The facilities are great. Overall great quality equipment. The guy at the front desk is really weird. He comes across as very abrasive and makes women uncomfortable by being overly nice by giving free entry to females/ way too friendly for comfort.

The better gym for bodybuilders, and even for weightlifting and powerlifting with its outside shed. The machines are Cybex and the plates are steel. It just has that classic bodybuilding feel. It gets overlooked because the new gym goer might be intimidated by the lack of plastic. Too bad it gets overshadowed by the commercial gym.

The gym has no contracts. $5 cash day-pass, $7 card. $30 a month.

4 stars because it is very small, and I don't think you can chalk up inside.

Happy to have found this gym while staying out here in 29 palms. You can get a day pass for $7 to try it out and then they have an affordable monthly rate. No membership or cancellation fees. I actually really like going here. The gym is smaller yet they have all the equipment you need and if you go during the day it’s pretty empty. After 5 is more packed but still plenty of space to work out. Would recommend ᵕ̈

I've been in Twentynine Palms for about 2 months now and I wouldn't recommend anywhere else. They're a small business rather than a corporation, and the customer service is impeccable. They are quite beginner friendly as well, and all the staff members are very knowledgeable in their field. Overall a great experience.

If your looking for a gym where you can actually get a work out in without the crowds of stand-by's taking up space, air, and machines, signing your life away and forced to commit to a ridiculous contracts, or the congested gyms on base this is the gym for you. It's definitely a "home" gym. Family owned gym; the owners are great, super personable, and take the time to acknowledge and interact with their customers. I will miss this place.

Decent gym to get started especially if your new to the scene. Marine Corps base has nicer gyms but for someone trying to get back into shape, the major ego atmosphere can be uncomfortable there. Here, there is no such problem.
