Avoid this gym at all costs! It’s cramped, poorly maintained, and has an unpleasant odor. But beyond the subpar facilities, the real problem lies in their unethical business practices and abysmal customer service. Proceed with extreme caution if you’re even considering joining. Their contracts are riddled with hidden fees, and dealing with staff is an exercise in frustration. They’ll deceive you about contract terms and continue charging you even after it’s supposed to end. The franchise owner is unhelpful, rude, and shady. Don’t believe a word they say—they’re only interested in squeezing every last penny out of you and making it nearly impossible to cancel your membership, especially if you’ve relocated.
I deeply regret ever setting foot in that filthy gym. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

This location has the poorest costumer service. They’re super rude and scammers too !!! I was staying for 6months so I signed up for a year ( bc apparently it was cheaper) and got locked into a two year contract which I was supposedly told about. No I wasn’t or I wouldn’t have agreed :)) anyways I tried to cancel multiple times and was told I was harassing them. So anyways be careful, The most unprofessional. From the time I walked in, Miranda was warm, friendly and very sweet. She thoroughly went over my options. I told her about my medical history and she empathized and also connected sharing her own similar personal struggle with the same health issue. She did not push me towards any specific program. When she helped me register she even helped me download the app and showed me how to use the electronic key with her beside me. I had an amazing first impression!

Then, I met Annette. I had a nice visit where she went over where I am starting with this fancy scale that measures body fat and took some measurements. She was positive in reading me that we will work on these as our target areas in my personalized training program she tailors to suit me. I requested a morning and she accommodated my commuter schedule. Annette is one of the nicest, down to earth people ever she doesn’t make me feel intimated and is so accommodating.

You’re making my fitness journey more relaxed by helping me be less apprehensive! Thank you both for being the best!

I had an awesome workout at this location. 💪 with it being October, they had the place decorated nicely for the Halloween theme. It has plenty of room for distancing from others. The bathroom and equipment were clean and maintained. I'll definitely stop by this gym again when im passing through California. Thanks

I've been a member for almost 15 years and been to multiple different locations for extended period of times and this location will lock you out of the gym if you are not paying their rate. I found out you can't really go to any anytime fitness unless you are paying their rate. If you call corporate they'll say their not sure and every location is different. Almost feels like false advertisement. I was hoping they would treat their loyal members a little better but was very disappointed. The Cathedral City Anytime Fitness location is managed way better and they know how to treat their loyal members, just look at the better Google reviews ratings the Cathedral City location has.

I really like this gym, however the setup for cardio is not good. The treadmills become so hot during the daytime because the windows magnify the heat. I can only run when the sun is down otherwise I get too overheated, which is inconvenient . The windows desperately need to be tinted or to have some better curtains to keep the area cool. Or maybe a fan that actually points at the treadmills. Anything please.

The gym isn't half bad, wish they had larger weights but that's not the reason they got a 1 start. The reason they earned one star is the way they do business. Signing up is easy, you call and leave a message, he called me back and we set up a time for me to meet and make a membership. Cancelling is the hard part, I moved to Richmond CA, almost 9hrs away and in the months before I moved I called and left messages to cancel my account, sent emails, and tried coming in at various times during the day. Apparently they only get back to you if your opening an account. Over a year and a half passes and I forget about it. I'm diligent about keeping my credit spotless and paying my bills on time, it's only $325, not going to break me, but rather than pick up the phone or reply to email they waited over a year and a half to send it to collections for a larger balance. I just hate shady people and duplicitous businesses and they earned that star for that one. We could have settled this over a year ago had you picked up the phone, responded to an email, or had someone in the gym who could cancel my contract correctly. I'll make sure to tell everyone who will listen what a greedy little piggy you are.

This is place is ridiculous. I was supposed to do a 7-trial bc I honestly want to find out what gym in the area will best suit me. I was supposed to come on a Monday but asked if I could push it out 5 days to Friday and the guy said sure no problem…”see you at 1:30pm”. I get there and the gal at the front says “we don’t do 7-day passes”. I wasted my time, was excited all week just to get let down. I wouldn’t send anyone here as they do not know how to provide good customer care. They were terrible at communicating and shouldn’t even have a link for 7-day passes. STAY FAR AWAY!

This is a *best of* #AnytimeFitness location.

The gym is a good size with a wide array of well kept equipment. I’ve worked out here a number of times while traveling and believe they strive to keep it just about as clean as a doctor’s office.

But the real bonus is the clientele—mature, motivated, and obviously dedicated to fitness in whatever their goals. Always an inspiration to be here.

Horrible customer service. Called to ask for prices and how come you can’t tell over the phone , whereas when I call other gyms they have no problem at all to explain me their plans. And they’re very enthusiastic and happy to do so. Very rude, and unprofessional. Asked what kind of equipment they have and his answer, “everything that you could possible need.” What does that mean? How could you possibly know what I need. Very Shallow and low class responses. Spend your money where it’s actually worth it.

Hands down one of the best gyms (if not the best) i have ever been to. I’ve been a member of 3 separate anytime fitnesses and a few other gyms and this one stands out because the manager there is always friendly and will try to help you in any way possible. the 2 owners decorate the place and make sure the customers always feel welcomed and a part of a family. this gym is never crowded and i’ve never had to fight for time on a machine or squat rack. i can talk forever on how this gym has been the best but the 5stars is all it will let me do.

Gym is clean good atmosphere. But when covid hit and they werent open. They still charged my account. And denied me my refund. My contract was officially done. And it was never made clear after your contract is done. It goes to month to month. They still charged and I explained to manager. It was never made clear and I didnt know until I saw the charge in my bank today. Still won't refund the money. Feels like I've been scammed and if I knew I wouldve canceled but I didnt. Talked to the manager and they wont refund my money so for that I give this review. Seems greedy to me. I have my own business and if I had a service like this I would understand and give the customer back their money. That's bad business.

Great gym! Just the right amount of equipment and space to get your workout done efficiently. Met one of the owners right after joining-great lady! Also, Joel signed me up. Not a great experience. Was in town for a week. Wanted to use the club while I was here and was told that my membership had not been active for 30 days and they could not let me use the club. No exceptions! Rule are rules (this place has lots of them in the fine print - so if that is important to you make sure you and your lawyer :) read them carefully.

Very friendly NEVER crowded like the other cheaper gyms. My husband and I went there in the evening, there was more people than usual, but it still was not crowded. The equipment is on the newer side and very clean. When there is a representative available, I am always greeted with a smile and they are always willing to answer my questions. This is probably one of my favorite gyms to go to.
