I’ve been coming here since October of 2023 and it was nice and local but ever since this year 2025 the gym doesn’t get cleaned at all. Bathrooms smell every single time and the equipment is so dusty and dirty.
The cardio equipment is broken as well. This places needs some TLC.
Permanently closed. No email notification, no signs posted anywhere. Just closed.

I have no idea who came up with the idea of making a rundown PT office into a gym for the public but it was horrible. Most of the equipment was broken and there are no staff members onsite for the gym. Only the PT office. It was very weird.

I’ve been a member here for 4+ years, and the gym service been going downhill. So many good people that used to work here. So many long-term members are no longer here. Gym is managed mostly by the regional team, so service and attention is lacking.
Physical therapy has been maintaining this place mostly. There’s no staff on site. Calling the number will not guarantee someone will answer, nor will it guarantee a callback. Texting will not guarantee service either. Your monthly fee, your annual fee will not guarantee attention either. It’s unfortunate.

Choose another gym, honestly. I’d recommend the gym that will open at Canyon Crest soon.

The only pro is that it’s open 24 hours. Other than that, administration has forgotten this place. I’ve been asking for a machine to be reupholstered for over half a year, and it’s all empty promises. Yet they’re quick and adamant to get me in the gym when my debit card expired. $$$$$

Again, there’s been great people that have serviced this place. Awesome members that attended here. But it’s wack now. Choose another gym. You’ll regret locking into a contract here because they’re not in the business of customer service.

Not ideal if you’re trying to get a normal workout in. Lots of physical therapy, the whole gym space is used by/for the PT sessions and their personnel. Basic equipment tho if you can manage, $10 day pass.

Total dud. Most of the cardio machines are out of order and the owner (who I've yet to meet in person) threated to charge me $20 a day via email for going in to use the restroom and fill up my water bottle during the hours that the physical therapy center is open. Jokes on him because I transferred to Planet Fitness nearly a month ago after it took him a week to fix the shower curtain rod in the bathroom. I was just waiting for my Anytime membership to expire because as others have noted, this place is horribly managed by a money hungry scumbag that couldn't care less about his customers. Save yourself the headache and go sign up elsewhere.

I’m a single mother and I can’t afford the membership anymore and asked to cancel but they have refused to let me cancel unless I pay the full amount up front. Which I don’t have the money for. I'm traveling from San Diego. I contacted the owner about working out and bringing a friend. She responded promptly and made concessions for our situation. While the gym provides physical therapy, it didn't interfere with my workout. The staff was nice and I didn't have to wait to use equipment. I continued to use the gym until I left to return home. For three days, each day was consistent with my first visit. If you're a gym rat looking for other meatheads to socialize with, this probably isn't right for you, but if you looking for a basic gym to workout, this is a good choice.

I'm a USMC Vet who signed up for their 7 day promotion on a Friday. I text their office about coming over on a Saturday to start. I immediately received a text from their manager to wait and come in when staff is available, which is M-F during normal working hours.

So, ok, I arrived on Monday about Noonish, the manager was on break so one of the receptionist assisted me but not before telling me that I needed to wear a mask because this Anytime Fitness is connected to a physical therapy center with some elderly people, regular folks and ppl being "worked on" at the massage tables, themselves wearing their masks.
She said something about, if other people see me Not wearing a mask it may cause some kind of a potential hazard to the others? (I'm thinking,,, What hazard, what risks?🙄)
She took my temperature, I said that I'm healthy and that if sick people who are scared of getting Covid-19 shouldn't be out anyways for their own protection, right? And that I have a medical condition, which requires me to breath in fresh air,,, especially if I'm working out or gonna be exerting myself, duh (common sense). It's imperative that our body, mind and overall complete system get enough air fresh to be naturally rejuvenated and heal for soul-mind-body wellness.

The receptionist was cool about it and seem to understand the logic, wanting to remedy this situation, she suggested that I come back after hours when the physical therapy center was close but the gym remains open? I couldn't do that, telling her that I was instructed to come check in during working hours being that it was my first day and that I was given instructions to come between those hours. (Plus, I was already there,, why the inconvenience of coming back later on at night, wasting more fuel, time and causing unnecessary trouble.)🙄

As I was putting on my mask in the waiting room she kindly allowed me to go work out until the Anytime Fitness manager was back from break in order to check me in officially. After about 45 minutes of stretching, leg presses, lower back workouts a shorter, round woman comes out to inform me that I was granted only this 1 visit and Not the 7 day promotion like other people were getting (which was their advertisement & promotion). She informed me that it was her that texted me to let me know to come in during normal working hours BUT she didn't informed by text that it was only a 1 time visit. 🙄😴

It's a 25 mile rd trip for me with congested traffick, it took me 45 minutes just to drive there and back home (60 & 91 FW 🙄). She could have saved me the time, the trouble by letting me know of the 1 day & not the 7 days. For me, I wouldn't make this drive or the hassle involved if it was for 1, 45 minute workout.

