We truely love this place, it is pricey to admit but the classes are amazing. I have a 2 and 5 year old and they have learned a lot and have come a long way. They are comfortable with the water and understand the danger of the water. The classes teach them safety which is key. At first they cried so much, but the instructors never got mad, upset, or overwhelmed. They had patience and understood their fear and worked with them on the my childrens level. I and my kids love this place. I dont mind paying the price to teach them how to swim and keep them from drowning.

I would like to share a very disappointing experience my son and I had today with Coach Hailey R.

My son has been studying at this swimming school for about one year, and this was the first time he had a class with Coach Hailey R. Unfortunately, the lesson lasted less than 10 minutes, as Coach Hailey R asked my son to leave the class without completing it.

The reason was that my son was afraid to dive into the water. Instead of using patient teaching methods or encouraging techniques (such as toys, tools, or gradual water introduction), Coach Hailey R forced him into the water. Naturally, my son was scared and held onto her arm tightly. At that point, the instructor simply removed him from the class.

This approach was very discouraging. A new coach should give students time to get familiar and comfortable, not force them or dismiss them from class so quickly. We drive about 30 minutes to attend these lessons because we want our son to improve his swimming skills. To have the class end after just 10 minutes without proper effort to teach is very disappointing.

Most of the coaches at this school have been excellent, and my son has made good progress over the past year. However, sometimes coaches are changed without notice, and my son needs time to adjust to a new instructor. Coaches with patience, teaching skills, and understanding can make this transition smoother.

I hope the school can review this situation and ensure that instructors approach students—especially those meeting them for the first time—with patience and proper teaching methods. We value this school and want our son to continue learning here, but we ask for better support and understanding from all instructors.

HIGHLY recommend Aqua Tots! I have 2 children that love the water but were not confident swimmers. There aren't a lot of options where we live so we drive the 45 mins to the nearest location. We have only been doing lessons for the last month and my children are already more confident in the water. My only regret is not starting them sooner! We love that the lessons are with the same instructor every week but they are flexible enough to fit us in another class should we have something come up. They are also willing to accommodate a schedule change to the best of their availability with enough notice.

Kid likes it. Everyone is nice, teachers switch a lot. Hard to get a consistent instructor. Lots of Time spent going over the first skills, hardly any time to go over later skills for my kid to move up. My kids has had most skills"mastered" one or two stars for months, but seems instructors are scared to mark off the last one. Aqua tots is great, the instructors are nice and knowledgeable, however instructors switch a lot. My daughter has been a student since 4 months old and she enjoys the water.

The school is very pricey but I do like 1:4 makes me safer. The pause policy is not convenient at all especially for our younger babies who get sick and miss tons of classes. I have over 15 close to 20 make up classes I am not allowed to pause my monthly tuition to use these classes up. I can pay $10 a month and not accumulate classes but can only use 1 of my makeup classes for the month. There needs to be a better policy.

I do think once we are able to get a big enough pool I will pay for someone to come teach her at home, find more flexibility with cost and using the classes I PAID FOR!

We do group classes and it’s been nice. My only complaint is that sometimes there are really active kids who don’t listen and are a distraction to the other kids and instructor. But I have notice if a kid is acting out sometimes another instructor will take them for part of the class.
I love how easy it is to use the app in order to schedule or cancel a class. Facilities are clean. We have tried multiple swim schools and my daughter really enjoys that she is never cold at this place. I also like that she always has the same instructor like 98% of the time.

Worst Swimming School Ever
This is the worst place to send your child for swimming lessons. My daughter has been going here for two years, and we’ve spent $2,700 for nothing. She’s been stuck at the same level for 1.5 years, and now she’s four years old. They refuse to move her up, saying it’s for “safety reasons.”
They keep changing instructors, which makes it hard for her to learn. After all this time, she still can’t do the basics in the water.
Don’t waste your time or money here. I regret sending her.

The Coaches!!! Coach Michael and Coach Arizah. Both of these coaches have an ability that not many people have with children. They are charismatic, firm, educational. They do such an amazing job of teaching my child and other children at the institution. I highly recommend both coaches to my friends and family.

I haven't gone to this place in a while, but I'm still bitter about it, my autistic daughter couldn't go to regular classes so when they offered one on one, I thought well maybe with their discount it'll be about the same price or maybe a few bucks more... NO!! it is double the prices and that's WITH the discount because otherwise I would have to pay more... that is outrageous!! We didn't choose to want one on one, she HAS to take one on one because of her ASD!! It's crazy to me that we have to pay so much for a survival skill!! Drowning is the leading cause of death in children 1-4!!
And to top it off she had about 12 make up classes ans since i told them i was pregnant they told me they never expire, my child is now 1 but what am i suppose to do go and have my son swim and how the heck do i explain to my non verbal 3yr old daughter that she can't be taught cause mom doesn't have the money and she is not easily teachable!!

