Personal focus & well balanced.
I had a private yoga session with Nick, and it was a great experience.
He took the time to understand my specific situation (knee and lower
back issues) and tailored the entire session around my needs.
Nick shared practical tips I can use every day and showed me several
variations for each exercise, so I always had options that felt
comfortable. I left the session feeling motivated and highly recommend
him if you’re looking for personalized yoga guidance!

I highly recommend 5 Element Fitness!
I suffer from lower back pain and have been trying to get back into yoga but struggle with some poses and was worried I would end up hurting myself.
I had a fantastic individual consultation with Nick at 5 element fitness recently. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to really understand my specific issues. The advice he gave me regarding adjustments to my posture and movements was clear, easy to implement, and very helpful. I truly appreciated his personalized approach and left with actionable steps I can take. If you're looking for a personal trainer who pays attention to your individual needs, especially concerning physical limitations, look no further!

5 Element Fitness is the best way in the Vista, Oceanside area, to have the personal insight and training of Nick. He helps teach the proper method of exercise, yoga, and fitness to not get injured, and to get the best results. He has years of experience and training, and is polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He is only there to help. My degenerative spine was so bad that I was barely able to walk more than 15 minutes. At this point, I feel like it is improved 90 to 95%. Also shoulders and other parts. And without the proper training, sometimes exercise exercises or stretching can do more harm than good. Highly recommended.

I am over the moon to have found Nick! I’ve been searching for a personal trainer for a long time, but none have been able to truly meet me where I’m at.

I have Ehlers-Danlos and POTS, which have made strength training a challenge, but Nick completely customized my training to my specific needs. He demystified so much about what was going on in my body, and for the first time, I feel genuinely encouraged that I can build the strength I’ve been wanting. His knowledge, patience, and ability to break things down in an understandable way are truly unmatched.

If you’re looking for a trainer who truly listens, understands, and tailors the experience to your body’s needs, I cannot recommend Nick enough!

Nick is amazing at what he does. I have a knee injury and have been struggling with working out in any kind of way due to this. He was able to teach me ways that can help me get better in shape without putting any strain on my knee. He was also able to teach me some strength training to help me with strengthening my body to hopefully prevent injuries from happening so easily in the future. I definitely highly recommend him for any physical needs you have as he's very knowledgeable, patient, and good at what he does.

I have been going to yoga classes on and off for years. In each of those classes there usually are 15 to 20 students, one class would regularly have at least 50 students. A few months ago I happened to take a class at a gym with Nick. I found it great but challenging. Then I injured my wrist in a Body Pump class which for sure impacted my form in yoga class. Nick noticed I was struggling and explained how he could help. To receive individual attention was quite new and helpful. I went to his studio for an introductory session and I think I learned more in that one hour than I have in all the years I have been doing yoga. To have Nick explain proper form and correct my mispositioning of hands or feet etc etc while doing a basic yoga move was extremely beneficial. I strongly recommend taking Nick's classes whenever and wherever he is teaching

I had the pleasure of receiving assistance from Nick at a pivotal moment in my acroyoga journey. His intuitive approach and deep understanding of the body truly stand out. When I was dealing with a challenging neck and shoulder injury, Nick provided the perfect blend of supportive stretching and mindful guidance. His ability to tune into exactly what my body needed, both physically and energetically, was remarkable. I left each session feeling not only more aligned and mobile but also deeply centered. If you’re looking for someone with a holistic, healing touch who can genuinely help you progress, Nick is the person to connect with. I highly recommend his services.

Nick is a very professional and knowledgeable personal trainer. Deep knowledge of musculoskeletal system functioning. Each client’s program is tailored to their specific needs and situation. Whether it is yoga, power-lifting, Pilates-style movement, asian martial arts exercises or even acrobatic activities these are seamlessly integrated to improve whole body function. The incorporation of flexibility, dynamic stability, strength and endurance provide a solid health foundation in which to perform well in most physical activities. I personally enjoy golfing, hockey and skiing. Each sport comes with its own challenges and Nick has great insight into preparing a program that emphasizes performance with the goal of minimizing injury. This is accomplished by understanding how to specifically strengthen critical muscle groups and intelligently perform movements with less strain on ligaments, tendons and joints. I personally recommend Nick whether you are a high performance athlete needing highly focused sport-specific training or an aging boomer (like me) looking to maintain reasonable physical fitness to enjoy outdoor activities with friends.

If you're looking for someone to get you motivated Nick is your man. He is high energy and tons of fun. He has the ability to keep me entertained and focused, even with my ADHD. I started training with him with no expeience and now I have the confidence to say I'm an intermediate acro yogi. I feel comfortable and safe when working with Nick because he walks you through all the steps and works at the pace you set with him. He pushes you to go harder, but is extremely respectful of boundaries. He is good at tuning into you /your needs and understanding when you're at your limit for a certain pose or exercise. He works really hard to gain your respect and trust, he doesn't just expect it from the get go like some trainers do. His patience is through the roof, haha you have to be a saint to be able to work with me and my moodiness. Sometimes I'm tired or cranky and he understands and sees it right away. He adjusts his plans for training when it's the best course of action and I really appreciate and benefit from his forgiving and interactive style. Nobody wants to be judged for being tired or cranky right? Nick understands and he will work with you, even at your crankiest, haha.

Nick is great to work with. My husband and I have been working with him for just over two years now and we are glad that we decided to add workouts with Nick into our weekly routine. Nick has a positive attitude and is very easy to work with. He gives lots of feedback and we would certainly recommend others to try him out.
