Had a great time at this gym today at my first Deka Mile event. The staff were amazing and my coach for the course ran the race himself and then coached me on. The gym itself looks amazing and I would definitely go here if I lived closer.

I've been coming to APX Velocity in Menlo Park every week since I joined in March 2025, and it’s been an incredible experience. I first spoke to Daniel Vo, who helped me with a smooth onboarding process—he’s super nice and made me and my wife feel welcome right away.
The coaches—Andres, Tara, and Daniel S—are outstanding. Andres is an OG coach! Each class is challenging in the best way and really helps you grow stronger, both physically and mentally.
What truly sets APX apart is the community. Everyone is friendly, supportive, and encouraging—people genuinely root for each other, and that energy is contagious. I’ve made some great friends here, and it’s a place I genuinely look forward to coming to.
Special shoutout to every individual who brings their own unique and amazing energy to the gym! The owners of this gym are incredibly welcoming and have created an environment that’s both high-energy and inclusive. You can tell they truly care about every member and have built something really special here.

I find this place a better gym than CrossFit (unnecessary head stands) or an OTF (half of which is just treadmill). This place and workout feels lot more organic, and they have great people to workout with and an amazing coach!

It’s our first very DEKA MILE!! Was so fun!! Very grateful for APX Velocity team for all the training and guidance. Special thanks to Inti for taking his time orienting me and my husband as we had no clue what’s going on. LOL!! Will definitely do it again!!

APX Velovity offers great workouts for folks looking to level up their fitness, train for a Spartan / Hyrox hybrid fitness race, or get into shape with a community of folks who are supportive and work hard- but without intimidation. Workouts can cater to beginners and will push advanced athletes as well. The environment is not pretentious or intimidating and the space is large. They also have an incredible obstacle course set-up for those training for OCR races. Workouts can range from about an hour to an hour and twenty minutes depending on the workout and your fitness level. Some workouts are for time and some are finish when you are done. Love this place!

Apexvelocity this place is one of the best local gyms out there in Menlo park the founders and owners are the best at creating some of the most intense workouts. As wll as hosting DEKA DEKA MILE events that are PR courses. The members are some of the best people to workout with they are supportive , the trainers are dynamic in the workouts they create, you will for sure get a workout you won't forget and want to come back for more.
The clothing they offer are well designed and look awesome to wear.

Love this gym! The vibe is super friendly and encouraging. The two coaches and additional staff are always helpful, and it's easy to meet people since everyone’s so social and supportive.

I started training here in April 2024. I have been going twice a week and have gotten amazing results in my overall fitness. I love doing Spartan Races, and training at Apex has helped me set a personal best at my last race in Anaheim. The classes are fun and challenging. The members all come to train hard, but have fun at the same. Great atmosphere for beginners and experts. Can't wait to see how I perform at the SLO trifecta weekend this November.

My husband and I met Andres and Daniel at a Spartan event where they were tabling. They were telling us about their gym that they had in Menlo Park and we tried it and absolutely fell in love with it. We train at home and on our own but training with a group of people that's so fun and community oriented has been one of the best choices that we made this year. Not only have we seen changes in our training and our endurance, but we've also found an amazing group of friends that share our same passion for exercise. If you're looking for a different kind of gym that does a lot of different Spartan and deka style obstacles this gym is for you.

Awesome gym with great coaches and people! The workouts are challenging yet cater to everyone and they have so much gear to keep the workouts varied and intense: machines (row erg, ski erg, assault bike), kettlebells, dumbells, wallballs, slamballs, boxes, tanks/sleds, rams, a full ninja setup with monkey bars, rings, walls and others. This place is a gem!

AMAZING! I have so many different race/fitness goals that seem incongruous at times, how can I be fast AND strong? I found APX and it has been game changer! Great environment with new workouts each week designed for the hybrid athlete to really push you to the next level. Love the community of people who come each week. Great environment, great people to workout with, and great coaches. If you are limited on any movements, they know how to modify the workouts so that you can get the same intensity as others. Workouts are different each week so it is repetitive and they are very challenging. Everyone is supportive and they pushed you to be stronger and better person. Highly recommended coming here and giving a try. Maybe even become a member.

APX Velocity is an awesome community hybrid athlete training facility that I've been a part of since last September. Thanks to them, I ran my first 5K in 10 years and competed in my first Spartan Race. Lost 20+ lbs while immensely improving my muscular and cardiovascular endurance.
