Signed up to this gym in the past as a backup gym as it is available at all hours and has locations internally. This specific location has poorly maintained equipment that feels run down.

I recently reached out to staff to fix and issue with my membership and I was informed nobody was available to fix it until the following week. I told them I was traveling international and needed it done as soon as possible. I was told they would scan my request to the manager and I would be contacted. I never received any call back. I then used the contact number for the manager from a previous email where I received a response but after requesting information regarding my account he stopped replying. Poorly maintained location poor customer service.

This gym when I sign up the charge was post to be 20 but end up paying more than you post too. The service for help is not there to provide assistance. The manger is never there and to me I wouldn't prefer sign up with them. If you try to close your membership you have to find a day that the manger there to close your membership. If I could put negative no stars I would. Don't be the one to get caught in there trick. Learn from me I am stuck trying to find out when the manger will be there to close the membership.

I’ve been going here whenever I’m visiting family for the past two years now and the showers have almost never worked. There’s only two and one of them has had the knob broken off since I first came here and the second never gets hot water. It’s small and the equipment is kinda run down, alright for a workout.

Most machines are broken and the gym is very small. The manager is never at the site and doesnt pick up phone calls or respond to voicemail (that is if u can leave any since his voice mail is full). Overall awful experience. Nobody seems to know who to escalate issues to or what to do.

The treadmills are all broken except for 1 and the chest fly machines are broken as well has been for around 5 months many of the physical therapy staff harass the normal gym customers and don’t let them use any weights and if they happen to hear you barley slam a wiegth they ask you to leave

My mother is currently going as part and of her post op rehab on her knee replacement. This is a unique setup as they also have a separate area for just the gym utilization. The staff are excellent and very patient as my mom had some serious issues with her pain management following this procedure.

Update: Gym is getting worse. The new layout is terrible. The machines are almost all broken mechanically or the electrical displays are making the machines act up and pause. Don’t come during business hours cause the Physical Therapy is taking up half the equipment. Showers run cold cause management is so damn lazy they can’t adjust the water heater to a higher heat. Bathrooms are always dirty and out of toilet paper. Called OnePass to report the place cause it’s not really a gym anymore.

I'm in Riverside for only a few months out of the year. I like going to 24hr gyms to avoid the crowds and honestly, the cameras that are all over the place during the day.

I called and spoke to Matthew about my situation where I was only in town for a short time. He made me the best short term membership at an incredible price waiving the sign up fee if I paid everything up front for the affordable price of about $100 for two months.

This included 24/7 access to the gym. I go every other night and sure there are a few people but no cameras and tripods to trip over and worry about. I never have to wait for a machine or treadmill. What would normally take me an hour and a half, because of having to wait for those items, now only takes me an hour or so.

The gym is ALWAYS nice and clean without ample sanitizer spray bottles and fresh towels for wiping everything down. There's good sized PRIVATE bathrooms with large clean showers as well. The private bathrooms with showers have sold me to cancel my gym membership at home to drive the extra 10 minutes to the anytime fitness where I live. Thanks Mathew for running a tight ship!

2 of the treadmills don’t work (left ones) it’s been months and still broken. No toilet paper, unclean, the physical therapy people always looking at you. Only one bench set. I only go here because I’m paying for it. Someone threw coffee all over my brand new truck there. Place is too small. No where to stretch.

RUN ! This gym sucks and doesn't even have a single standard bench press. They charge you even after you cancel! The dumbbell handles are made of plastic that are broken and cut your finger if you use them. They lock you down for a year contract either wait you're stuck.

I have tried to cancel my membership multiple times with no success. Every time I've gone to the gym the manager is not there. I have called the gym and I have called any number I could find that is related to Anytime and they always tell me that I have to talk to the manager of the local gym who I cannot even find.

I made an appointment online to have a tour of the gym. I get there, and no one is working out. The receptionist tells me no one is there that can help me. A man walks up and says I would have to wait 30 min before he could help me bc he was with a client and that he doesn't want to waste my time. I left. Any time fitness... more like no fitness for me. Bye.

This place was always lacking space to stretch out, but at least you could get a workout in. About a month ago however, the layout was changed to give more space to the PT office in the same room. Now it feels like you're working out in a cramped closet, as some of the aisles are extremely narrow. They also removed the deadlift platform and second bar. WHY. I was a fan of the lowkey gym style and even forgave the faulty / falling apart equipment, but now they have objectively made the experience worse. I will be cancelling soon.

As a gym, I’m not a big fan at all and will not renew membership. The layout of this place is horrible and unorganized. There’s only 1 squat rack for users to do bench work, squat, and different forms of back or deadlift. There was a deadlift platform and even that was removed creating even more demand for the only squat rack in the place. There’s way more treadmills, other hardly used equipment and elliptical machines taking up space that could be utilized by something more universal. The staff here is great and friendly, there are no issues there. My only issues are the layout and selection of equipment given the size of this place

One of, if not the best anytime fitness I've ever been too. I did an arm workout today and I felt HUGE. The tricep and bicep machines are killer here, not to mention the lighting. Overall a great experience and I look forward to potentially returning.

Key fobs don't work from other anytime fitness establishments apparently and they're not staffed during normal hours to let anyone in. The physical therapy that shares the space with them also has no clue how to help and will just tell you that you have to wait until someone gets there "usually around 1030 sometimes later"

This place was kind enough to give me a 7 day pass to try it out but I came in on a Saturday at 12:00 pm which is clearly within there staffed hours and there was nobody here to let me in. Wow. This place is awful. Way too crowded, not a very large selection of machines. I was on the stair stepper and was actually bumping arms with the person next to me.
The bathroom had no hot water for a shower...

Tried to enter the Gym but my key fob didn't work. So, I tried two more times. Still no entry. I go online to check my account says I'm paid and should be good to go. I've been a member for 3 years and don't see what the problem is. I pay for my boyfriend to be a member too and his key worked fine. This happened after hours so there was no one to address the situation.

Its so funny that someone said NO SHOWERS. There are 2 private showers here at the Riverwalk location. Also the person who said we are open 8-5 when we are ANYTIME FITNESS. Yes we are staffed 9-6 but the gym is open 24/7 for members. I wish people would actually comment about the gym and not false stuff :)
