I opened Ashley Lane, a fitness training studio, in 2012. I offer in person and zoom personal training & online training via my app: ALFitCrew (available in the app store). My passion is helping women become stronger & more confident in their bodies with home workouts that actually fit into their schedule. I have my: NASM CPT & CES, Corepower 200 hour yoga, & my Lagree Fitness certification.

STOP RIGHT HERE! Ashley is the trainer you've been searching for and the one who is going to help make a difference for you both physically and mentally about your fitness goals. Her gym is super clean and it has everything you need (including music and AC) for an exciting and well-rounded workout. And she's really good at mixing it up with each workout - it's never the same, boring routine. She tracks your progress and is always ready with a pre-planned workout when you arrive. She's super personable, very responsive on text and just an all-around nice person. Not quite feeling it when you arrive? She will lift your spirits and help you snap out of it - without you even knowing it! Yes, she is a little bit more expensive than some, but I'm here to tell you, you WILL get what you pay for - results and a fun time achieving them!

I cannot recommend Ashley Lane enough! I suffered from a herniated disc that left me feeling weak and unable to perform even basic daily activities. However, after working with Ashley , I feel stronger than ever before.
Ashley is extremely knowledgeable and always took the time to explain each exercise and how it would benefit me. She was patient, understanding, and always pushed me to achieve my best while keeping in mind my physical limitations.
Ashley designed a personalized training plan that focused on strength and flexibility exercises that were specifically tailored to my needs. She made sure to regularly check in with me to ensure that the plan was working and adjust it accordingly.
Thanks to Ashley's guidance, I was able to gradually increase my strength and endurance, and my pain levels decreased significantly. She helped me build confidence in my body's abilities and provided a safe and supportive environment to do so.

Nice and clean personal training studio. They also have other health practioners like personal trainer, massage therapist (Joanne is great!), and a skin/facial treatment room. Ashley, the owner, keep the place clean and tidy and is always accessible via text or email for any support questions.

Parking is free on the parking lot or on university and normal on the same side of the street.

Love love love Studio Lifted. It is such an uplifting and fun place to work out! Personal training with Ashley is always a blast - she kicks my butt each and every session, but it's so much fun that it always goes by fast. I have pain in my wrists which prevents me from putting much weight on them and she alters each workout/exercise to ensure I am pain free. I've even convinced my fiance to start training as well!

I highly recommend this studio for anyone, at any fitness level. It is a welcoming, non threatening environment, but at the same time Ashley really pushes you according to your fitness level. I look forward to every session! I also can't wait to try the massage, cupping, reiki and other new treatments being offered at the studio!

When I moved to San Diego, finding a gym to belong to was on top of my list of things to do. I tried several other gyms until I found Studio Lifted. I tried my first class and was addicted. Studio Lifted isn't like other gyms. The small group personal training class I tried was amazing. The instructor was so welcoming and energetic! The class only had 3 people which I loved! Large group classes I have tried in the past at other gyms I just felt like I was a number in the backround. This small personal training class was so much fun and kicked my ass! The instructor was so helpful and personable she really focused on me and my goals while still pushing me to my limits!! I haven't had an experience like this at a gym in awhile! I am so happy I found this place. I used to be so intimidated about the gym and weight lifting, not anymore! Thanks Studio Lifted!!

I have been to a few classes at this studio and absolutely love the energy of the instructors. My favorite class is 8AM spin with Rose! I can’t think of a better way to kick off my Sunday- as soon as we get going Rose motivates you to push yourself to your personal limit while still enjoying yourself. I am six months pregnant and feel like the classes here have been a saving grace for me. Obviously I can’t push as hard as the other students but I love the fact that their trainers are encouraging and motivating. Go check out this studio!!

Studio Lifted is a perfect combination of strength training, fun music, cardio spin, and amazing instructors. I have been to many studios where I avoid some instructors and only go to others, but I have never had a bad instructor at Studio Lifted. The studio is well maintained with good equipment and cleanliness as a priority. They are very accommodating with lockers and changing rooms. PLUS, I have been there during "rush hour" time and always have no issues finding a parking spot right away. I highly recommend this awesome studio!

