Utterly Displeased
With plans to open my own aerial yoga studio, I decided to order from Aireal Yoga because I was familiar with the quality of their products. Since the company is based in the U.S., I placed my order well in advance—on November 28, 2024—to ensure it would arrive in time.

Roughly 15 to 20 days later, I received what I believed was the full shipment. It wasn’t until a month later that I discovered one of the packages had been returned to the company. At no point had I been informed that my order would be arriving in two separate packages. I only received tracking information for one parcel.

The company claimed they would start an investigation. On my end, I double-checked all tracking and correspondence and confirmed I had not missed any notifications. Despite this, they waited months before finally deciding to send the missing equipment—only after multiple follow-up requests on my part.

To make matters worse, I was told I could receive the package faster if I agreed to split an additional $250 in shipping costs. I found this completely unacceptable, considering the delays and lack of communication were not my fault.

It is now May, and I still have not received my full order. At one point, I was told the replacement shipment had finally left the U.S., only to later find it had been sitting in Oxnard, California for over a week with no explanation or movement.

This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and accountability from a company in this industry—especially when working with international clients on time-sensitive deliveries.

I looooooooove this place!!!! It’s such a wonderful studio filled with amazing teachers and safe equipment. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or someone who is more advanced, there is something for everyone. Wide variety of classes and offerings. The trainings are great! Give it a try. Highly recommend!!!

Carmen is an amazing teacher. No matter if she is teaching a one-on-one private or leading a teacher training halfway across the world, she is always prepared, full of knowledge and shares her expertise lovingly. The aerial studio is a magical place that will only continue to grow in their new space in the mall! Can’t wait to see it!

I have wanted to try aireal yoga for years. That's when I found Carmen and her studio in Ventura, CA. It was love at first visit! The studio staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. They make sure people of all experience levels feel welcome and supported. Carmen and the other aireal yoga teachers make sure you are set up in a safe and comfortable position before class begins and goes through the basics. And then class itself is absolutely bliss. This is yoga like you have never experienced. Many think it is challenging, but in reality, it is truly yoga for all bodies. The hammock supports you and challenges you in ways you cannot imagine, and takes your yoga practice to new heights (pun intended). I highly recommend taking aireal yoga classes with Carmen and her aireal yoga team! Carmen is also the founder of aireal yoga, so you are in for a real treat. She also offers aireal yoga teacher training if you want to deepen your practice and/or teach yourself. I cannot recommend aireal yoga enough!

I took my first yoga class at The Aerial Studio in 2012. During Covid I was able to continue on line with the membership Carmen created. Aireal yoga is a gift. If I have the need to stretch, it's perfect. If there is, instead, the need for exercise - also perfect. And, if all you feel up to is relaxing - there are modifications for that as well. I no longer live with low back pain, and definitely attribute that to the strengthening, stretching and inversions that are possible using the hammock. So grateful that you are here in Ventura!!!

Carmen’s AlReal yoga classes & teacher training courses have taking yoga to a whole new level. I have been exercising and doing yoga for years but AIReal Yoga is one of the most fun and beneficial forms of movement that I have ever tried. At 77 years of age and with back issues, thanks to AIReal Yoga I can still fly through the air and through life with the greatest of ease. I highly recommend for all ages!

When I first met Carmen and discovered she owned the Aireal studio and taught air real yoga and aireal classes a dream came true for my (then) 5 year old granddaughter. She began classes right away and thru the years my granddaughter joined the aerial performance team. So very proud of her!!! I attended aerial yoga classes with Carmen. Carmen has fulfilled many dreams through out the years and is loved and respected by her students and parents. I am one of those lucky people who respect and love Carmen. Carmen is an incredible instructor. She knows the anatomy of the body very well and applies it to her lesson plans. AiReal Yoga has changed my life. Perhaps it is fair to say it has also saved my life. I got into yoga after back surgery, however, I always felt awkward and unable to go deeper into a pose or gain strength. I started AiReal Yoga about 8 years ago with Carmen Curtis as my teacher. I loved to see my body change over the years of doing yoga with Carmen. I am currently coming back from a head injury and doing one-on-one AiReal Yoga lessons with Carmen.
