Andrea White Pilates is a boutique Pilates studio in Santa Monica, CA that was recently named Most Loved Santa Monica Pilates Studio in 2023. We believe that Pilates is for every body. We work one-on-one with clients and in small groups (classes maxed at four people) to ensure individualized attention to form and alignment. Our teachers are experienced and knowledgeable with injuries, special conditions, and prenatal and postnatal Pilates.

I am THRILLED that someone recommended Andrea White Pilates to me a couple years ago. I have been able to build strength and flexibility, all while working through several non-Pilates related injuries. Taking private sessions with both Alex and Fleur has helped me immensely. I felt so validated my last session with Fleur, as I FELT much taller and longer through my spine. But it was confirmed when I got to my car and had to adjust my rear view mirror up as I WAS literally taller. The teachers that I've worked with have been super conscientious about NOT flaring up existing, long-standing issues, while at the same time improving many facets of my practice. Thank you all!

It’s funny, I never thought of exercising as a path to healing until I found Andrea White Pilates studio. Exercise was something I slogged through to get fit, individual needs be damned. This isn’t the case at Andrea’s studio.
I had an injury that was persistently painful. It was like a rail I hooked onto as I got out of bed each day and unhooked from to go to sleep at night. I had become afraid of my own body. If I moved in just the wrong way, I’d be gripped with this sharp pain that would stop me in my tracks. It made me hesitant to try a new activity or go out for fear the pain would grip me and I’d be stuck in a tricky situation. I was narrowing my world and it was awful. I’d tried physical therapy, yoga, chiropractic therapy, and Pilates at other studios with little improvement. I thought I’d try again and I’m so thankful I did. Andrea and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable about body mechanics. They’re attentive and clear as they guide you through exercises that will best untangle and strengthen your body. I always fee safe doing the exercises and — this astounded me, pain free after each session. I’m almost always pain free now. My world is opening up and fear is being replaced with a playfulness I haven’t felt is years. I needed to heal but was worried I’d further injure myself if I made the wrong choice. I nailed it this time. Andrea White’s studio is the place where my healing began.

After trying several Pilate studios on the Westside, Andrea White Pilates was the perfect fit. It’s small, clean, private, bright/sunny.
A year ago, a botched hip replacement has left me very stiff, weak, aches/pains in knee and lower back, limited mobility, a heavy limp and reliant on a cane.
Now, 3 months of private sessions, with my great instructor Sean (shout out to Fleur also) my aches, pain and stiffness has dissipated. I’m stronger, walking faster (without the cane) and more flexible. It has also boosted my confidence and helps me focus on mindful/conscious breathing.
I can’t live without it now - I love it!

I started working out with Andrea three years ago, initially to get in shape for my wedding. I continued my sessions with Andrea throughout my pregnancy, right up until four days before I gave birth. The results were incredible: a smooth labor where I pushed for only 20 minutes, experienced minimal tearing, and had a speedy recovery. I fully believe that this was possible because of the workouts I did with Andrea.
Thanks to Andrea, I also avoided diastasis recti. Our focus on core conditioning and strengthening the pelvic floor truly paid off. Andrea's understanding of the body's needs and her genuine care for her clients is clear in every session. Andrea's Pilates sessions are the only workouts I've consistently stuck with and I 100% recommend Andrea White Pilates to anyone, especially expecting mothers.

This is the best Pilates studio in all of LA! Very clean and utterly professional! They stay on top of everything. I love Erin’s classes, she is so, so talented. She will structure each session — strength with balance— so brilliantly that you will achieve things you never thought possible. My husband and I started doing Pilates with Andrea about five years ago. We started out with weekly sessions, then added two virtual classes during the pandemic. Pilates has made us stronger, more flexible, and improved our overall well being. Andrea exudes such goodness and positivity! I started coming to Andrea White Pilates in my second trimester. I loved it so much I continued coming for the rest of my pregnancy and came back after delivering. Erin's prenatal class is exactly what I needed. Erin is great at providing safe and very effective exercises for both pre and post natal clients. She also rarely repeat movements so the class is always interesting! I also love the small format because it allows the instructor to tailor the class and correct technique. I can't recommend Andrea White Pilates enough!

I have being doing Pilates with Andrea for over 10 years. Her classes are focused, well run and challenging. She is always on time and professional. I have been in other classes where everyone just chats the whole time and the workout suffers, so I very much appreciate how Andrea runs her classes so as to be focused on the workout itself. Andrea's greatest strength (among many!) is that she closely watches each person's form to ensure that the correct muscles are being utilized and to avoid injury. Being a dancer in her past life, her attention to detail as to form is amazing. I highly recommend doing Pilates with Andrea!

Excellent and beautiful new studio with first rate instructors. I did private sessions with Bobbi as I worked through recovery from spine surgery. She understood and supported my recovery beautifully. I’m now doing classes with Andrea, who is a terrific instructor; classes are like a semi private because of her attention to us students. This is my favorite pilates studio in LA! I have been working out with one of the trainers, Rachel, for a few months now and already notice a huge difference in my muscle tone and overall strength. Andrea has been so lovely and accommodating with my ever changing schedule. And not to mention the studio itself is beautiful, clean and in the best part of town!

I have taken many different classes at various studios in LA and have never had the wonderful experience that I have received until I started taking pilates classes at Andrea White. When I started with Andrea , I was in terrible shape. I had several back fractures as a result of osteoporosis . Andrea knew exactly what exercises to do with me and was very aware of what not to do. She's very knowledgeable about the body and is an expert in teaching Pilates. She has given me a new life where I can participate in all activities and be fracture free. I am so grateful to her for helping giving me my life back.
The studio is clean and very well managed.
I highly recommend her and her studio. Her teachers are also great.
Andrea is a lovely and calm person which makes each session enjoyable.

Andrea White Pilates has made a tremendous impact in my life. I have never taken a Pilates class before, but when the Covid lockdowns took place, I enrolled in Andrea’s virtual classes. The instructor, Andrea, makes subtle corrections so I know I am executing correctly. She is extremely knowledgeable and makes class fun! I have been a part of the virtual classes for nine months now (1-2 times per week) and am more flexible and have better posture. What I am most excited about, though, is I have noticeably less aches and pain, especially in my shoulders, back, and hips. Therefore, I do not have to go to my chiropractor as often. I would definitely recommend Andrea White Pilates!

Andrea White is not only one of the most knowledgeable and professional Pilates teachers in Los Angeles but her studio and team of trainers have created a place where people of all ages and levels of ability and mobility can improve their health and wellbeing. I’ve been training with Andrea for over ten years and I can absolutely attribute my flexibility, ease of movement and a decrease in pain in all parts of my body, to Andrea’s acute skillfulness to understand my needs, devise a plan of action and produce results. This studio and Andrea could not be more wonderful! Andrea is such an incredible person who has completely changed my life. Working out is not something I have ever enjoyed, but I was encouraged by my physical therapist and chiropractor to start doing pilates to help with my minor scoliosis and a previous injury. I am beyond grateful that I found Andrea! She is patient, kind, and amazing as an instructor. Her studio is beautiful and the other instructors are also fantastic. This is the first time in my life that I have ever enjoyed a work out - and now I find that my best days are the ones I visit her studio! This is the best studio! Andrea is the most wonderful teacher and has created a beautiful, zen space for pilates. Her expertise goes well beyond pre-natal and post-partum, but Andrea trained me through two complicated pregnancies with such care and precision, then guided me back into shape afterwards. You get long and lean and strong. Going even just once-a-week brings game-changing results, people.
