We couldn’t be happier. Our daughter started her lessons about a month ago, and she absolutely loves them. Master Andre is patient, fun, incredibly engaging, and humorous. He’s extremely talented and a very skilled teacher. We’re so grateful that we found such a wonderful place!

We’ve known Master Andre for over 5 years, and he has been an excellent coach and mentor for our son. He is always professional, treating both kids and parents like extended family, while at the same time making sure the kids train hard, stay disciplined, and have fun. Amazing place to train, especially if you want to focus on sport taekwondo. The traditional training is fantastic also. My favorite part is that this is a place where parents can train with their kids. My son and I have been training together for the past year here and highly recommend it.

Master Andre is a respectful in the Art of Taekwondo. A true master. He teaches what it means to have mental toughness, respect for your master/sensei/teachers and most importantly your Parents! and discipline which a lot of kids are lacking these days!! He is not your traditional master he wants the best out of all his students (child or adult) not to just produce black belts. Arise is built on Family one that we all trust and respect. Just read a review from 3mons ago, this is completely unacceptable. The master here has gone above and beyond for his students and the previous students of this dojo. Your son does not have trauma, he teaches them to be mentally strong. Because when it comes to fighting, your opponent will not be your size and or have better skills. So the student needs to know how to handle themselves in ANY situation. You as a PARENT should know this and understand!!! This blaint lie is not okay, he is a great master and a wonderful mentor to his students. My kids completely adore and respect thier master so much that we followed him to his new dojo. And he does not test every month that's a complete lie, and he does teach the kids their form. But the student should practice at home and the parent role is to make sure that they practice. To anyone who sees this come and experience the atmosphere and his teaching for yourself.

Don’t put your child in this place. It’s a waste of time and money. The master has a big mouth as a hell. He acts nice and get on his knees to beg so you can enroll your child . once you get trapped then he doesn’t teach anything and make your child a target for the big kids so he can run his shop. Don’t know what’s the mental healths of the other kids but they did bad to my child. One of the 17 or 18 years kid beat my son on purpose and the master didn’t stop him. We complaint master to stop putting them with my kids then he opens his big mouth as hell and disrespect us. He just running this shop guys. Please don’t ruined your child future. My son still not coming out of that trauma. I made a big mistake and wasted almost $ 5000 for nothing. He just keeps adding money every month for testing and other trashy stuff. Kids don’t know their forms. I feel like we just buying belts every month. He teach them bully not the self defense.

The trainer is absolutely wonderful and above and beyond respectful toward his students and parents. I was referred by a friend to take my child and see if he liked the idea in learning discipline, responsibility, respect and a very healthy environment on learning such a challenging and beautiful sport. This is the place to enroll your child/ren to learn and have fun. My respect to the teacher and I highly recommend him . You will not regret.

My name is Carmen Q, I highly recommend grand master Gilbert Dy as an instructor. He is friendly and very professional. Master Gilbert Dy is very attentive to all custumers and does a great job on teaching basic techniques, the classes are pretty organized and simple to follow. And if you are interested in losing some weight and learning some kickboxing techniques than this is your place to be. I got to admit that taking this class is so much better than going to the gym and doing a boring treadmill routine. In less than three Weeks I lost 11pounds its been an awesome workout for me and an awesome experience for trying out teakwondo for the first time. Thank you grand Master Gilbert Dy for this experience. I will and have been recommending people family and friends to come and experience his teachings. I myself plan on continuing going to this great establishment.
