Dina really keeps me on my toes and on track to reach my goals. My #1 goal is to never be a "little old lady", no matter what my age. The sessions are just the right length of time and I am already feeling stronger, more flexible and more fit.

I started training at Active Age Fitness a few months before Covid 19 hit us all. A friend introduced me to the classes. At first I was very out of shape and never saw myself as one who would actually work out or go to a gym. Soon I saw improvement in my flexibility and mobility and began to enjoy the classes. During the lockdown we all switched to online training and with all the free time and encouragement from Dina the owner, I began to seriously work on my nutrition as well. Fast forward 4 years and I am now stronger, healthier, much happier and 45 pounds lighter. My blood pressure and cholesterol are normal and I am able to walk the golf course 4 times a week with ease. The key for me was the small classes and individual care Dina gives each member. She pays close attention to insure we use our muscles correctly avoiding injury. I feel compelled to share my experience because it has been so enjoyable and successful for me. I think the owner/ instructor Dina is the perfect blend of encouragement and fun with an excellent knowledge base and ability/ patience to push us forward. I hope others will give Active Age Fitness a try!

Still to early to give 5 stars. I have been with the program for about three months and feel the training has been a positive experience. I have improved my core strength and am making progress on my flexibility.

I've been training with Dina for years now. It's been great for me. I know my strength and balance is far better than it would be had I continued to just walk for exercise. Within a small group, Dina can modify exercises from person to person depending on ability. I've watch plenty of her clients transform and become much stronger, healthier people. Dina is always educating herself to bring new concepts to us too. Routines change often enough to not become boring.

What I appreciate most about Active Age Fitness is that, even though I am participating in small group exercise sessions, I am still receiving personalized care that ensures I am getting the most out of the session and minimizing the potential for injury through proper form and attentive instruction.

[Update 2022: Dina agreed he was a keeper [See original below and the reply] then fired him as she had several trainers before. She does not work well with others unless they are paying clients. I love this program, but would prefer a trainer other than Dina.]
Some trainer turnover here but program content is solid. Hope new trainer Eric Jennings, mature, skilled, former pro athlete stays on. He not only works hard to adhere to program in addressing client needs but always provides clear instruction and positive support. Definitely a keeper!

I have been training with Dina since November 2014. I am probably in the best shape that I have ever been in EVER. I feel so much better physically and mentally. I love the small group format and I love the fact that the training is based on body weight exercises instead of using weight machines.

When I started training with Dina, I did not have a specific goal in mind other than to get in better shape so that I could continue to do the activities I love as I grow older. I want to be active as I age. I had noticed my metabolism changing once I hit 50. Over the past year, my metabolism has definitely increased. I did not have a specific weight loss goal. My attitude was only to focus on getting more fit. Whatever happened along with that would be icing on the cake.

The first year I trained 2x per week and am now training 3x per week. My goal now is to continue to improve my strength, stability and flexibility. Dina is very good at helping each client to achieve their individual goals.

In February 2015, i wrote this review for LCF: "When I started the group training with Dina, I had given up ever being able to run again. At 47 years old, I figured I would only be able to prevent wear and tear injuries as I age. Less than 3 months and with only half-hour sessions of non-brutal training, I'm fitter, stronger, in a much better mood, and have much more stamina. And more importantly, I am sure I can even run again eventually. Dina is a passionate and dedicated trainer who has reminded me being fit and healthy doesn't have to be dreaded."

Now In July 2015, I'm 48 and I have started running again, maybe not as long as I used to, but I'm certainly working my way back to it thanks to Dina.

Update: February 2016, To do justice, I need to add to my previous comments. Two of the "other" reasons that I have been sticking with Active Age Fitness are: first: how the very small groups allows Dina to personalize the training for each person, and second and as important: The ease of scheduling. As family, work, health issues might come up it's easy to get out of a routine and stop all together. But Dina has made it easy to come up with alternative scheduling and keeping up the fitness routine.