I think it's their hidden prejudice and fears.
My physical appearance could have intimated or triggered them? (I'm not an old white woman needing their therapy session. I'm there to exercise and maintain fitness.)
I was wearing a mask during my workouts but it would slide below my nose periodically when I needed to breath after each set and not suffocate or causing harm🙄. I workout away from others, wiped down equipments, had my ear buds on, doing my own thing without interference.
The manager didn't explain a whole lot and seemed to just want me out of there asap.

I think they came together with the manager & made a judgement call. I think they came to their own conclusions and made their call without really hearing me out and understanding the real facts about Covid. (Is it 1, 2 or 3 masks, 6 feet apart and with Vaccinations? And, what are you scared of? Aren't you immune after your Vaxxs?)🙄

I had to cut my workout short after one of their male therapist (a short, semi bald slightly overweight fellow comes over to me,,, inches away from my face and Not 6 feet away as is their policy,,, to tell me to put my mask back up. I ignored him, finished my last set, grab my things.

By this time, it was already getting too much. Getting cold & angry looks from their employees & therapists under their masks 😷. I left.

The gym manager here is fantastic! Staff is so helpful, reasonably priced membership and a good variety of equipment kept in good repair. This is a smaller place, so it doesn't have frills. If you're serious about your.workout - you'll love it here. If you enjoy lots of extra amenities and the social aspects of the gym - this might not be the best place for you.

I'm not really sure where to start. Very disappointed. This location does not meet the normally high standards of Anytime Fitness. There are massage tables and physical therapy stuff set up along the perimeter of the small facility. It feels very uncomfortable when you walk in. One of the strangest experiences of my life. If this were my only experience with Anytime Fitness, I’d run from the name as long as I heard it. This particular joint shares the floor with a Rehab clinic, which isn’t necessarily the issue...it’s just a crowded floor with limited equipment as a result. It’s here and available for me to use in my area today, so I can’t complain too much.

Said something about it to meat head at front desk and he just stared at me lost, but as I was leaving he decided to come outside and want to confront us. This is a physical therapist that happens to have some gym equipment.....and they call themselves Anytime Fitness? I don't even know what to say.... If I lived in Riverside, there isn't a chance in hell that I would sign up for a gym, that is also a physical therapist. This is a great gym! I feel like I’m really able to focus and get a great workout in here. You can come in at anytime you want which means you can beat the rush hours and have access to all the equipment. They are also in the process of a remodel! I have been training at this gym for 4 years the staff is amazing the gym is always clean I never have any problems coming late at night I highly recommend this gym I posted this reviwew about 3 years ago the gym since thn has went down hill fast not being cleaned on regularly when u see a water bottle in same spot for 4 days that means this place had not been cleaned not to mention the restrooms smell like mildew they also continue to take away machines, taking forever to fix broken ones you complain to management several times they don’t seem to care nothing ever gets done I used to love this gym but it’s to the point now it’s so bad & filthy I’m forced to train at another gym I don’t recommend this gym any longer Now the staff in the physical therapy side is amazing along with the other workers but it’s out of there hands it’s in the hands of management to make sure these issues get addressed but no corporation what’s so ever I left several messages fir the main manager Tara Love to contact me but never got a return call Vry poorly ran Not recommend this gym to anyone

After visiting many franchises Nationwide , this "gym" appears to be a side gig thrown into the middle of a a physical therapy/ massage clinic. You enter and then are literally walking past offices and desks for the clinic, staff all over .Even massage tables in near walls inside gym. Terrible ,ill equipped, poorly maintained equipment , that is not nearly up to standards for anytime. Showers / restrooms are in an odd spot and an insult , as is the whole set up of the place. You want to workout in the middle of a circus , and phys therapy clinic with fat ladies getting massages next to you? Well have fun then! Me ,never again!
