I'm so lucky I came across Ray at Awareness Training. The mobility exercises and ELDOA stretch were out of this world! Better results than chiropractic or massage without the pain during or soreness afterwards. I'm over 40 years old and I feel better than I ever have after a private training with Ray. Been dealing with back and hip problems for some time now. I'm fairly active and have always stuck to my usual stretches and massage therapy when things get really stiff but after one session with Ray my body felt more elongated, aligned and he sent me home with some new stretches that I'll be working into my everyday routine. Coach Ray Truly Cares

Working with Coach Ray Martinez has been an absolute game-changer for me. Not only did his awareness training open my eyes to patterns I didn’t even realize were holding me back, but he also helped me with some serious physical pain I’d been dealing with for a long time, such as back pain, hip pain, and neck pain (to name a few).

He introduced me to the ELDOA method, and I was honestly blown away by how effective it was. After just a few sessions, I noticed a real difference. The exercises are simple but powerful, and Ray made sure I understood exactly how to do them correctly for my body.

I recently attended a Myo Massage class with Ray and Marcella, and it was a game-changer! I first met Ray at a team meeting, and when he mentioned that he helps people with pain, I was immediately intrigued. As a professional organizer, my work involves a lot of lifting, twisting, and long hours of sitting, so I was eager to learn how their approach could help strengthen my body and relieve tension.

What I loved most about the class was the combination of massage and Myo stretches—it was unlike anything I had experienced before. I left feeling stronger, longer, and with noticeably reduced muscle stiffness. The mix of hands-on techniques and guided movement made such a difference!

One thing that truly set this class apart was how transformative it was in just one session. I’ve been struggling with bloating and feeling like my body was inflamed, despite my efforts to exercise and lose weight. But after Marcella worked on my stomach, I woke up the next day feeling noticeably lighter—and my stomach was flat! The expertise of both Ray and Marcella made this experience so powerful.

I also loved the intimate setting of the class. It didn’t feel like a typical workout; it felt like a self-care session designed to help my body function better. I left feeling energized and more connected to my body. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Raymond’s reset classes, truly a relaxing and needed class. Raymond catered to the areas of concern which are hips, shoulders and overall posture. I work on my computer all day and he went over in detail how to stretch each muscle and how to work on it on my own. If you’ve been sore, tight, or overall need a body reset then I definitely recommend taking his classes. Ray is super knowledgeable and thorough. He understood my concern with my body even though I did not have enough knowledge or words to describe the stiffness and tightness I have been experiencing in my thigh/hip area. As I was going through diff parts of the exercise, I was screaming in my head "exactly! This is exactly what I needed!" I left that session with my body feeling so much better. I also love that you did not have to prepare much, such as socks, mat, right type of clothing, etc, just come as you are!

Ray has been invaluable in helping me get back to "normal" after surgery on my achilles tendon. I needed help with some postural issues and an exaggerated anterior pelvic tilt. First of all, Ray is probably the nicest person I have ever met. He is professional, kind and very responsive to feedback. Coach Ray has done personal training with both my husband and I as a joint session, and individual (for about 1 -1 1/2 years-online during COVID). Ray is naturally intuitive, sensitive, and mostly accommodating. Although, we were active adults most of our lives, we fell into a pattern of minimal exercise and eating somewhat healthy but not as consistent in our late 50's-60's). This pattern caught up with us as we aged and now we were met with medical health concerns. Instead of forcing a "do this, do that" regimented approach, Ray allows us to design a flexible program that focuses on our current needs day by day. Ray continues to educate and train himself in methods of meditation, stretching, cardio, and weight training. He teaches clients to listen to themselves and relay the information to him on a continual basis. This allows him to meet our needs and continue to train at the current level. Movement, breathing, stretching, cardio is all good as long as we show up and are present wherever we are at at that moment. Ray shows up at that moment! Love ya Ray!!

When I met Ray I was at a crossroads. I had worked over 30 years as a chiropractor helping other people, while doing a lot of martial arts and cycling. All of this had taken a toll on my whole body. I was stiff and in pain all day, every day. I was shrinking in height and starting to feel weaker and unsteady in balance. I no longer wanted to be friends with myself!

I knew that once I retired, I could just rest, give up being active and put my body out to pasture like they do an old horse. Instead, I decided to trust Ray and to be held accountable. That meant admitting that, as much wisdom as I had earned in my 61 years so far, I did not know everything, or even practice everything I know!

Ray used a detailed assessment process to design a program of corrective stretches and exercises for me. He continued to monitor and modify the program every few days to make sure that I could progress without hurting myself. I did not feel judged about the state I was in, as he has a calm and caring way about him.

Three months later, I am waking up excited every day to see what I can do, physically. I can go run, hike and cycle without “paying for it” the following day. I have regained 1/2” of height so far. A long season of brain fog is lifting, so I can read and concentrate better too.

To me, there is nothing more important than investing in good health. When I am at my best, I have so much more to give to others. Thank you, Ray, for what you have done for me and my family.
