And most importantly, and this can’t be repeated enough times, AFF seeks to steer those motivated to a fitter lifestyle that is to be enjoyed! What is enjoyable and produces results has the greatest probability of becoming permanent.

If you are looking for an exceptional personal trainer who is serious about training... who can also help with stretching, nutrition… and can somehow also make all of the hard work gratifying, I suggest you contact Art.
Art is a really good knowledgeable Personal Trainer, cares about his clients, and gets solid results.
He asks questions to get to know you… what you are currently doing, your history/goals, injuries and/or surgeries; then puts together a plan that will help you achieve your goals.
He checks in with you, observes your movement patterns to modify an exercise (if needed) and maximize your time training in the gym.
Art is able to motivate and help push you beyond what you think you are capable. I highly recommend you work with Art. Ask Art how he can help you in your fitness journey.

I don't write reviews... but this time it's different because Art is different!
He's intelligent and engaging and knows exactly how to get the best out of me during every workout.
Don't get me wrong, you need to do your part by showing up motivated to work. Art is not that trainer who is going to just kick back and count your reps while taking your cash. He's going to push you to be better, go harder, to lift more, to add more reps, to go deeper with that squat. I couldn't stand squats. Now I get it, you need squats to see results!
Art's passion for fitness extends beyond the gym and has challenged me to be the best version of myself by being accountable for what I choose to eat as well as focus on stretch and mobility.
Since working with Art I've seen actual results and my body transform into ways that I'd never thought I'd see into my mid-forties. I wouldn't be where I am without him, thank you Art!

I've been seeing Art for over two years with great results! I've had other trainers in the past that merely counted reps and moved plates around, without paying attention to what I needed. Not Art! He is fully focused on what your goals are, then motivates you to reach them! He is meticulous when it comes form and posture, so you know how to lift the right way and not get an injury. Hands down the best trainer I've had!

Training 2/x week with Art for the past two years which has been transformative!
Physically stronger and m-u-c-h more m-o-t-i-v-a-t-e-d by Art’s professionalism, knowledge and creativity in formulating workouts that are both fun and exceed my fitness objectives.
Extensive use of resistance bands in many new ways has been awesome along with free weights. Happy to credit Art with avoiding injuries with his focus on proper form while increasing strength and range of motion.
This translates into getting one’s ‘ass kicked’ in a smart way.
Have also benefitted from Art’s new offering of stretching sessions which is the perfect compliment to our workouts.

Art is the best! I have been experiencing issues with lack of flexibility and tight muscles. I've heard from friends he is excellent trainer. So when he started to offer stretching and flexibility therapy I decided to give it a shot. I've have had about 6 sessions to date and I've noticed a significant improvement! In fact, I started noticing an improve after the first session. He knows his stuff, which I appreciate. And he clearly LOVES what he does and it shows. In addition, he is a great conversationalist! I highly recommend Art! You won't be disappointed.

Art was the best trainer I have ever had. He always displayed professionalism, an upbeat attitude and positive approach, which made our sessions so much fun. Unfortunately I had to move back to Boston from San Diego. Even though I live in Boston, Art still checks in with me to this day. I've been working with Art now for 7 months and would highly recommend him as a trainer. Here are the things that make him unique from other trainers:
1: attention to safety and technique. I had several years of lifitng experience and several other trainers. Art has a keen eye and knowledge to make sure that you working the right muscle with the correct posture with out risk of injury
2. Art also knows how to motivate different clients. I share lessons with a friend and we have different personalities and goals. He is able to make it challenging for Both of us. He knows what makes us motivated and he also knows our limits and when not to push.
3. Art also gets to know his clients and forms a trusted bond of comraderie so you know that you're a team working towards a goal.
