The best gym in Camarillo, if not Ventura County! Open 24/7, so you can go whenever you want! It has various cardio machines, free weights, and squat/bench racks! There are rarely any large crowds, most of the time is has a nice of flow of people going throughout the gym.
Staff and trainers are extremely friendly and ready to assist you with whatever fitness questions you have. They are always willing to help show you how to do an exercise, or explain what exercises you can do for certain muscle groups.
Gym is always kept clean and up to date. All the members wipe down the machines after they use them, and the cleaning wipes and spray are located throughout the gym.
It has three private bathrooms, and two of them have a private shower located inside. Also, if you’re ever in the area and need to use the restroom you could pop in to do so. It is has private cubby areas with surveillance cameras, some sofa chairs, and a new vending machine with various items ranging from protein bars to pre-workout drinks! The entire gym has security cameras located throughout, in case something ever happens, but nothing ever does! All of the members are respectful of one another and adds to the friendly family atmosphere!
Stop in for a tour with Matt and he is more than willing to show you around and discuss any and all fitness/health questions that you may have! He is also available via phone or email if you prefer to contact him that way!
You won’t regret signing up! I know I never did, and I have been a member since they first opened in 2015!

This is by far the best AF gym I’ve been to. I’ve been to AF gyms across the country now and none have been as clean, well equipped or nicer looking than the Camarillo location. The owner Matt has done a fantastic job with this place. He is definitely one of the better managers/owner and best humans you will ever meet. Cannot recommend this gym enough.

Anytime Fitness holds many opportunities, I've only had my membership for almost a year and the staff has been very helpful for my fitness journey. They provide excellent service and a BWI scan anytime. They often change the machines oils and fix any repairs if needed. The Coaches help you out when you ask and help with a extended hand as well as a great smile.

They're open 24/7 every day of the week. With the membership, you feel like you're invited to a small community that is Anytime Fitness! This has been my first gym ever and I have to say I got my money's worth.

I hate to let the cat out of the bag, but I recently moved so I don't mind sharing that Anytime Fitness is easily the best gym in Camarillo. They've got every machine you could need (cardio, free weights, squat racks, bands, rollers, you name it) and are open 24 hours. Friendly staff and regulars make for the perfect, non-intimidating atmosphere. Just an ideal spot to hit a workout in a clean, comfortable space with all the extras.

Great gym in Camarillo. The managers Matt and Michael are super friendly and do a great job maintaining the space and equipment. Three bathrooms for changing, 2 of them have showers, never had to wait for them. One of the bathrooms has a scale and the other has a hairdryer. In terms of equipment they have everything you need for a good workout - free weights, machines, cardio, floor space. Nice bonus that with your subscription you also get access to the other AF gyms which are all over the place. Hopefully they'll add a sauna sometime soon!

I’ve been visiting and lifting at this gym for a couple weeks now and I have absolutely zero complaints.

Gym floor is always well-maintained/clean, people are nice and wipe equipment, floor has all the tools and equipment you will need for your creative lift and the bathrooms are tidy as well. You can tell the gym owner takes pride in his gym and has established a nice gym culture that will make you feel at home. In fact he is usually in-house at the gym to help with anything you might need. Wifi also works well

If you need a quality gym, look no further! With 24hr access, you won’t find too much better out there for your value.

Love love love this gym. The owners are amazing! Its always clean, and updates are always being made. I feel a sense of support when I go either by the owners or by other members of the gym. This has motivated me to continuously go and stick to a regimen. I typically go late at night after classes, I’ve always felt safe and comfortable going truly at any time. Its a judgement free gym! Anytime I’ve needed assistance I don’t feel embarrassed to ask for help. Everyone there is so kind and I don’t see myself every switching gyms in the future!

The main problem is that the owners decided to save money by not running the air conditioning. It is so hot, humid, and sweat-smelling that you'll want to leave before even beginning your workout. Equipment stays worn out and broken without any upkeep. Go elsewhere until it is hopefully sold and new (local) ownership makes better decisions.

