Sean is an excellent boxing coach! He explains techniques in a clear and simple way, which makes learning much easier. He really pays attention to his clients, making sure you understand the movements and improve with every session. His patience and focus on detail make the workouts both fun and effective. I highly recommend training with Sean if you want to get better at boxing and stay motivated! 🥊

The gym itself is fine but God forbid you try and contact them after you've established with them in person that you're canceling your membership. I've sent numerous emails, left voice messages, sent a Facebook message, and even sent a message through their portal but I've only been responded to once. My account is still getting charged even though I've sent them the appropriate paperwork to cancel my membership and have seen zero refund! Absolute garbage experience.

Facility is small with limited equipment, untrustworthy, and is overpriced as well. The only positive aspect of this gym is the 24 hour access one has to it, besides that there really isn’t much else. They have an annoying cancellation policy that can’t be done through the phone or online that takes 30 days to happen and in those 30 days you will still be paying fees. When trying to cancel my account I payed ALL! the fees that would have occurred in the 30 day span in advance and turned in my key before a date given to me by the owner, we shook hands to confirm this would be the case. Despite this agreement the owner proceeded to try and charge once again for another month weeks after my final payment was done. Called the facility to report the problem but they denied accountability. I had to contact my bank to resolve this issue because it is quite a terrifying feeling knowing an untrustworthy facility has your bank info. The owner seems to only care about the client when he is benefiting from their money and will jump through endless hurdles to avoid losing that monthly charge he gets from you.

I have been a loyal member of this gym for almost 10 years. Today, as it happened, I forgot my key. I waited outside the gym for 5 to 10 minutes hoping to get someone (like a manager, etc.) on the phone, but no answer. Finally, I saw someone inside the gym that I recognized, and she let me in. Come to find out the owner (Sergio) was sitting in his office with his feet up, making a private call the whole time. Or at least, my guess was that it was personal, based on his giggling. I now Signal to him that I have an issue, and he ignores me. Then the lady that had let me in signals to him, as he is her personal trainer; he ignored her too. In the interest of time I decided to just get on with my workout and discuss my issue with him later. Soon he gets up from his office, comes out and confronts me, telling me to “sit down” as if I am a kid at school and he is the principal. At the beginning of the pandemic, I called this gym to put my membership on pause, however, the gym continued to charge me all the way through the pandemic up to the present day. If this fellow who is both the owner and a personal trainer is wrapped up in his personal phone calls, he should at least treat long term paying customers in a more respectful way. On top of everything, my time waiting outside and then inside was wasted for absolutely no reason. I think this irresponsible and unprofessional dude needs to see this in print so he recognizes the consequences of his unprofessional attitude.

Literally LOVE the customer service and the environment in the gym. All of the staff are so helpful and they really put all of their effort into pushing you towards your goal. I’ve been training here for 8 plus years and it’s always a positive experience and encouraging environment.
The trainers are always adding new opportunities for classes and training so you’ll never get bored of the same routine. Staff are very helpful and the other members are all very nice. Alex and Anthony keep the classes challenging and fun!!

Very clean facility. The gym was recently updated and got new machines. I usually go in the mornings, so it is not super packed. It is on the smaller side, but the space is utilized efficiently. I have seen some equipment broken down, but they are quick to get them up and running. The staff is great!

Let me tell you if you are trying to cancel it’s a whole process and continuing of payments that seem to be just made up. They just try to prolong the cancellation in order to continue taking money. I sent in the questionnaire that is ridiculous to fill out about your experience, again just to prolong cancelation. Plus you will need to wait another month for it to process. I tend to go with private trainers but decided to try this smaller gym and this is exactly why I avoid gyms like this. It shouldn’t be that hard to receive a cancellation request and stop taking people’s money but unfortunately it seems to be.

The gym membership started off great until I wanted to cancel my month to month contract. I had to call the owner (Alex) and visit the location several times and was never provided cancellation forms even after requesting. I moved 8 hours away and then Alex stopped returning my calls. The payments kept coming in even after my request to cancel. I ended up “owing” $300 in fees which anytime fitness had a debt collection company tell me i owed. It was truly unacceptable. I do not and will never recommend this gym location to anyone.

I’ve tried a majority of the gyms in Oxnard and they are always so packed. Anytime Fitness in Oxnard has been my best fit. I love how intimate this gym is and never feels crowded. It’s always so clean and there is a variety of equipment/machines to choose from. The staff is beyond friendly and always checking up. It’s worth the price I pay for my membership since they are open 24/7!

As a business traveler having this gym membership is pretty much necessary for me to maintain my fitness. I can go anywhere (24/7) in the country! This particular location who is run by Sergio the owner, along with his friendly engaging fitness staff has a really great gym here.. it's conveniently located centrally in the Oxnard area. It is a well-equipped gym with quality, clean, and well maintained equipment plus all the essential amenities ~ what more can you ask for? If you live in the community, come on down and get started on your fitness journey/hobby at a really great well maintained facility! Tell them I sent ya 😉 Todd.

This gym was something else. I only joined because at the time there was no other gym opened 24 hours. But oh do I regret it. First of all, it is in need of some deep cleaning. The place smells! The restrooms are dirty I would rather just hold it until I get home. Their customer service is lacking. I switched to 24 hr fitness at the collection and it's soooo much better and a whole lot cheaper too! No initiation fee! One last thing. I was informed by an employee that my last charge would be last month and I still got charged this month. I have emailed her twice now and have yet to get this resolved. Overall, if I could give this 0 stars I would but too bad I cannot. Please do better anytime fitness. 0/5 would definitely NOT recommend!

First time back in was a few weeks ago to get a new member key. Quick service.

This place is clean. Users disinfect their station when finished. Staff cleans throughout their shift.

I've tried the other gym in the area but they don't have the same weights and theirs are in lower amounts.

These guys have quite a bit plus a room for group workouts. In this room, they have kettle bells, ropes, mats, and punching bags.

A little bit of everything and the hours assure you that you can get a good workout in without the crowd.

I paid through the pandemic and I'm glad they're still open.

The good is that this gym is CLEAN and there are an appropriate amount of machines here. Anyone of any fitness level can get in a workout here. The bad is that I don’t feel management leads by example here (or at least the example I would want set if I ran the gym.) Their office hours are listed as 10-7 on the website and 10-6 on the door, but it seems like they have a tendency to close earlier than that. As an equalizer personality type, I don’t find it fair to demand excellence from staff or patrons if leadership can’t deliver it themselves. Further, the bathrooms here would benefit from an “occupied/vacant” style locks so one isn’t interrupted while trying to prepare or use the bathroom. I’ll revisit this gym in the future to see if the experience changes.

Visited their gym today used the bathroom and shower. 2 hours later the “manager” called me telling me she “checked” the cameras and I left a huge mess in the bathroom and she had to clean it up. Also if I wanted to be able to use their gym again I need to clean up.

First off, you need to check your cameras better and get your facts straight before you have the balls to call someone accusing of making a mess. I walked into that restroom and saw the trash all over the floor, the mirror that was just laying there. So I used the restroom next to it. Horrible judgement call on this “manager” and maybe it would be best to have someone else above her before she continues to make a joke of their location.

I have been a member at this gym since the day that it opened, and I am in love with my Anytime Fitness family! I am 72 yrs young, and the staff knows exactly how to keep me motivated and energized on those days where I really don't feel like doing much. I found out from Max the manager, that they also are the only gym that will pick up members from their homes or place of living and give them a ride to the gym. If that doesn't motivate you, then I don't know what will. Join my gym, they really do care!
