Gym sucks, no need to reply. The gym is now charging 50 dollars a month for them to slowly take away the mat room, sauna, and some other machines. The staff looks gangster full of tattoos screaming all over the facility like savages. Paper dispenser machine is always blinking orange and never has any paper towels. The gym is tiny and they are making it smaller by adding another unnecessary weight room as if Ronnie Coleman and Kevin levrone are working out here everyday. Machines are taken over by 40 yr old men flirting with 20 yr old women. This gym is just a mess.

I moved to El Centro a couple years ago and it's been mind-blowing. This definitely isn't the big city life I had before. One of the things I noticed right away was the lack of decent gyms, fitness centers, healthy foods, not to mention better grocery stores. I had joined another gym in El Centro. It was basically a rusty relic from the 80s. I began to check out other gyms online. I found this gym. I was surprised at the cleanliness and the overall operation. There's some roaming personalities in there but it wouldn't be a gym without that 😂. There is plenty of parking and you actually get a free massage from the junk road leading up to the gym lot. I pay an extra 10 for a locker and that works out for me. I have had no issues with billing and I have no negatives to report. Basically it's a fully stocked, clean gym and something this city needed big time.

Because of my job, I get to travel all over the world and visit many different gyms. I currently live in Maui Hawaii, but I was born and raised here and El Centro. I come back many times to visit and this gym rates in the top five in my book of gyms throughout the world. Whoever owns this gym knows what they’re doing. My first love was bodybuilding and when I got into my late 50s, I stopped competing and went into powerlifting. These are my credentials for knowing what a gym should be and how it should be put together. I am 65 years old now and have been training since I was 17. I have never stopped and always continue lifting. Congratulations to us from El Centro to possess one of the premier gyms in the world. Thank you owners of “4:13” for this wonderful gym for those of us who value our wellbeing and fitness through pushing the iron around.

I don't recommend that staff looks like gangster, all tattoos, just listening to music ,on cell phones. The other staff are sitting on the desk . Floor all dirty with paper towels, as I have picked up the trash myself. The health department should go, inspection. They have the signs of cleaning the machine/ equipment. I notice all members don't clean after themselves? Staff is getting paid for not forcing the rules . Lack of laziness of the staff don't know what they are doing ?Soon or later, that 413 gym will end up closing. I don't recommend that gym . It's one of the worst gyms ever .All the owner of the gym cares is money ?

New manager has shown a strong commitment to improve operations and customer service.

I would caution anyone to sign up for 4:13, under the current management. She has changed many of the gyms terms of contract and is charging members $100 to cancel, although the contract terms have changed. I would encourage people to avoid any dealings with 413, until they have a new manager who reflects the values of 4:13.

In the meantime, it is cheaper to buy your own gym membership that is available 24 hours and without any unnecessary contract fees. I also want to give a shout-out to the owner who knows about this and refused to call me back or answer my emails. For those of you who are still under contract, please review it and ensure that you are not being scammed.

It Is not what it used to be. I used to love this Gym at their first location. They used to have clases included with the subscription. Now they charge you extra for the different classes they have. Well as of May 1,2024 it will not be 24hr. They gave one week notice to modify the hours. During day hours the place is so busy making it difficult to get a good workout. Even after 11pm the gym has a good crowd working out. During summer heat it was nice to have a gym with 24 hr access to avoid the crowds and heat of the day. Should have kept the imperial 413 open and close the other two locations. Time to move to another place to workout.

Excellent gym. Variety of equipment available. Pictures available in google don’t do justice to this place. High ceiling and well ventilated. Huge space. 24/7 365 days access for members with key fob readers. Guest Day or Week pass available for $20/$40 fee respectively. Well kept restroom showers and lockers. 33-35 TV screens across the facility placed strategically to workout while keeping track of your fave sporting events. You can see everyone is serious about their training here. I was visiting El Centro for Thanksgiving and got a week pass. I loved the atmosphere of the gym. Everyone was very focused. No judgement. Great friendly staff. Smoothie and food bar. Other features and services I did not use. All in all amazing facility. I wish I had this gym in LA.

Update: I went back in January 2024 to El Centro for another week and paid for a week pass. I am absolutely in love with this gym. I don’t think I’ll be able to find a better gym comparable to this one for what it costs to work out here. The high ceilings just make it so much more enjoyable to exercise as well. One thing to improve is that they need an iso-lateral decline bench press machine for lower pecs. The only option for lower chest workout is a decline bench that is very hard to use, chest dips, or cable crossovers.

I've played sports and been into fitness all of my life. Even as a professional in my mid 30's, I lift, do cardio, and still play sports recreationally. I was in El Centro for 5 months for a work assignment and became a member of 4:13. This gym is clean, has modern equipment, friendly staff, and is not overcrowded. I tried out a number of other gyms in the Valley and they did not compare. If you are looking for a no BS gym, I strongly recommend 4:13.

Took my son here to get his body fat measured for his enlistment. The owner/trainer was very knowledgeable and great. Afterwards he took us on a tour of the gym and this is not your fancy type of gym giving you pizza and bagel's. It's true to the grind and yet really clean and organized. Has that old school vibe to it with modern equipment and lots of free weights. People around had smiles in there face while putting in work. No intimidation what so ever. Great place to workout.

I've been a member of the gym for 2 years now, and I have yet to find one thing I don't like. The membership comes at a reasonable price considering the equipment/classes you have access to, and it is extremely flexible such as being able to pause payments on your membership if you get too busy to come in one month. Honestly, a great gym. I travel a lot due to my job making me try a new gym at least every month. There is an awesome atmosphere and the best part of it all is that there is no ego lifting.
