I can’t say enough good things about Arin. I travel a lot for work and spend a lot of time in Pasadena so I figured I would get a trainer.

I’m really busy so I wanted to work with someone who was efficient and also not super talkative and chatty unless we need to be. Gym time is my quiet time for myself, so I really appreciate that in him. He has excellent programming (my butt has never looked so good!) and keeps it interesting with a variety of movements.

If I ever do have questions about Fitness, he usually has the answer. He also is pretty good about giving supplement recommendations if you want them, but doesn’t shove them down your throat.

He also doesn’t care about having a bunch of before and after pictures and is all about MY agenda, not his.

Totally recommend him!

I’ve been training with Arin for about 10 months. The results are real, and it’s fun, so it keeps me coming back. Arin is professional, patient, and explains things in depth.... makes weightlifting and fitness seem easy & seamless. Arin is the best. Would definitely recommend.

Wow! What a great trainer. I highly recommend Arin to anybody looking to not just get in shape, but learn more about their body. With his personalized training regime you'll be at your ideal body and have fun too! He's really great to talk about all things (not just weight training) and has a great attitude. His patience with you is one of his great qualities because he understand everybody's human and that it takes real commitment to get where you want to be. Check him out and definitely take his classes!

I've been training with Arin for about 8 months and I'm very pleased with the experience. Prior to working with him I did CrossFit 4-5x per week for about 4 years and then worked out at a boutique gym in DTLA for about a year. For me, Arin's greatest strength is his curiosity. He's a student of fitness with a great knowledge base that he's constantly adding to. Arin's workout programs are meticulously designed and based on the teachings of the best minds in fitness, like Charles Poliquin. While it's not cheap to have Arin train you, the old adage is true--you get what you pay for. Arin delivers.

Arin makes great workouts that are never boring and that get results. He is very patient as well - I recently broke my arm and he has given me some great and very creative workouts to keep me in shape while I recover.

I had a shoulder injury from playing tennis. It had gotten so bad that I had to stop for six weeks. Even then, the pain was such that I couldn’t serve nor could I hit groundstrokes effectively. While I went to see an orthopedist who indicated that no bones had been broken and who referred me to a physical therapist, the therapy offered was not very effective. Desperate to wanting to keep playing tennis, I went on the internet to find a physical trainer who has a background in helping recover from such injuries. The problem with trying to find someone is that you never know. While the internet and websites provide some better information than just the very old fashioned “referred by a friend" the problem is that the reviews generally run from “awesome” to “horrible” for the same person so how is one to know? The only answer is to try it out. I did with Arin because his website indicated that he has experience in helping with sports injuries and the gym he uses is close to me in location. I took twelve sessions, twice a week for six weeks in a private session. I probably didn’t need private sessions as even in semi-private sessions that I’ve observed, there is no more than two to three persons there; he had told me that but I wanted my first foray into training to be distraction free.

Arin was very careful in making sure that the exercises he told me to do did not exacerbate my shoulder problems. The workouts were not about weight lifting, although there is some of that, but rather about making the body muscles more flexible, increase their range of motion, and in turn, create a stronger body. The gym that he uses is straightforward, no sauna or showers but I didn’t need or want that. The key to the recovery was that he guided me in a non-judgmental and non-hectoring way to follow through on the various movements he showed me. He used Evernote to photograph some drills so that I could remember which ones to do and at what frequency.

It worked. After the sessions, I’ve used on my own what he taught me. My shoulder pain has gone away and my tennis game has gotten stronger because of both the flexibility and strength training. The key is consistency, something I did not do in the past. Nothing like a painful injury to remind you that preventive medicine is the best.

Arin has a solid process and methodology that gets you to actionable results. Don't expect to be lifting weights right out of the gate. Arin has a tried-and-true way of going about weight training, which requires the proper prep to build a solid foundation of stretching and activation to ensure you're fit for weight lifting. I have yet to strain or injure myself because of his expert teachings.

Arin is honest and straight forward through and through and does not try and upsell you on anything. My original intention was to only sign up for one 10-session package but, due to his organization and thoroughness, I ended up extending for 20 more sessions. I now have a personalized workout program that is tailored to my goals and needs (staying lean and fit, not big and bulky). I had always been a skeptic of personal trainers prior to meeting Arin but now I realize how critical they can be provided you find the right fit.

We highly recommend Arin Training! My teenage son started training with Arin last year. Arin has been a great influence and has helped him reach his goals. My son is a volleyball player, and Arin's training, though not sport-specific, has helped him improve as an athlete. The program includes a lot of stretching which has been very beneficial. My son says that Arin is always focused on strength and form. He also says that Arin is "very nice but knows how to push you to do your best." The experience has been excellent overall - my son looks forward to training with Arin every week.

Arin is, simply put, one of the best personal trainers around. He has totally changed how I think about fitness, and about wellbeing. He is generous with advice and insights into lifting and he has taught me a lot about diet, nutrition and sleep. His approach to your fitness will have you building muscle, losing weight and he"ll get rid of any lingering back pain. I've been working with him for over three years. When I started training with him I was in constant back and hip pain and now it's basically gone. Definitely work with him.

I met Arin ...5-6 years ago? My wife was looking for a trainer that she would feel comfortable around. I found Arin via whoknowswhatmethod back then (yelp?) and went to a few sessions. My wife was very happy, and soon I gave it a try. My experience was super fun and worth the money -I just didn't stay up on dedication and fell off the wagon. But that's not Arin's fault, and he never judged me or was condescending for my own failings. (It just took me a long time to pull my head out of my ass.) I can only imagine where I'd be if I had stuck with it.
I've recently been weight training on my own for the last year and a half, and I still use things that Arin taught me (kettlebells, proper eating, attention to form, researching stuff and avoiding the fitness bullshit). I would highly recommend him as a personal trainer.
