I am a Lake Tahoe local who was born and raised here. I have been going to this gym for a few years (as it is one of the only ones in Tahoe City) and giving them my support. The owner has been heavily harassing clients (including myself). Today he came up to me in the middle of my workout, after I had just gotten there, and began aggresively screaming at me for not picking up SOMEONE ELSE's weights. I had multiple people come up to me after saying that he had behaved the same towards them.
This went way beyond un-professional and was actually pretty horrifying behavior that I guess happens regularly.

Today I arrived at the gym at 5:30 because they are supposed to open at that time and it is 6:12 and there will still be no one

Best gym in Tahoe City area and west shore. Has all the machines you can ask for. Clean, helpful staff, and nice showers. Highlights are lakeview while running on the treadmill and the coed sauna.

One star is too much for this place, the owner and her son are super racist and they treat people badly, I am never coming back to this place. Donβt recommend!!!

I currently work in north lake tahoe and my work is beginning to get slow so I want to find a decent gym to spend some down time so I begin the hunt and all the gyms up here are just super expensive or super small the only big gym is in incline which us really cool but wa t 70$ a month I found this sante gym that's perfect that decent size it's not huge but has plenty of equipment nice lockers a shower plus a sauna that I really enjoy for 59$ a month well worth it

$115 for a month. You must be paying for the lake view, because the gym and equipment are not worth that price. It's not an inspiring place either. The gym in Incline Village is much bigger, much better (IMO), and is much cheaper with all their membership options.

Charges 23$ for a day pass. Absolutely ridiculous . No one is going to be in there all day long. An hour to 2 hours at most like really? They donβt even have everything you need to workout every part of your body . Horrible gym do not recommend .

This fitness space has an instructor by the name of Sarah Hannala, who has been seen being very unprofessional and harassing the people and animal life on her trip to Hawaii.
There is evidence that shows Sarah telling someone to kill themselves after an island native informed her that being close to and touching the sea turtles is harmful to them. She also got the personsβ home address to threaten them even further; rather than take accountability, reflect on what she did wrong and genuinely apologize.
Honestly I would expect more respect, compassion, and professionalism from any yogi, while at home or on vacation..
I have to wonder, is this how this company wants to be seen? I would hope not. Suicide is not something to take lightly, nor is getting someoneβs address and telling them to βstay safeβ.
I hope they end her time at this establishment. I am from the Bay Area, and frequent Tahoe often. Sadly I will do all i can to ensure the safety of others by letting them know that your yoga space is not safe or a sanctuary while housing a very toxic and harmful yogi instructor.
Also very poor and very unprofessional communications received from your social media representative.

Great options here from Nautilus to free weights. Also used by physical therapist appointments. So ability ranges from Beginner to college male. Dry sauna and showers also. It's behind the Safeway. Guest for members is only $16 per day. No AC so go early..

Great little gym that's usually busy but rarely crowded. Lots of weight circuit machines and free weights. An okay number of treadmills. I've only had to wait for a cardio machine once or twice and not for very long. This gym is located behind the Safeway and there's adequate parking right outside. The gym overlooks Lake Tahoe and the view is amazing, especially on winter mornings when the sky is cloudy and the sun is just coming up. I'm grateful for this Tahoe City gem.
