Anytime Fitness Duarte has truly been a blessing in my health and healing journey. After my total knee replacement, I was recently cleared to work out and started training with Brandon. The progress has been incredible—just three months post-op, I no longer need a cane!

The owners and staff go above and beyond with their support. Anytime I have questions about my membership, they are transparent, helpful, and treat members like family. The community here is also amazing—other members are kind, friendly, and welcoming, which makes such a difference when showing up to the gym.

I highly recommend this gym. The cost per use makes the membership an excellent value and a true investment in my health. If you’re looking for a supportive place to grow stronger, heal, and feel at home, this is the spot!

I did not author, post, or authorize any such negative reviews. These reviews are fraudulent and were created without my knowledge or consent. I have never made the statements contained in those reviews and do NOT endorse them. I believe someone has impersonated me online to harm the business reputation of Anytime Fitness Duarte and its owners.

Furthermore, It is my intent to assist in the swift legal investigations to locate the parties committing fraudulent behaviors and prosecute the guilty with the full extent of the law. This, as of date, is an active investigation to locate all parties committing impersonation and fraud. I demand the guilty parties remove said posts to avoid prosecution.

I affirm, Anytime Fitness Duarte, is a wonderful gym and the owners are respected in the community who following fair business practices and have created a family environment within.

I signed with Anytime Fitness in November 2023, and in February 2024 I sent an email to stop all payment and cancel my membership just before leaving the country for school. For the next 17 months, they ignored that cancellation and bled me for $70 every month.

THE GRAND TOTAL:

ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED NINETY UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($1,190) STOLEN FROM ME BY ANYTIME FITNESS DUARTE

I didn’t want to get stuck in something like this. I paid extra for the month to month membership, to protect myself, only for this business to be so negligent and and greedy.

When I finally uncovered it, I expected them to do the right thing. Instead, a so called “refund” of only 60 days which was only $140 came in the mail. The rest? Gone. And as if that insult wasn’t enough, they had the audacity to charge me for another $80 on top of all the money they stole from me to ‘help improve the business.’

This gym is run by money hungry thieves. Anytime Fitness robbed me, and Anytime Fitness will rob you.

I previously attended the Arcadia Anytime Fitness gym, and I am so glad to have switched to this one! The managers are much more attentive and leagues easier to get ahold of, and the personal trainer I have worked with (shoutout to Brandon!) is amazing at demonstrating the proper way to use machines and perform warm-ups. I would pick this gym over any other gym, any day of the week, and I am so grateful to be a part of this awesome environment! People are so friendly here—it makes me feel less like a hopeless outsider and more like a real part of the fitness community, even though I have a long way to go still! This is an excellent gym. It has a variety of upper and lower body machines, cable stations, smith machine, free barbell and dumbbells, and kettle bells. There is also a good variety of cardio machines, like the row machine, treadmills, and bikes. Bathrooms are clean and everything is well-maintained.

Do not recommend. They will nickel and dime you.

Requested an account freeze in writing on 4/21, 48 hours before my next payment date.

They did not confirm my freeze till 4/24 so they could charge me on 4/23.

Was told the freeze would be for a month. I get back on 5/24, my account's not working. What did I even pay for?

From the very beginning, I wanted a single month's commitment since I travel a lot. They convinced me to sign up by promising I could freeze my account anytime.

Now I'm being charged for arbitrary time periods where I'm not here.

Switched from 24 hour fitness and not planning to change gym anytime soon. It’s a small boutique gym, but has mostly everything I need. Opens 24/7 and usually not crowded whenever I go, which is a huge plus for me. Staffs are always friendly and will get on top of it if an equipment is out of service.

I've been at this gym for a couple of years now and it's the one I've been most comfortable in. Even at its busiest hours, it's nowhere near as packed as the bigger chain gyms. It is also the cleanest gym I've ever been a member of. Everyone makes a conscious effort to wipe down the equipment after each use. Everyone re-racks, too. It's these little things that just make everyone's experience smoother.

The staff has always been helpful and encouraging in my fitness goals. If you take advantage of the periodic full-body scans, you get a chance to talk things out one-on-one with the trainers and they help guide you.

There's lots of equipment and multiple options for any muscle you'd like to work on. There was a week where the location closed for renovations and I worked out at a different Anytime location. The other location was so small and had minimal equipment. It made me appreciate this location even more.

I sometimes take for granted the 24-hour aspect of the gym. I forgot the a lot of 24-hour Fitness gyms aren't even open all day anymore. It's definitely nice that I don't have to worry about this gym's hours and come in and out whenever I need to.

I miss the luxury of steam rooms and saunas from bigger gyms, but the overall culture, cleanliness and ability to comfortably workout any time of day were a good enough tradeoff for me. For a while I did late night workouts and the neighborhood was fairly quiet, never feeling unsafe, which is another little luxury we might not often think about.

I feel like I really don’t want to talk about this gym……because I want to be selfish not share to all how amazing this gym is. I always get to do my workouts done despite rush hour. I like this gym because it is almost never crowded. Music isn’t overly loud. Doesn’t stink. They provide wipes for the machines. Its small but enough space to do what I need since it doesn’t get crowded and machines aren’t often occupied. Staff is nice. Facility is kept clean. Restrooms and showers available. i like coming to this gym even though it’s far from my house… it’s usually empty and clean. however, the AC is OFF and it’s HOT in here. how are you going to have the AC off on a summer night? seems like this is a common issue at many anytime fitness gyms in LA county with the exception of Pasadena.

