OK, this is only a single data point experience (so far!) but my visit to Anytime Fitness was 10/10! Visiting from out of town, I stopped by Anytime Fitness to se if they did a day membership. For a very reasonable $20, I got full use of this excellent facility. Mike the manager was welcoming, helpful and kind, and the club has everything you need from a neighbourhood gym, and nothing you donβt Clean, well equipped and convenient, if I lived close by it would be a no brainer to join. Iβll absolutely be back the next time Iβm in Sausalito.

Anytime Fitness Sausalito is a great spot to trainβclean, well-maintained, and never too crowded. The equipment is solid, and thereβs everything you need for a full workout, whether youβre lifting, doing cardio, or stretching it out. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and itβs open 24/7 which is perfect for my schedule. Definitely one of the better Anytime locations Iβve trained at. If youβre in the area and serious about staying consistent, this gymβs got you covered.

One of the trainers has a small dog they let run around the weight room. On multiple occasions it has gotten up under my feed while Iβm doing lunges or deadlifts. Same trainer stands socializing for silly periods of time occupying machines. Bathrooms have signs complaining that customers must keep it dry and clean, not take 15 minutes, then they donβt provide toilet seat covers so you can sit down right on the seat as everyone whoβs been sweating the whole time. Equipment is in good order, but I donβt think this place is as tightly ran as they Sausalito think it is.

This gym honestly deserves more than 5 stars!! I was a former long-time 24 Hr Fitness member for more than 20+ years as well as a former YMCA member before I signed up here. This was THE BEST gym decision I've ever made!! I was hesitant to join this gym bc it was "small" compared to the former gyms listed above but realize now that the hesitation was unfounded!! This gym is a rock star and blows the other gyms away! Pros: 24/7 member access (no need to worry about holiday closures or shortened hours), sparkling clean and no broken equipment! For example, at 24 Hr Fitness, if a piece of equipment is labeled broken, it means its broken forever and don't ever think of using it again. Here, if a piece of equipment is not working, there is a note placed on it to indicate when it will be repaired and then it's actually repaired in a timely manner! 24 Hr Fitness can learn from this gym!!! This gym may be smaller when compared to 24 Hr Fitness, but this gym has all the top quality equipment that most gym go-ers will ever need. The equipment is thoughtfully placed and spaced out well in the gym so it doesnt feel cramped. The owner, Mike takes pride in operating the best gym around and it shows! CONS: There aren't any!!!!

This has been a great gym for me! Using the clean-and-ready facilities with "personal training lite" has significantly advanced my physical and mental health. It brought me out of a damaged knee funk and got me through the healing process -- while strengthening muscles overall and my beating heart. I have absorbed shocks and bangs with enjoyment and engagement - and did it any time of day or night that worked for me. They are tireless in creating space for any type of workout for any types of people with enough facilities capability to absorb everyone and how they work their health. PS: My wife likes me squeezing her. A++!

Do not let anybody in even when they say they are a member. Which I know they are a member and forget key. You won't get away with that. Mr Mike will block right away you never going to get reinstated even is one time only.
That's how rude the owner is. You best not to engage with him even a friendly conversation. If you do? There's another side of personality that you don't know that will surprise you.. go in there and work out and don't say so much or talk too much to the owner if you want to keep your membership. One mistake that's it..

All you folks contemplating taking care of yourself with New Year's resolutions couldn't find a better place to get started than Anytime Fitness in Sausalito. Mike is one of the most conscientious small business owners I have had the pleasure to meet, and the gym shows it. The building is clean, well lit, the equipment is plentiful and well kept. It gets busy before and after the 9-to-5ers do their thing (all gyms do), but there is always something available, never a line, and the clients reflect Mike and Elizabeth's friendly attitude, sharing is caring. Be Well, and enjoy a workout at this Anytime Fitness!

THE OWNER IS DISRESPECTFUL AND IRRESPONSIBLE
They scheduled a tour with me. I called, emailed and left voice messages to confirm the appointment and they never replied, so I went there on time and there was no one from staff, so I called and since no one picked up I emailed a complain. This week when I tried to give it a second chance, the owner Michael Witt was rude and said he wasnβt going to take me as a member because I had to accept him not showing up for the appointment. Iβm relieved I wasnβt able to sign up for this.

This may not be the best gym if you're in a hurry and need to shower after your workout as one of their two showers aren't functioning. The gym itself is okay, though extremely crowded. Also, I've been to maybe 15 anytime fitnesses and this is the only the 2nd one that doesn't have Precor AMTs. Overall I would say that this Anytime Fitness was a disappointment.

This is a very strange gym, on one hand if you are a member you can enter the gym 24/7/365, but if you aren't a member you can only enter the gym to inquire 10am-6pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

I am no longer a member of this gym because we moved down south, but this review is to give a shout out to seriously one of the best run gyms I have ever belonged to! This is the first gym I have ever been a member of where the owner is transparent. The equipment was always clean and well maintained, the facilities are safe and secure, and they had a good mix of machines. I have since moved and had to deal with other gyms and experienced that headache. I miss this Anytime Fitness. If I ever find myself living in the Bay Area again, I would join in a heartbeat!

I've belonged to many gyms but nothing has been as awesome as Anytime Fitness in Sausalito. Mike, the owner, keeps the gym in excellent condition, spotlessly clean and takes members feedback every year to purchase new or updated equipment. And he's a great trainer. My trainer, Elizabeth, has changed my life by figuring out the perfect program for me. She is always available to consult with me, as is Mike. There is a big family of regulars here as well. Walking into the gym cheers me up instantly, smiling at familiar faces and knowing I'm getting a high quality workout at a very reasonable price. And don't even get me started on our little mascot, Rookie. Seriously the best gym around!!

Mike at Anytime Fitness (the owner) is one of the most diligent and caring guys. This place is clean, kind and easy to make into my routine. As a woman going in at all times of the day and night I always feel safe and respected. The equipment is always in perfect working order and everything is regularly cleaned and sanitized even before the Pandemic. Working out at Anytime Fitness has been a great experience from the first day I joined. Not only is the gym clean, but the other members and staff make it easy to visit consistently. I also cannot say enough amazing things about the owner, Mike Witt. We began training during my first trimester of my second pregnancy. I had terrible morning sickness and was exhausted but Mike was so kind, patient and knowledgable. His experience and motivation helped me stay consistent and in great shape pre and post pregnancy. Such a fantastic addition to the community. Michael and his wife are the best additions to the Marin Gateway shopping center since Iβve lived in the area, and are always there to help. Fantastic, modern equipment with updated technology and the gym is always clean. Itβs also the nicest vibe of any gym Iβve been to in the Bay Area. I recently joined this fitness club and from the first day I tried it out I liked it. The space is great: high ceilings, light, views , equipment is not cramped. Showers and bathrooms are kept very clean.
The Studio is a separate area where you can follow "live" classes or select your own class .
