I feel so blessed that Abilities Recovery Center is located nearby given the fact that clients travel from all over the world to train there. The staff is fantastic and the gait training device that Jeff invented (The Mas) is second to none. Highly recommended!!!!!

A very special paralysis recovery center. The center has a family vibe where it is clear that the staff and owner really care about their clients achieving their recovery goals. We have tried MANY treatment facilities in the area (California Rehab Center, Northridge Hospital) and Abilities is by far the best option for gait training.

If it weren’t for this outstanding and ground breaking Center and Jeff, I believe I would not have been able to walk again. I had an injury, not SCI but was wheelchair bound and unable to weight bear for nearly 2 years when I first walked into ARC. Before then; I saw so many physical therapists and traveled to see various surgeons. Nobody was able to help me like Jeff did, he pushed me beyond any point I thought I could reach and to this day I am forever grateful to his belief in me, his approach to strengthening my body and allowing me to get fully out of a wheelchair. Whilst I was training at the Center I saw many whom were given hope they had not had in years, the work they do is truly inspirational, innovative and profoundly life changing.

We went there for the first time today for an appointment my husband had. We were greeted by a kind man and his lovely friendly dog. Jeff was the person who greeted us, and just on his first visit, my husband learned alot with his help. This place seems Amazing already. We are looking forward to my husband's future visits. Without a Doubt I know he will fully benefit from this center, and will accomplish his goals. He also looks forward to meeting and working with the rest of the staff.

ARC is an outstanding therapy facility that is wheelchair accessible & friendly. They have accessible state of the art equipment you won't find anywhere else. The sessions are intense and positive... you're going to "feel" it and break a sweat!

The trainers & staff are friendly and professional. They have on & off street and accessible parking. Not far off the I-10/Santa Monica freeway. People were there from as far away as Santa Barbara, Santa Clarita, the South Bay and the Inland Empire.

My son has been a client of ARC, he sustained a c5 fracture eight years ago, was told he'd never stand, walk or be independent. SInce being at ARC he continues to reach milestones and achieve his goals, he is standing, taking steps with a walker, and continuing to make strides in his recovery, overall he is physically and mentally stronger than ever and has gained tons of independence. Jeff and the ARC crew have made this happen, they're truly are the best!
