We’ve been part of this amazing karate school for over five years now. What started as a way for my oldest son to learn self-defense has become a family journey filled with growth, discipline, and passion for martial arts.
The instructor, Mr. B, is not only incredibly skilled but also a wonderful role model for both of my boys. His guidance, patience, and commitment to each student’s development go far beyond the studio. My youngest son was inspired to join after watching his big brother train, and now both of them have grown in confidence, focus, and respect.
One of the things I appreciate most is how the instructor takes the time to work with individual needs—even during group classes. He’s attentive to different learning styles, skill levels, and goals, which makes every student feel seen and supported. As someone who works with kids myself, I’m especially impressed by the way he connects with and motivates young students. His ability to manage and inspire kids with such patience and positivity is truly exceptional.
Eventually, I decided to join the adult class myself—and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The training is challenging, empowering, and fun. Whether you’re a kid, teen, or adult, this school offers something special for everyone.
We’ve truly fallen in love with martial arts, and it’s all thanks to Mr. B and the incredible environment this school provides. Highly recommend!

I would like to say that I am a former owner of a Martial art school in the area. Manny used to come to our school and spar and he was always professional and respectful and extremely talented. I have a 12 year old son there was no question of who I wanted to entrust the development of his Martial arts journey with. This is a wonderful school to learn self defense skills and great exercise with a wonderful staff. Manny works tirelessly to insure the integrity and the level of instruction is at the highest level.

Great karate school and instruction. My son has been attending for almost a year now since he was 5, going on 6. The staff are excellent. They teach the karate skills along with lessons on focus, discipline, and hard work. It’s like watching a different kid when my son is there, paying attention and pushing himself! Highly recommend and can try it out first.

We have spent over 5 years at this karate school, and I am forever grateful we found it. My daughter has gained so much self-confidence, physical strength, focus and of course martial arts skills. Mr B who runs this studio is an amazing teacher, fighter, and mentor. It is apparent from the second you step into his studio that he loves martial arts and he loves teaching kids. He teaches integrity, anti-bullying and important social emotional life skills, he expects a lot from the kids, he is very strict but fair. He really pushes the kids to be the best versions of themselves they can be. I have seen my daughter grow so much by learning how to push through her fear, Mr B's belief in her has made all the difference in how she now knows she can accomplish extremely difficult things both mentally and physically.
This place is everything you want in a karate school in terms of martial arts but it's so much more than that. It is truly family. Mr B's instructors Ms Niki and Mr Simon are also skilled martial artists and great teachers and mentors. They all contribute something special in terms of skills and ways of connecting with the kids. They are teaching them all the skills they need to obtain their black belts but at the same time the kids feel very connected to a community. Before the pandemic they did monthly kids night out with tons of fun, games, ice cream, and a movie. They also organized summer camps for the past few years.

Manny is an absolutely amazing trainer. He focuses on exercises being completed properly to ensure the paticipants in his boot camp are not injured. I would recommend his boot camp to anyone looking to get in shape.

What You Need to Know:
-The instructors are amazing with children of all ages as well as adults
-Tests are hard but fair
-Emphasis on real-world application
-Wonderful sense of community
-Mr. Bujold is a licensed massage therapist who has taken classes in physical therapy and can accomodate and treat injuries
A Little Bit More:
Agoura Hills World Champion Karate teaches the martial art form; Tang Soo Do. Mr. Bujold is not only a world champion fighter, but an absolutely amazing instructor as well. He is amazing with all of his students, but especially the younger “Lil Ninjas”. In fact, all the instructors are wonderful with little kids as well as are amazing martial artists in their own right. Ms. Niki and Mr. Simon both teach the weapons classes and are incredible with nunchaku and bo respectively. The athletic benefit of the classes transfers over to all sports, and the self discipline encourages excellence academically.
The belt tests are hard, but fair. This is because they are designed to prepare students for real-life situations. Mr. Bujold is a licensed massage therapist who has taken classes in physical therapy, and is always willing to accomodate the injuries or physical limitations of his students because he truly cares about his student’s safety.
Though Agoura Hills World Champion Karate is a martial arts school, it is much more than that- it is family. And the lifestyle brings together people of all ages in support each other as we grow together.

Decent place to bring the little one for some solid exercise, and discipline. My son loves to come and train here but the facility could see a bit of updates
