About the Club

I started this business part-time in 2018 while still working in a Physical Therapy clinic. My love of helping people to move better and desire to continue the work started in PT using Pilates oriented movements, lit my flame to open my own studio! Now, using my background as a PTA and deeper understanding of full body strength and balance as a Pilates Body Worker, my passion gets fulfilled daily as each client walks out the door feeling and moving better than they did coming in!

Ann Sabine is a superb Pilates Teacher. She is particularly skilled at recognizing movement patterns and making her clients feel at ease. As a seasoned Pilates professional myself, I love taking Pilates from her. Another one of her strengths is understanding the connection between Physical Therapy and Pilates. She works very well with others and can seamlessly integrate what your physical therapist has given you, offering Pilates to take you to the next level of wellness.

Finding Ann Sabine Pilates has been life changing for me. I did not realize how restricted my life was because of my mobility. She has improved my movements dramatically. I can garden and get off the ground much easier. I can walk and stand on hills and uneven terrains. And it has only been two months!! Ann is a gifted pilates teacher. I've worked with several different teachers over the years and I've never met anyone as knowledgable or intuitive about the body and what's needed for optimum movement and use of the correct muscles for strength. I've been working on the reformer with Ann for about 3 months, 2x week and have never felt stronger. I love our sessions because she's always fun and very encouraging. I always leave our sessions feeling stronger and more inspired.

She is a great creative teacher and knows her Pilates and body movement well . I have scoliosis and she’s helped me a lot and straightening out my body and understanding how to correct the problems. It is a peaceful and clean place to come to and the people I meet there coming and going are always friendly. I used to do slow weights, but I have found that this Pilates has worked better for my body. And I’ve gotten stronger and I can see the difference in my body. I highly recommend coming and trying it out.She has a mix of classes and individual or duet or triple sessions with people.

Ann Sabine is an amazing Pilates instructor! I came to her for help with scoliosis and have made so much progress. I am stronger, more aligned and flexible due to her positive support and variety of exercises. Her clear instructions, attention to detail when giving cues, along with her ability to come up with appropriate exercises demonstrate her awareness and understanding of the body and its muscles, etc. She offers individual, group, and class sessions. Ann has changed my life in relation to exercise. I first saw her in a physical therapy situation which quickly led to pilates sessions. I am so grateful Ann has a vast amount of experience and is incredibly creative in her work. She can find a way, no matter what. And I feel safe with her which if you've had difficult injuries, you know is important. I've been amazed in the 3 years I have worked with her, how much stronger I am even while being challenged by my body's limitations. And my body no longer has the same limitations! Ann is quite simply a very gifted instructor. Not only is the breadth of her knowledge of exercise physiology and anatomy wide and impressive, but she communicates clearly how the body responds to each movement and, furthermore, how each exercise relates to daily functions.

I have been working with her for about 3 months now and am making steady progress. Within a couple of sessions my pain level began to diminish and I am now able to move pain free—all while I have significantly increased my activity level and function. She customizes each session with the aim of meeting both my short-term and long-term goals.

Several years ago, I studied Pilates on a thrice weekly basis for over 10 years under a few different instructors. I am impressed with how many new and varied techniques I am learning from Ann. And to top it off, she is very personable, pleasant, and my sessions with her are lots of fun.
