The best workout you could imagine in 30 minutes. From someone who works out intensively 5-6 times a week, I was rocked by how great this full body workout is. And the sense of real community and belonging goes a long way! Can’t recommend enough.

I’ve never been a treadmill person. I go into a gym and get overwhelmed with all the machinery and am never sure what to do. It also gets boring for me.
Since I started at 30min hit, I’m stronger than I ever have and appreciate all the coaches I’ve ever had here. It really does go by quickly. They really push me (Jerry 🥵) and help me get better at technique and try new things (Stephanie). Stephanie makes it so that the 30minute workout -never gets dull or too repetitive.
I love the encouragement (all, but Katie is 🏆) even when I have no desire to work out after work.
I do wish they opened an hour or even 30min earlier, so I can squeeze in a workout before work. However, it’s also forced me to get into a habit of working out in the evening and just planning better.

Great 30-minute workout! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and the atmosphere is energetic. The workout challenges and pushes you to achieve your goals. I love that the staff adjusts the workout to meet you where you are while you build strength and learn the correct technique. It’s an amazing place to get a full-body workout!

30 Minute Hit is such an amazing workout!! I used to be a competitive skier and rower and this workout is one of the only ones that makes me feel like I pushed my limits! I toned up without feeling bored and the environment is so amazing. Everyone is kind and supportive, and it’s all women inclusive. Felt so supported to reach my goals. I joined Oakland hit a few months ago because I was looking for a gym that was convenient, offered a quick full-body workout, and was also enjoyable. I’ve only been to large-scale co-ed gyms that have a ton of confusing equipment, intimidating trainers, and most times, male members who make you feel uncomfortable. The pandemic set me back two years of not being able to go to a gym, which caused weight gain and increased mental health struggles so when I found Oakland hit, I knew I NEEDED to join! It’s small, women-owned, and women members only. The trainers are super supportive (shout out to Stephanie, Sammy & Nelson) and I can squeeze in a workout quickly around my work schedule - it literally only takes 30 mins. All of these things factored into me finding myself more motivated to go workout without dragging my feet. My favorite station is the Hooks station. That’s where I find myself going HAM the most. It challenges me to focus on my stance, keep my elbows up, and try to nail my feet pivots. To anyone considering joining Oakland hit- if you’re like me and trying to come out of the pandemic not just physically stronger, but also mentally stronger while being surrounded by supportive people - this gym is for you.

This is my first gym ever. I have always felt insecure about joining a gym because I am not typically comfortable around other people when working out. At 30 minute hit, I am super comfortable. 30 minute hit has become my 2nd home. I am absolutely ecstatic to be a member, I feel like family. The trainers are all very supportive and push you towards success. I am always eager to come and HIT! I have the most fun and get in shape at the same time. Don’t hesitate to join, it is absolutely worth it and you will be addicted!

I’m disappointed with my experience with Stephanie. I was upfront about my medical condition and a possible move, which she assured me she’d accommodate.
I paid for a full month, but due to my condition, backed by a doctor’s note, I couldn’t attend further classes. I called to put my membership on hold, as advised, which Stephanie said would be for a month. I later forgot to extend the hold and was charged again, despite Stephanie knowing I had only attended one session and was on a medical break.
After explaining my situation over the phone and initially being refused a refund—even after I confirmed my plans to move—I felt compelled to mention legal action. Only then did Stephanie agree to reimburse me, which I’m now waiting to receive. Stephanie is a nice person, but this experience has certainly impacted the high regard I once held for her and her brand.