Moved to the area and found this place! I am loving their spin classes (aka Revolution classes)! The teachers have such a great energy and really know how to motivate you and pump you up! Everyone that works there has such a great attitude and is super nice and supportive, which makes going here such a pleasant experience! They are super helpful and it makes all the students who come here also super nice and friendly! They really know how to cultivate a warm community of people who are all working towards their health! The best part of this is that they have awesome classes on Sunday mornings and afterwards you can just walk out and go to the Hillcrest Farmer's Market to stock up on healthy foods for the week!

Studio Lifted is hands down the best gym in San Diego. If you're looking for community, fun classes, variety, great instructors, friendly front desk, and personalized sessions then this place is for you. This studio is great. There's such a nice variety of classes they offer in a clean studio in an excellent location in Hillcrest. I have never felt judged which is a huge requirement for me for a gym.

I wish they had more classes times on the weekend but there are plenty of them during the week. Also the class sizes are small so that's good or bad. Lots of help when you need it but they fill up quickly.

Also, the parking lot is tight and fills up quickly.

I've been going to Studio Lifted formerly know as Ashley Lane fitness for about a year and they never disappoint. I really enjoy the Sculpt Cycle class with Jenna. It's a mixture of strength training and spin and is always challenging. Music is always on point and makes the cycling fun!

I started training at Studio Lifted in November (2017) and absolutely fell in love! I found the studio by coming to a Sweat in SD event that was hosted by SL. After that first Pulse class I knew I needed more! I signed up for their November studio challenge and continued to fall in love with their rigorous but enjoyable classes! The classes, like their instructors are awesome and unique! I’ve tried out: barrecycle (mix of 25 min barre and 25 min cycle), sculptcycle (mix of 25 min sculpt and 25 min cycle) , adrenaline (circuit training), pulse (intense lower and upper body workouts), SuperSculpt cycle (35 min sculpt and 35 min cycle) and yoga (calming at candlelight sessions, uplifting on Sunday afternoon sessions)!

I love each and every one of the instructors because they push you to your limits, are encouraging and motivating. They also always take the time to learn your name and give you encouraging shoutouts throughout the workout! The front desk is also amazing and are always there to welcome you in wholeheartedly! Love this studio and always recommend it to anyone looking for a change to be β€œlifted” πŸ˜‰β€οΈ

Studio lifted has been a life saver!! I have been a member for just over a year and have not been tempted to leave. First, the classes are upbeat and fun. I have a short attention span and I don’t get bored and always leave feeling stronger. I struggle with weight loss but with studio lifted and the guidance and motivation I have received, I have lost over 30 pounds. I had to leave my old gym after moving to a different part of town, and had a hard time finding a new spot that was a good mix of the types of classes that I like without being $200 a month. I love this place. I've tried probably every workout that's out there. Studio Lifted is the best, great music, instructors, workouts, and cleanliness. The instructors happiness is contagious, never a dull moment with Jenna, Kat, or Arliss. I haven't tried everyone yet but plan on it! You definitely get a hardcore workout from all hours of the day! All the people here are amazingly fit I'm already seeing a change at two weeks. I don't ever plan on quiting due to the encouragement of the lovely ladies of Studio Lifted! 😻 Worth all the sweat and burpees!

