Coach Paul and his team of coaches at a better you fitness are phenomenal! Coach Paul is dedicated to helping people achieve their fitness goals and he has a unique passion that I absolutely admire in a fitness professional. I’ve done a challenge of his and if I were local I would be attending his in person HIIT classes on the daily. I had the honor of attending one of his classes with Coach Rosie because I was in town for a concert and it kicked my butt I loooooooved it! Definitely recommend if you are local or passing through the Oakland/ Howard area to go check out and join A Better You Fitness!

When I first came to A Better You Fitness, I was extremely insecure about my capabilities in working out. I can remember the very first day arriving to the gym and how warmly I was greeted by everyone there. I was also very hesitant to start, but coach Paul never gave up on me. The people there are extremely warm and encouraging. The coaches are very helpful and will make adjustments that you might need to ensure you are your best. I cannot think Coach Paul enough and the other two wonderful coaches For convincing me that I am strong enough, I am worthy enough to learn how to take care of my health. If you are considering joining. I would run to sign up, not walk. This will be the best experience of your life.

As a 70-year-old woman I am happy to say they help me have self-confidence and believe in myself and getting these exercises and getting a workout in that I never thought I could do. I was afraid to do a lot of of the things that they were teaching me and now I can say I have actually conquered everything but a pull-up but then again I couldn’t do a pull-up in high school so I don’t expect it at 70 years old that I can but I tried , I am Proud to say I am doing everything else that they have asking of me. I really haven’t lost the weight because I am gaining muscle. I am feeling so much better. I am two sizes down in pants for a 5 foot eight woman I could wear a size 10, which is great for me. The coaches have been very hands-on and work with you. They push you but in a good way cause they don’t expect you to do anything that they wouldn’t do and even then some if I do five, they do 25 The gym itself is clean, and the three coaches are over the top amazing and really are invested in you being a better person healthwise, physically mentally and eating great I can’t wait to continue on my journey with them. I wish I had more 70-year-old in the class so if you’re 70 and you’re reading this, I challenge you to come and join me man or a woman

I am becoming the Best version of myself at A Better You Fitness! Coach Paul, Moses, and all of the trainers are very supportive and helpful in teaching the exercises and meal plans. The gym is very clean and family friendly with a place for kids to hang out during the workouts. All fitness levels are supported during every workout with instruction and encouragement from the trainers. The members along with the staff feel like a big family! Coach Paul is amazing. I used to never miss his class at OTF and once I saw that he opened his own fitness coaching , I decided to take his help to train for my first full marathon. He helped me to dial in my nutrition, have the appropriate workouts and made sure I ran the full marathon injury free. I worked with Paul for 2 years and credit him for helping me change my whole mindset about fitness. Yes, most any trainer can teach you good exercise technique and work with you for X hours a week but an excellent trainer helps you address the mental blocks that have been keeping you from your goals for years. I’m a 43 single mother of 2 with a full time job and a household to run. I thought I had no time and that I was too old for great results. Not true! Before meeting Coach Paul I hit a plateau in my fitness journey. I realized I needed guidance to get the results I wanted. First my goal was to just tone and build muscle.