Love this workout!! I’m 65 years old and was not in great cardio condition— although I do dance and lift weights regularly. The staff is so friendly and makes women feel comfortable starting this workout from wherever they are physically. My stamina is so much better and I feel so empowered with all the punching and kicking! Plus, the instruction is very good, they watch you every workout and are there to both cheer you on with encouraging words and to help with proper technique. It only takes 30 minutes and I’m sweaty and feel accomplished every time:)

I started going to 30min HIT just last year to add something challenging to my current workout routine. I had been doing workouts on my Peloton since Covid and I just needed interaction again with a trainer/couch/other members. This ended up being what I really needed. A quick and to the point workout that leaves you sweaty and satisfied when leaving.. it gets the job done. I also love that there are modifications for every physical level. When certain moves started feeling easy to me I was able to level-up to a more advanced motification. 30min HIT not only elevated my workout routines and gave me more of a challenge but I found such an amazing and uplifting female community in this gym. Stephanie has hands-down been so amazing. She challenges her members and goes out of her way to make genuine connections with all the women who come in it seems. The other trainers on her team I've had all positive experiences with - warm and friendly vibes with whole-hearted inclusivity here. I love this place.

Stephanie is a great trainer! She pushes you to reach, but not to overdo it. She corrects positioning, listens, encourages, roots, raves and inspires you to give it your all, especially at the last station. The Oakland location is new, clean, and loads of free parking. What is not to LOVE here!?! Try 30 minute Hit. It's my mental health vacation from life every time I go in there. The BEST decision I made in 2023 was to join Stephanie's 30 Minute Hit!

I love this place! It was always intimidating to go self-defense gyms as a female who had zero strength. Ngl, I walked away from some jujitsu gyms watching full of muscular males working out through the window. Yet 30 minute hit is a very welcoming female only kickboxing gym you can learn about basics and more from instructors who guide you while 30 minute cycle of each workout station. I started hitting this place since I am a Cal student and it just takes 15-20 minutes from downtown berkeley bart (to lake meritt). You will see changes within 2 months of regular workout (at least it works for me that long as a person who doesn’t work out at all except an hourly yoga per week). I love to see my very welcoming coaches there and that is the other reason I am going there even on Saturday. With their help my punch sounds different now and I am excited to see what will happen if I keep on going! Highly highly recommended 😸

30 Minutes Hit is an amazing and intense workout designed for the busy professional woman. Very efficient and packs in a lot in 30 minutes e.g. Cardio, boxing, kickboxing, strength/core stability, self defense and more. I love that I don’t need to sign up ahead of time, I can just show up anytime during operating hours and get my workout done with the guidance of a personal trainer. I leave each time feeling energized and rejuvenated.
This studio gets extra points for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Also, the staff and owner are very supportive. Glad I found 30 Minutes Hit. I highly recommend.

Very inviting and supportive! Best workout I’ve had for only 30 minutes!! This workout is challenging but attainable for someone just starting out. And it’s fun, most of the time I am surprised the 30 minutes is up while also feeling like I worked out for over an hour! I look forward to continuing to work toward my fitness goal here.

The thing I love the most for 30 minutes hit is that it is 30 minutes!
When going to a traditional gym I usually run around and try to use all the tools, but still feels a little shame when walking out of it, looking at people sweating on machines feels like maybe I should workout more. I know I have issues keep comparing myself with others but just can’t help it.
But not here, I go in, I sweat, I feel better and knowing I complete something, and I love completing things.
I’ve only started 1.5 weeks ago, the soreness on my body went away after the first week, feel stronger already :p

I was spending most of my time working out at home and lifting weights. I noticed I started to reach a plateau and was having a hard time changing up my routine. I tried out a free trial at 30 minute Hit and fell in love! It's fun, a great workout, and motivates me to get a workout in more often. Stephanie (owner) and her team of trainers are wonderful! Trainers offer great insight on the body mechanics for kickboxing while providing modifications to prescribed exercises if needed. The welcoming environment plus a kickbutt workout makes this place a must try for anyone who's been thinking about kickboxing.

Been coming here for a couple months now and have been very happy with the workout and the vibe so far. Upper body workouts have always been a struggle for me, but the trainers do a great job of showing you the ropes in your first visit and then offering tips to improve form as you progress. I also love that you can come in and join the workout at any time so you get the structure of a workout class without having to rush out to make it on time. I always leave feeling exhausted, but with that nice endorphin feeling you get after exercising. Would definitely recommend for any women looking for a welcoming place to work out.