What isn't there to love about Ashley Lane Fitness? From the front desk staff warmly greeting you by name and remembering your spin shoe size, to the energetic instructors who constantly create new ways to challenge you, to the fellow members forging friendships, and to the owner Ashley fostering comraderie and healthy competition. When I moved to San Diego in September 2016, my priority was to find a studio in walking distance with a variety of classes. In a town full of studios focusing on one specific workout, I was thrilled to find ALF and their wide array of cardio, strength training, and yoga offerings throughout the day. Combo classes such as sculptcycle and barrecycle make an hour fly by while cross training. Monthly challenges bring students together, having fun both at the studio and around town, whether it's birthday celebrations or weekend hikes. While it would be nice to have some non-spin cardio options, there's no shortage of sweatastic opportunities and Ashley does an awesome job of tailoring the schedule to meet demand. With awesome membership benefits like spin shoes, towels (that always smell like fresh lavender), and yoga mats, all I ever need to do is show up since everything's provided. If you have exercise ADD like I do, there's no better place to push your limits!

UPDATE--

So they added a class called BarreCycle and it's killer. 25 minutes of spin + 25 minutes of ballet barre = entire lower body on FIRE!

They also added 5 extra spin bikes (total of 15 bikes now) because their classes have been selling out so much, so now there's more chances to get your grind on. This Studio just keeps getting better and better!!

LOVE this studio!! Everyone, especially the instructors, are super nice and the studio itself is so cute and clean. The instructors are very encouraging and positive, which I really appreciate.

I see Arliss for personal training and she is AMAZING. It's only been a month and already I am so impressed with the changes I am seeing in my body. I have learned so much from her, and I'm grateful how she's been so responsive whenever I have questions or concerns.

As for the group fitness classes, I have to say the spin classes are my absolute favorite! You spin in the dark (with black lights) and spin to the beats of fun songs (mixes of EDM, hip hop, etc).

Giving Ashley Lane Fitness 5 stars is an absolute no-brainer. Aside from the immaculate and state-of-the-art studio, the knowledgeable and fun instructors, and the convenient location, Ashley Lane Fitness has something even more important that is legitimately difficult to find in a sea of gyms: A sense of community. Ashley herself is personable, funny, and-- unlike so many other boutique gym owners-- PRESENT. Physically and emotionally. She remembers details about your life, checks in with you, and offers helpful feedback and motivation when appropriate.

The instructors at Ashley Lane Fitness love their jobs, and it shows. I've never taken a class there with someone I didn't like. I love how they incorporate spin into so many of their classes; it's a great way to mix up the hour of working out, and ensures that you can get your heart rate up there and also tone and strengthen.

One of my favorite things about Ashley Lane is how welcoming everyone is. People recognize you and are there to encourage you and keep you going, but not in a Crossfit-y, yell-y, stressful way. Just in more of a, "Hey, yeah, this is tough, but at least we're suffering together." It's really a great source of support.

The unlimited membership is worth every penny, but they also regularly run deals where you can get tremendous bang for your buck. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to up their fitness game!

Between the trainers and the other members at the gym, you get the motivation and encouragement to keep pushing yourself to be the healthiest version of you. Ashley is the best! When I first met her, she did a comprehensive evaluation of my starting point and my goals. She designed a meal plan and exercise routine that worked wonders! The meal plans were easy to follow, recipes were simple and surprisingly delicious!

Ashley is just a gem of a human being. She is always upbeat, encouraging, and super invested in your success. She always has time for questions and is readily able to adapt any aspect of your training to meet specific needs. I had a few injuries during my time with her and she always came up with creative and effective alternatives for exercises I could continue to do. She knows her stuff!

They listen to your desires and lifestyle so they can push you to be the best version of YOU. I have experienced a huge transformation in my classes here ranging from Yoga,Spin and Barre! My favorite part is that you can buy your FOOD here on a weekly basis. Meal planning takes time and I don't have much of that nor do I have the slightest clue as to how to portion each meal the best way. It's all custom to your diet and helps you accomplish getting any and all results you seek.

