my maintenance fee for ?

I was very pleasantly surprised to re visit this location and see how well kept it is. I feel a bit selfish that I didn’t wanna give a great review fearing that it’ll cause people to crowd this gym, but it’s well deserved. Kudos to George who so attentively keeps the place clean. I like how spacious the location is and the number of gym equipment is here. But am very disappointed in the gym community. As a girl who works out by myself very often, sometimes I count on the community to check in on me, especially when I fail a set. I had failed a heavy squat here and no one checked in on me even though all the machines behind me and beside me were full. Multiple men not only saw but made direct eye contact with me when I turned around after getting back up. Very disappointed.

This gym has a lot of great equipment and nice layout--everything you need to get in shape. However, there's a 5G tower on the lot next to gym (and I don't want to drive past that every day if I don't have to) and the gym needs to improve on cleanliness.

Excellent place to work out. Treadmills, cycles, sauna & steam room are all great!! Anyone who complains with negative issues about this facility should get their head examined.

Something has changed about this place. In the morning the gym is dirty. At 9am the trash cans are overflowing and the bathrooms are dirty and out of seat covers and toilet paper. The spray bottles are missing and some do not work. They have reservations but do nothing to make sure people with reservations have the equipment needed for the class. It's pointless to make a reservation.

Also, in the group X room there are strobe lights that flash either white or colored for the entire time. I have a medical condition that strobe lights can cause seizures. Even without a medical condition they can cause severe anxiety. That's why movies have to have a warning if they contain scenes with strobing. The video clip is of one of 6 or 7 lights that rotate and strobe before and during a class.

It's discouraging because a gym is to improve mental and physical health but they have decided to put strobe lights in even though they have proven to worsen health. I have written to them thru their contact us feature, received an email from Jessie, sales and service manager at the club as well as talked to several employees at the desk when checking in for a class before leaving this review. In addition, I spoke with Jesse the Sales and Service Manager who said "We looked for a knob or something to turn it off but we can't find anything"

Yes, the gym is good, but when I signed up, no one warned me about the annual fee in a month, I don’t know English well, but they talked to me as an interpreter and didn’t say anything about it, and a month later they withdrew $ 49.99 when I need this money were, without a warning, I don’t feel sorry for the money, just without a warning to withdraw money, I think it’s very bad, and therefore I won’t come here again,

Jessie is the best! He has the best customer service and needs a raise. Every other 24 hour gives me issues especially over the phone, they make me want to fight. This used to be my gym before I moved to the east coast 2 years ago. I’m visiting home this weekend and thought about going back to do some workouts. Since 24hrs offers 3day pass on the website for anyone hasn’t been a member for past 6 months so I applied and got the code. Then when I arrived at the gym today the manager rejected the pass and left for lunch after hearing I used to workout here regardless their own policy. This is one of the best gyms in the area but looks like 24hrs is not clear on the policy.

This is a great gym! Equipment is clean and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. My family and I enjoy going to 24 Hour Fitness Yorba Linda especially, because of the hours this gym is open. I work long hours Monday to Thursday don’t get home till almost 7pm. Also, I feel safe no matter what time of day or night I go to this gym. Thank you 🤩👍
