I love this place, feels like home! There is a variety of classes that AG studio is offering and you can always find the right one for you. I am taking classes with Aukai and Ryan, and it’s always so much fun, work and relax at the same time ☺️

It was my first time ever taking any kind of dance class, and the team at Athletic Garage made it such a great experience! The instructor was super friendly, patient, and made me feel completely comfortable even as a total beginner. The energy in the studio is amazing — fun, welcoming, and positive. I left smiling and already can’t wait to come back!

This is the place that I first went for dance classes. Aukai and Chris pushed me to become a better dancer. That helped me come out in the WNBA halftime show LA SPARKS. Also the owner of this studio is a great person. All around this dance studio you’ll be surprise it’s a gem and more people need to come. I love you all from BODACIOUS

What an amazing studio. I finally tried a fitness class with Sandy the owner for core conditioning and stretching. This was my first workout class after months of not working out (which scared me that I chose core conditioning) but I am SO glad I did it. It’s really such a blessing that you can take a class straight from the owner of athletic garage who truly looks out for the needs of everyone in the class. She tells you to check in with yourself and decide how many reps you should do or not do, and she explains every move and why we do it thoroughly. It wasn’t just focusing on the core but on your butt, legs, and arms since everything works together. I highly recommend this awesome studio that cares about your body, your needs, and also pushes you! Also, another plus is that they have so much parking available!

I visited a beginners salsa class. It’s actually quite hard class. I used to go Granada and in there they can make dance literally anyone. And here I felt difficulties. As well not so much parking spots outside. Good thing the teacher is from Spain, so she has good vibes.

A lovely studio which a great selection of a variety of classes which are affordable and simple to sign up for. Large spacious studios with a great environment for learning and choreography. They also stay up to date with their social media about classes and changes which I appreciate. Also always great to see how the other classes are.

My only criticism is that the classes are only an hour long, unlike most other dance classes which are 1.5. It doesn’t give much time to learn a choreography and to solidify it by the time people start showing up for the next class. I’ve taken a few different classes and each time the lesson was rushed and the instructor is flustered at the end to finish up. While the students are just getting the hang of it. I would recommend longer classes because this studio is a real gem in Pasadena.

Great experience. I've taken contemporary and intermediate tap so far. The instructors are talented and capable, and the vibe of the studio is chill and welcoming. I much prefer environments like this over the competitive/high-pressure vibes at other LA drop-in studios

My first home! I’m so happy to have a place I can train AND let go. If you have the chance to come train in Samba, do it! Each studio is different and has a little charm to it. I really enjoy the masterclasses and workshops that happen in the warehouse studio. What’s better than dancing in a such an open, airy space?

this place consistently is playing music well past 10 PM weekly. its beyond noise quiet time for the neighborhood surrounding. it wouldn’t be an issue if we couldn’t hear it blocks away but we can.

They guy that answered the phone was incredibly rude. Well first off, He did not have any information or knowledge of this dance facility. He was very short and gave off the impression he didn't want to talk in the first place.

Great resource for a range of dancers and wanna-be dancers. Nice facilities, diverse mix of classes snd legit dance instructors. My kids enjoy taking classes there.

I brought my daughter here, who has never danced before. She is 13 and wanted to take a hip hop class. The person at the desk recommended that she try the kid's class first. So we went into the class, which had already started. They were just warming up. The teacher didn't acknowledge my daughter or say hello or any other kind of welcoming gesture. We found the experience awkward and my daughter felt very uncomfortable. It would have been nice if the teacher, at some point, could have just walked up and said hi and introduced herself, maybe even go so far as to ask my daughter's name??? The class was okay in terms of content and the teacher seemed to know what she was doing, but being welcoming to new people and making kid's feel comfortable would go a long way toward's making it a better experience. For this reason, we won't be back.