They honor people on Class Pass but if you want to book a class there is also an APP! Just look for Ashley Lane Fitness on your app store and create an account. It's easy and affordable once you're in the store you'll see the classes and retail items they have for you. Did you forget your shoes? No problem you can RENT them there! How about a bra strap malfunction? No stress, they have plenty of sports bras' on hand for those just in case moments or if you're like me..just to indulge. - they have men's t shirts too ;) -

I cannot recommend Ashley more enthusiastically! She is awesome. I started training with Ashley about 3 months ago when I finally stopped making excuses about being out of shape. As a former college athlete, I have been challenged to stay fit after college without the help of a coach or nutritionist. So I did some research on trainers in the San Diego area and chose to schedule a consultation with Ashley and afterward, signed on for regular sessions. Working with her has been the BEST decision I've made for myself in YEARS. She is knowledgable and versatile as well as upbeat and extremely motivating. I'm in better shape, I feel great, I'm more confident, and I've learned how to make fitness a big part of my life again, as well as completely change the way that I eat in a way that is healthy and still makes me happy. If you need motivation and looking to lose weight and tone up, ashley is your trainer. She is very knowledgable in both strength training and meal planning. I lost 25lb pounds last year and feel amazing! As a result my mom starting training and loves how much her strength has increased and brags about being the most fit amongst her friends that are all 65 and older. Ashley is everything I hoped for in a trainer! Let me start by saying I was a person who: A) never exercised regularly, B) hated exercise in general, and C) didn't really enjoy healthy foods. I am now a person who: A) gets antsy if I don't work out for a few days, B) looks forward to my training sessions, and C) views fruit as a treat. I've always been naturally thin but never in shape and with my wedding coming up I knew I needed to finally make a change. I was nervous to go to a trainer for the first time but Ashley immediately put me at ease. Not only is she extremely knowledgable and motivating, she's also just fun to be around and can somehow keep track of all my reps while still making me laugh or listening to some dumb story I'm telling her. Ashley is seriously the best! I hate working out on my own & if I didn’t do personal training, I would probably make excuses & not ever go the gym. I cannot recommend Ashley enough! She is super knowledgeable about strength training and nutrition. I am very happy with how she taught me to love lifting weights when before I hated it and could never force myself to do it! One of the main reasons I went to her is because I was concerned about how I had developed "knock-knees" as an adult, likely from sitting for so many years all day long as a student. Not only did I not like how it looked for vanity reasons, but it was giving me hip pain and I knew I'd have major problems down the road, and was already starting to. She taught me how to correct it by strengthening certain muscle groups and developing muscles that I never used before. I no longer have hip pain when I run which is amazing, and the difference cosmetically is visibly noticeable (I really wish I had some good before and after pictures!!!) She is so great if you are looking to tone up and lose weight of course, but also if you are looking to prevent injuries or strength train correctly and safely.

Ashley is amazing!! I have tried every workout regime, worked with countless trainers, and Ashley was the first person who was successful in helping me achieve my fitness goals. She has great energy and every workout is actually fun. She's was so dedicated and passionate about helping me reach my goals and knew exactly how to keep me motivated and interested. Not only did she kick my ass and make me sweat, but she designed personalized meal plans, and had tons of tips and tricks to help keep me on track.

I travel a lot for work, and that is usually when I have the hardest time keeping up with my workouts. She made a travel workout plan for me, and called me every day to make sure I was sticking to it.

Above all, she's a really down to earth, fun, and positive person. So I never felt self-conscious or insecure. Quite the opposite, actually. I've never felt better about myself and I have Ashley to thank.

I have trained with and taken many classes with Ashley. She is SUCH a motivator and always makes you feel so good about yourself and your workout, whether shes training you or just taking a class with you. She is extremely knowledgeable about the body and always has great tips and suggestions on how I can improve on the areas I have been working on. She has such a positive energy and that translates to making working out really fun.

Not only is she a great workout trainer and friend, that girl can cook! She makes healthy food look and taste amazing with her meal ideas.

I reached out to Ashley to book a private bootcamp for a friend and I while we were visiting San Diego for the weekend - we both love a good workout! Ashley responded immediately to my email and went above and beyond to work with our schedule. She had a fun and challenge workout planned that had us smiling from start to finish. She is meticulous about form and was very knowledgable about sports physiology and nutrition.