Out of all the starting gym experience this gym had been the most welcoming and inviting. I went on staffed hours but did not realize that I needed to make an appointment. Breeauna was able to get me information and took me in right away. She is very knowledgeable!! The gym has always been such a great experience and had everything you may need to succeed. Great place! I started here a few months back and this is the first gym I've attended consistently. Its always clean, there's a good variety of machines and free weights/accessories for any skill level. Its rarely crowded and the atmosphere is friendly/low-key, but serious (its not like other places that are very large and busy).
The customer service is exceptional and friendly. I paid for several months of personal training from Coach Bryanna Taylor and now Erick and it has been really worth it for me to start off properly.
Don't be like me and start working out in your 50s...start as soon as you can to avoid issues later. If you've never been to a gym, this is a very easy place to get started.

One of the best gyms in the area, it has 24/7 access, the gym owners are super friendly and always greet you to have a good workout, has more of a private gym feel with the 24/7 access key fob. This is the best gym I've ever been to. Clean, spacey, great staff, and the other members all mind their business or are pleasant to work out alongside with. Though some members like to occupy two stations at a time, it's all good because there are plenty of other stations that would be available to target the muscle you're working on. It's open 24/7 and doesn't smell like an armpit. Only reason I would say not to come here is because my fiancée and I want to keep this gem to ourselves!

I’ve sent 2 inquiries on membership info because I was looking for a gym that was close to me that was open 24/7. However, they have failed to respond to me TWICE by email and 7 times by phone. Love this gym! It's small but big enough where you can breathe and move around comfortably. I've gone on non peak hours and it has been no more than 10 people in at those times. The gym is so clean, so well kept and you can tell that the owners take care of the place and the members take pride and keeping up the cleanliness. I've been working out at gyms (that stayed open) since the 2nd shutdown happened and have yet to contract Covid. I get tested 2x a week for work. So I feel like gyms are the safest places to be these days and I definitely feel safe working out at AF Duarte! Thank y'all for not only being open but showing pride in keeping that place sparkly clean!

This gym is the go to place to get a great workout in. I was having a hard time getting a routine going due to the lock downs. I was literally starting to struggle with weight once again. Gaining what took almost 9 months to lose (35 lbs) and gaining it right back in about 2 months.
I've been coming to this gym before Covid, and the thing that really had me was how well kept the gym was. I don't mean how new the equipment was. No, see, in anything, the details are what matters. The gym for one did not smell like your typical gym, I mean it literally did not smell like sweat and old sweaty rags quite the contrary. Second, every member was wiping down the equipment after their use! I was sold. They finished up the tour, with the restrooms, and well, no spots on the mirrors, no toilet paper all over the place, they were pretty much spotless!! Skipped the trial, and signed up on the spot. I had been to too many of the big gyms, and they couldn't do half the job these guys do to keep up with their equipment, let alone cleaning.

Fast forward to post Covid, and they have definitely increased their sanitation. I feel safe coming in. Not only are they keeping up with their usual cleanliness, but every member does their part. They have strategically added more disinfectants within reach, paper towels, and disinfectant wipes. Which makes it easy for everyone to use their equipment and wipe it once done. All members are required to wear masks, and I've seen everyone following through in doing so.

I'm glad they are back open. It's keeping me in line. High blood pressure, hypertension, and diabetes run in my family. I'm glad this place is open so I can put in the work, and avoid what most would call inherit genes. I dropped 12 pounds since they opened back up. Just glad I can keep up and sticking on the path of healthy, and strong.

I've been a member since December 2018, since joining they have made a number of awesome mods to the gym. This gym is a lot more intimate than other gyms but I love that its never too crowded. The machines are up to date and the studio is always open if you like a more private workout. With it being a 24 hour access gym, I always feel safe coming and going at all hours of the day. The staff are what really make this gym. They've always been so kind and accommodating. If they're around you will always be greeted with a warm smile. Bree is not only an amazing trainer, but she also doubles as a great listener and overall awesome person. Love this gym!

By far the best gym experience I’ve ever had! When I first started to go I didn’t really have a goal set up, but I’d say a week into my membership I had a free consultation with Bree who sat with me and directed me step by step on how to work, and we set a goal and schedule that worked for me! And it was just so amazing to have that support, especially since I didn’t really have knowledge of the equipment, she was always there to help! She even trained me and guided me through a workout that I though I wouldn’t be able to accomplish! But I did and she was right by my side not letting me give up, and I appreciated that so much, I feel the dedication she had for me to achieve the goals is what made the experience unique! Her and her husband are very passionate about what they do so it made it all worth while. And just as a side note, they always encouraged me to bring my baby since they knew it was hard to find a sitter at times so I really appreciated that they were family friendly :) thanks again to Bree and her Husband ! It seems to be a good gym but they have an unreasonable cancellation policy where you have to pay in full amount till your one year contract expires. Even when you rent a house and you want to break the lease there is one month of pay for cancellation.....There are even more strict. So if you enroll please be careful about this policy.

Member over 13 months lost key ,wanted $25 they charge $45 month not even key a year canceled my membership screw your key and your gym good customer service would never lose customer over $2 key over $46month membership

Make sure if you sign up with this club, you stay. I was injured on equipment, after only going twice. I stopped going of course, and let the owner know. She was annoyed and didn't care, all she wanted was for me to keep paying even though I hurt, and not even a month later sent it to collections for more than $400. I've been a member at a few gyms, such as Foothill in Monrovia, 24 hour fitness, Gold's and LA fitness. Gold's has the same ellipitical equipment and they understood and actually cared when I had nerve injury in my foot. Not this place.

Dropped in while traveling. Easily top 5 best I've worked out at. Multiple racks, lots of space, new equipment and it's a newer gym so it's relatively quiet.
