I have been working with her for about 5 months. She is very knowledgeable about the ability to make great improvements in flexibility, gaining muscle through weight training as well as good nutrition for overall health. She takes extra care to make sure you maintain good form while training to avoid injury. I never thought you could lose weight and inches through weight training however the results have been proof that with an experienced trainer such as Amy it is possible. I highly recommend Amy Elder.

Amy got me back on track lifting weights for strength, balance and losing my expanding middle. She does a great job of making exercise interesting, while also insuring that my 73 year old body does the exercises correctly and without injury. Thanks Amy!

I have tried other personal trainer for a short time and did not continue, feeling not making any progress and not being encouraged. I often hurt myself due to not perform the correct form. Thanks to Amy, that is different this time. She is great to spend time and even extra time if needed to explain and help me to do the correct form. Attention to details and doing right form have helped me not hurt after workout. I am glad that I have met Amy and plan to be her client for a long term. I had the privilege of working out with Amy for many years. She helped me rehab both a broken tibia as well as a torn ACL. Not only did she help me regain my strength, but she put me through soccer-oriented training to help me better prepare for club and collegiate level competition. She works so well with clients on finding a training regimen that fits schedules and lifestyles. So I met Amy through a friend of mine who was training with Amy, about a year ago, and shortly after I also began training with her! Amy is not only ridiculously knowledgeable when it comes to her expertise of the human body and how to properly train it, but she is also one of the kindest, most genuine and just wonderful women I know. I have been training with her for a while now and I could not be happier! She knows just the right balance when it comes to how far to push me, without going to far, and I am seeing results and could not bee happier! Do yourself a favor and try her out... Honestly, always such a great experience working out with Amy. She listens to your goals, places heavy focus on avoiding injury, all while gently pushing you to your next limit. Because of Amy, I am in a better mindset and less focused on seeing the numbers on the scale go down. Instead, I'm paying attention to how I feel and the strength I'm gaining. Amy is a great trainer and I recommend her 100%.
