I had my daughters 7th birthday party at Athletic Horizons recently and did not have the experience we were hoping for. The party included two staff members to "run" the party. The staff were very unfriendly and acted as if we were a burden the entire party. They seemed very unhappy to be there. Very minimal interaction with the children or the parents the majority of the party but when they did interact they were extremely short with no personality, one parent even described one of them as rude to the kids. Shocking to be working with kids when its very apparent that kids bother you. The gym was silent but when asked if they would turn on music they stated it was on, just turned down, and they will turn it up when the kids are on the gym floor only, not when they were eating pizza. The kids were limited the entire party on where they could be and what they could play on, restricted to the "toddler area" for half of the party when the guests were 7-9 years old. They were only allowed "open gym" to play for the last 5 minutes of the party which gave them access to the whole gym. I feel like for this age group, they should have had access to the whole gym the entire party. Very unfortunate because the gym had so much potential to be an awesome bday party spot. I would not recommend booking your bday party here.

From the moment we walked into the building the women at the desk were very rude. We didn't stay for the class because everyone had such a bad attitude and were so hostile about my child wearing a mask.

I have been coming to open gym Adult night for 10 years! This place is AMAZING...100% love...I trained here, on my own, to work in Hollywood and I did work as a Union Actor for 4 years...the facility is 2nd to none! Anyone who wants to train for Martial Arts, Dance, Theater, Sports or just plain old fun needs to come here and Play!

My young daughter (5yo now) has been attending gymnastics classes at Athletic Horizons for over a year. The instructors are kind and efficient. The facilities are in great shape. The place is filled with positive, youthful energy.

My daughter has benefited greatly from attending these classes. Athletic Horizons has helped her gymnastic ability, as well as her social skills and her emotional maturity, grow by leaps and bounds.

Their "customer service" is just fine. About once a month I interact with them to pay the fees. I'm not sure what else there is to "service". If you're thinking of trialing gymnastics for your young child, I can't recommend Athletic Horizons highly enough. As far as I know, one and all can treat themselves to a free trial.

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in Chico. Despite the fact that the instructors are great, the rest is just a disaster. Reception area is lacking customer service skills, and basic "being nice" skills, which scares customers away. I have witnessed a few "unhappy" customers at the front desk in the past, who were treated very rudely.
It's almost impossible to get a hold of the manager of Athletic horizons. In the past, it took me about 2 phone calls,an email, and 1.5 weeks to here back from them.
We've have been going to Athletic Horizons for few years now. And this is where we stop. I will not pay the place that treats their customers poorly, rudely. Simply unacceptable.
Any business should know the first rule to be successful: Customer Service!!!