Was a casual gym goer here.... I had credit card fraud on my card and forgot about my auto pay here. Instead of emailing me, calling me, texting me, reaching out AT ALL to tell me I lapsed on my bi-weekly payments, I got sent to DEBT COLLECTION FOR $900!!!! I would have been HAPPY to update my card info. Really disappointing and I wouldn't take the risk of doing business here if I were you!

I love it here! It’s no where near as crowded as other gyms I’ve been to. It has a very welcoming atmosphere that keeps you motivated to come in everyday! I’ve been working out with one of the trainers, Dustin, three days a week for about a month. The progress I’ve made so far is incredible! Not only have I made progress physically, I’ve also learned quite a few things. Dustin is very knowledgeable of his craft and can adjust the workout to whatever you need. I highly recommend going and getting trained at this gym.

its 2 squat racks that also double as the bench press, deadlift, overhead press. You can deadlift and OH press off the rack with a 3rd bar they have but it is a pain and you will be in the semi crowded dumbbell area. Basically theres 2 barbells available for all barbell exercises.

Congestion is surprisingly not bad but if someone is doing a whole barbell routine, they're occupying 50% of the bench, squat, deadlift area. So when it does get backed up its bad. It just takes 2 people to block all barbell exercises for the gym, you cant always work in if someone is doing squats and you want to bench or deadlift, or if the weight differential is too big.

No sauna, no steam room, no calf raise machines standing or sitting.

Bathrooms have always been clean, 2 year track record.

I had been locked into a contract with planet fitness for a year finally got out of the contract (they ended contracts recently) so I was excited to start a membership here the gym owner was extremely unfriendly, I mentioned a special I saw online and he did anything he could to try to get out of what the special said...
He was in his fifties and solid muscle 🤔 the only way that happens is if you're on Roids 💉.😧..
He was extremely aggressive, conceited, unfriendly, this was an extremely horrible experience and I am disgusted by the way I was treated...
I will be reporting this location to corporate, hopefully they'll take this guy's franchise rights away. Negative 1 million stars 👎

This gym is the best Anytime Fitness we’ve been too! Me and my hubby travel around the US full time and this one by far beats them all. Clean! Tons of selection on different machines! Great little gym. I love that it's open (to members) 24/7. It's clean, the equipment is in good shape, and it's not too crowded. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. The one thing to know about the staff is that, because it's a small place, there aren't always staff on hand, so if you're hoping to interact with staff regularly, you'd have to figure out when they're there (unless you're scheduling time with a trainer, of course). But if you're comfortable working out solo in a chill environment, then this is a great option.

In the past 18 months this gym has had three different GMs and multiple other positions leave. Their current GM lacks in her ability to communicate and speak to someone respectfully.

I put in my 30 day notice and was told I needed to meet with the manager in person. I was informed managers are no longer able to cancel memberships and it has to be approved by the district manager. Then I was told they will be taking 90 day notice. They informed me they will be charging my card without my permission for an additional two months after the end of my contract dispute me giving 30 day notice prior to the end of my contract.

The gym is about right for the price but they have no intention of ever letting you go. Their only goal is to continually up-sell you.

I have worked with Dustin, Daniel & Calsie 1-1 or in group and they all rock!! They have some of the best trainers if you want help achieving your goals! I would highly recommend!

What a gym! Not only are the staff super friendly but it always looks so clean! Does not feel like your typical gym. From the awesome workout music to the new equipment, you cannot go wrong here! Also a great location!!! I love working out and not having to stare at wall. Instead you get to look outside with trees :) Also the bathrooms!!! OMG the bathrooms. I am a "NEAT FREAK" and I go into these bathrooms feeling like they are spot cleaned after every single person that goes in. The 24 hour access helps too! This will be the gym you join for the rest of your life!