The swim instructor and deck supervisor were so patient and helpful when my son was having a rough first class (scared, crying). The owner was also there that day and she was so sweet and encouraging to both my son and myself. They all gave tips on how to help push past that difficult phase. It worked like a charm and now my son LOVES swim class. That plus the fact that my son now knows basic water safety (holding breath, floating, how to get out of the pool) makes this place a 100% recommendation for other parents and their little ones.

I really really appreciate Aquatots. The teachers are all extremely gentle and friendly, and the curriculum is very clear. It took my daughter from being terrified of putting her head in water to a kid who enjoys floating and blowing bubbles. My one improvement note is that there does not seem to be a concerted effort to get a kid to try new activities regularly so that it takes a very long time for them to progress from one level to the next. The plan, I was told, is that the teachers try new activities “when a kid seems ready,” but that seems subjective and self defeating. How can they be ready for something they have not ever seen?

Alexus C. is very patient with my 1 yr old daughter. If my daughter is crying, Alexus C. recommends another way to try to get her to calm down. Our 4 year old really enjoys going to his swim lessons. They make it a fun experience while also teaching them how to become comfortable with the water and swim. The instructors are patient and knowledgeable. They have plenty of convenient class times which is essential for a busy family. The facility is clean. The entire staff seem to be a well oiled machine which eases any anxiety I have about our kids learning how to swim.

My husband and I are very happy with our experience here so far! Our 13 month old son started lessons about a month ago and is already learning so much!! He gets excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot and has a lot of fun the entire time. He’s had a few different coaches (thank you Bryant, Michael and Alexus!) as we pinned down what schedule worked for us and they’ve all been great. His regular coach now is Katelyn and she does such a wonderful job with my son. She gives me good tips so I feel confident with him in the water and she knows when he’s ready to be challenged with a new skill without overwhelming him. Everybody I’ve interacted with has been so friendly and accommodating and you can tell they take safety very seriously. The front desk staff was so helpful when we enrolled our son in figuring out scheduling and finances. The app makes it super easy to reschedule lessons if needed and there’s a large selection of class availabilities so it’s easy to fit it into our schedule. Overall it’s been a wonderful bonding experience with our son, a comfort to know that he is learning how to be safe in the water, and such a joy to see him having so much fun learning new things!

The coaches did such a great job helping our daughter transition from lessons with us parents being in with her to her going in without us. I felt like some went above and beyond to help her be comfortable even taking her into an empty lane and working with her one on one. Katlyn and Ashley were two coaches she really took to and now she has Emily who is also great. There was one other that I never learned her name but we have been so grateful for everyone involved in helping her get more comfortable.

We simply love the coaches and the front desk staff. We’ve had many makeup classes and I can say with confidence that all the coaches are wonderful. However, coach Sam is our favorite! We go out of our way to ensure that my kiddos are enrolled in her class. They’ve made so much progress in the short time that we’ve been here at this school. Much more progress than when I paid for private individual lessons! The front desk is also so helpful and accommodating (thank you Denise)! The facilities are clean (I often see them mopping the floors) and plenty of comfortable seating. The app is a great way to check in, reschedule classes etc… I highly recommend this swim school to teach your children a life saving skill!

The classes are okay, but the only thing I don't like is that sometimes the couch is distracted looking people outside or thinking I don't know what and they do not see if the child in two seconds inhale water and then children get scared and they dont want to keep participaring.... I only say if the couch put more attention on what they are doing it would help all children more and give them a bettter experience and they will feel confortable and safe in each class...

I enjoy taking my baby to swim here. The coaches are great with my little one. We joined the infant swim classes and my baby is really enjoying the water. The coaches are informative and very kind. The infant class has cute songs to sing and helps with swim techniques. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.

I tried 3 other swim places for my kids before finding Aqua Tots and I can definitely say this place will teach your kids how to swim! I have noticed such an improvement in both of my kids swim skills since starting here. My kids are ages 2 and 4 and both of them look forward to swim class every week. Aqua Tots is the perfect balance of fun and skills. Another thing that I love is their app which makes it easy to manage your account and schedule any makeup classes. Perfect for busy moms! Grandson becoming more confident in the water and hopefully will go to next level next week. Wish instructor would work harder at getting him to next level. Don't feel one instructor can teach four kids and give each child enough training without children getting bored waiting for their turn. My granddaughter came for free lesson but did not want to return bc she felt bored waiting on her time for instruction bc their were 3 other kids. I think instructors need to push kids a little harder and not "baby" them .

Aqua tots has been key in helping my daughter to overcome the fear of water and learn the various aspects of swimming. Instructors there are really patient and take care to make sure that the kids are not scared. They make them feel playful with water and gradually makes sure that the kids overcome the fear and become expert in swimming. I specially recommend Coach Hannah.

My son had a dry drowning episode that made me wake up and sign him up for swim classes. Aqua-Tots has given him confidence and the proper skills to safely swim!
