Great gym. I end up visiting a dozen+ gyms each year because of travel, and this one stands out. Equipment is plentiful and in great shape, lots of cardio machines, additional rooms to escape into if you seek quiet or more space. But it’s never been too busy and I haven’t had to wait for machines. The staff are friendly but so are the members, who are there to work, but take the time to smile or connect. Somehow, the vibe here is above and beyond most of the gyms I’ve visited, but I think I just appreciate the quiet and space. My memberships are short-term wherever I go, but the manager here, Nando, treated me like a long-term member and his friendliness brought my experience up a notch. Ironically, my experience at an Anytime in LA was very different than this, and I probably wouldn’t return there- but in Carmel, the price was very reasonable, the gym clean and well-equipped, and the staff and members were wonderful!

Nando and his team here in Carmel are awesome! Anytime I’m working out and have questions about exercise and nutrition, Coach Nando always gives me the straight truth and also how to perform exercises correctly! Whenever I come it’s like I’m being welcomed by my friends and family. The selection of equipment, number of cardio machines, and open space is far supreme to the nearby facilities. Plus, the folks that attend are super friendly and polite. I have traveled to many AF gyms but this is the best and I am blessed to live close by my favorite AF gym, here in Carmel. They also have a high end machine that gives me a printout of my body fat percentage and my nutritional requirements to hit my goals and it’s free to use it! I highly recommend this gym!

I love working out at Anytime Fitness in Carmel! It’s been more than four years since I joined. Nice location, convenient access 24/7 and lots of parking. It has comprehensive equipment for cardio, functional mobility and strength training along with spacious studio for stretching. The atmosphere is comfortable, friendly and safe. Not intimidating. The staff are very nice and welcoming. Nando is an amazing trainer. He consistently motivates and challenges me to push myself to achieve my fitness goals that I never thought I would be able to reach. James is very attentive and helpful with membership inquiries whether you want a day pass, weekly, monthly or annually. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who’s into physical fitness and wellness and seeking for a great environment to workout!

I am only giving it 1star because I can’t give less. Nobody likes or respects Buck the manager. He needs to button his shirt all the way — no one wants to see his chest hair. There’s a woman member named Kim who walks up to members and tells them that they are fat. Many have complained to Buck but he doesn’t do anything. If someone responds back to her to give her a taste of her own medicine, Buck will scold them and threaten to cancel their membership. I quit — GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

I have been a long time member of Anytime fitness Carmel. I really like how big the facility is Compared to the other anytime fitnesses.
More so , Anytime fitness Carmel has personal training, one on one. I have been training with Nando, For sometime now and I can’t recommend him enough. He goes over what his clients needs and wants are. He makes it his priority to help you meet those goals. Not only is Nando a one on one trainer, He also is more so of a life coach. He does customize meal planning and much more. Whether you are trying to build muscle tone, slim down, or just maintain, Nando is the perfect person to help you meet your personal goals. One thing that sets Nando aside from other personal trainers is, he will accommodate your schedule as best as he can! He has even come in at 4 AM when I had a scheduling conflict so I can get my workout in. He takes his training very seriously and it is just as important to him as it is to his client.

Anytime Fitness in Carmel is a very nice gym. The equipment is clean and the layout isn’t crowded so you can workout comfortably. James at the front desk helped me sign up, he was very informative and helpful. I keep forgetting my water but they have a nice water fountain as well as sell cold bottled water for $1. I definitely recommend giving this gym a try.

Cardio section could use some downsizing to fit some more squat racks but other than that I couldn’t ask for more in a gym (Maybe a sauna and an ice bath would be the cherry on top, but this isn’t a country club). Very easy sign-up process, friendly staff, plenty of equipment for all of my needs. Everything looked clean. I was a member here back when it was In Shape, and the loss of a sauna is definitely a downside. I understand they can’t have it open 24/7, but there’s no reason they couldn’t have it on during staffed hours just like other gyms do. And I miss having towels provided so I didn’t have to carry a wet towel in my bag after taking a shower. Turning the sauna back on during staffed hours would definitely turn it into a five star review. But this is the most convenient location to me, so I’m going to put up with it. I like that they don’t have classes anymore so you don’t get that massive crush of people in the locker room trying to take a shower all at once.

The staff here are the best thing about this place. But as a member from when they took over after Covid, I have to say that I'm disappointed by the lack of maintenance of equipment, and the cleanliness. From a distance it looks ok but I've asked several times for them to clean the cushions on the couches up front which are stained with who knows wgat. Tired of seeing the sauna stuffed with waste baskets, and the large gym used as a storage room for spin bikes.
