Whether you're an experienced boxer or someone looking to get a good workout and get in shape, this is hands "up" the best boxing gym in the Bay Area. No egos, and a warm, welcoming, family vibe at ATB. The classes are tailored to the member's level, and taught by experienced boxers with years of experience and knowledge. I have been a member of Aloha Time Boxing for 4+ years. This is a boutique style gym where you receive a lot of attention and guidance.

The instructors here are excellent and highly professional. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to offer guidance on your form, stance, and your fitness goals. They are true experts in their field. Check out their profiles online!

In addition to the amazing instructors, the other standout feature of this gym is the community. The gym members are incredibly friendly and supportive, creating a welcoming and motivating environment. It's great to be part of a community where people are genuinely happy to see you.

I mainly take Counter Punch, Aloha Strength, and the BazzelStrength class. BazzelStrength is for those that would like to take it to the next level. It's a unique blend of exercises that creates muscle confusion and an intense core workout. It's one of the best and most effective workouts I have ever done.

The cleanliness of the gym is also commendable. The gym is well maintained and includes unique fitness equipment for your boxing experience.

From the many gyms I have visited, Aloha Time Boxing has a unique offering that is unparalleled. Overall, I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for an effective and professional fitness and boxing experience.

Joining Aloha Time boxing gym has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. From day one, it felt like Ohana - a real family vibe where everyone, regardless of age or athletic ability, is welcomed and encouraged. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely support you every step of the way, whether you’re just starting out or trying to get better.

Have to say coach Arnold is one of the best out there. He makes sure you get the best workout every day and changes things up so that you are constantly challenged. Watch out for the smile, it means something hard is coming your way!! He is great!!!

Also, shout out to Coach Steve!! If you’re looking for a coach who brings the perfect combo of knowledge, intensity, and positivity, look no further than Coach Steve. He pushes you to your limits, all while encouraging you to do your best. And he does it all, with that big, contagious smile and his signature line, “I know, I know.”

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned boxer, the coaches make sure you’re constantly improving. They make sure you keep good form and always ready with modifications or adjustments to suit your level, injuries, or goals.

What really stands out about this gym is the sense of community. It’s not just a gym; it’s a home away from home. Everyone pushes each other to be better, and the positive energy is contagious. If you’re looking for a place that combines top-tier training with heart, this is it. Come try it out!!!

From Fairtex Colma, to Fight & Fitness, and now to Aloha Time Boxing… I’ve been fortunate to have been part of some great gyms. I first walked into Aloha Time Boxing in 2021 but have been most consistent from 2024 to now. It feels like home. The coaches are all knowledgeable and friendly. The workouts and technique are great. It’s a place where you can rebuild, tune yourself up, and maintain your fitness.

Aloha Time Boxing has a team of talented coaches. Each instructor has years of experience in boxing- so important to truly learning the skills necessary to learn the sport.
The friendly atmosphere is engaging and welcoming whether you are a beginner or seasoned athlete.
I want to take a moment and highlight James Michael Bazzel:
I have been fortunate enough to work with co-founder Michael Bazzel for over 18 years now. Mike’s background as a boxing, strength, and conditioning coach who draws from many disciplines is why his instruction doesn’t look like any other coach.
Starting as a rookie in a class of many students, I have watched with eyes wide open as Mike controls the environment all while giving personal attention and assistance to many during the classes. He does this seamlessly with positive drive and passion.
Being a part of this quiet greatness inspired me to compete in a variety of disciplines, And become to become a trainer which I absolutely love.
Aloha Time Boxing - where athletes are inspired.

Tried different sports and gyms and couldn't keep on. This little gym is great and different, and I became its long term member.
1. Coaches are great great. Professional boxer and GGG training team staff as coach/owner.
2. Supportive members who encouraged me to stay, and we became friends, which became one motivational factor to keep me going.
3. The classes are well designed. Sparring classes are especially fun (and safe).

One more thing is, it's a small gym and not like those fancy big new gyms with shining new equipments. And things there seem like being used for a long time. But don't get blinded by this appearance. This gym got great substance.

I started boxing classes for the first time in September 2024 and I was very nervous to start a new hobby. It soon became my favorite kind of workout — I always feel very supported and encouraged every class and Coach Arnold makes the classes so much fun! If you are beginner, I definitely recommend trying this place out! You won’t regret it :)

This gym is truly the best training facility I've ever experienced! I work with Arnold, an impressive pro boxer who consistently introduces innovative ideas and techniques in our sessions. The counterpunch class is phenomenal, allowing me to engage in bag work and partner drills that really challenge my limits. Each session leaves me with new skills and a sense of progress. On Sundays, there’s the Bazzelstrength class, perfect if you're ready for a serious challenge and want to strengthen your core. Aloh Boxing offers authentic training where you master technique, relaxation, speed, and so much more. It’s a fantastic community, and it’s absolutely worth the journey from Palo Alto to San Mateo!

Aloha Time Boxing has been an amazing gym from the first day I walked in. Everyone there is like family and it starts with the owners and trainers. Bruno, Bazzel, Arnold and Steve are all first class professionals that offer training to every skill level. Whether you’re just looking for an amazing workout, or wanting to really learn and polish technical boxing skills, Aloha Time delivers in every way. I’ve been training with Arnold directly and cannot thank him enough for all the coaching he provides through his personal professional fighting and training experience.

Aloha Time Boxing is great! The people are warm and welcoming. We were total beginners visiting from out of town but Bakr and Wendy still spent time with us, giving us corrections and patiently teaching us techniques. We’d love to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn boxing.

Aloha Time is an awesome place. I started going 2 months ago and now go twice a week.

I have zero boxing experience. I signed up for 4 individual sessions with Bruno before going to the classes to get the hang of things (recommend) but it would be fine if I didn’t. I’ve taken classes from Bruno, Arnold, Bazzel, and Steve they are all real cool and patient with beginners. All the people that are experienced in the classes help you out too.

I played team sports my whole life through college and it has similar vibes at Aloha Time.

Buy some cheap boxing gloves and hand wraps or rent them to get started. Fun way to work out and learn how to box. You will probably become addicted!

What I learnt after Six Weeks at Fight Camp

If you are looking to get into boxing or merely trying to get in the best shape of your life, you need to go to Aloha Time. I joined a fight camp this a few seasons ago and Bruno taught me something new during every class/session. Not only was my technique better, but my mind-body connection improved. The notion of Ohana is not thrown around lightly; it is core, it is platform, and motivation. It doesn't matter if you are a wahine or a keiki, Aloha Time is a safe and thoughtful place to train and grow.

Bruno, Mike, and Arnold are excellent trainers. Whether you want to get in shape, learn how to box, or both, Aloha Time is the place to go. The gym is small which allows for a lot of personal attention and feedback. I trek all the way down from San Francisco to train here—it’s worth it!

Bruno and Mike are world class trainers. Their classes are fun and creative. I have been training with them for years. Their new gym is clean and filled with all the latest equipment that will get you into amazing shape. I am a trainer myself and am very picky when it comes to classes. I drive all the way from Menlo Park during rush hour traffic to take class here! Well worth it!
