THIS is what I’m looking for when I want a wellness day!! Owner Tessa was so sweet and really took her time giving me a tour of the space and all the different offerings. All of the treatments are fantastic, but I especially liked the compression therapy and lymphatic roller machine. Finished off my time with sauna and a cold plunge and felt absolutely amazing after. Can’t wait to come back with friends for another day of rejuvenation!

I just wrapped up an incredible wellness retreat in Bali with Bare Health, and it was an experience I’ll never forget! Each day was thoughtfully designed to promote relaxation, growth, and healing, with a powerful mix of meditation, yoga, sound baths, breath work, and inspiring sessions with local shamans. The atmosphere fostered deep self-connection and truly honored Bali’s beautiful culture and traditions.
The highlights were unforgettable: a transformative temple water purification ceremony, a profound sound healing sessions at the Pyramids of Chi, a scenic boat day, a rich local coffee tasting, and an enchanting walk through the monkey forest. In addition to personal training, I attended the wellness retreat in Bali with Tessa, which was truly transformative. The retreat had a holistic approach to health with a perfect balance of workouts, activities, meditation, and spiritual healing. The immersion in Balinese cuisine and culture added an amazingly unique dimension. The vegan offerings were not only delicious but also contributed to the overall well-being. I didn’t know I could feel so satiated and satisfied on a vegan diet; it was really inspiring to continue to eat more plant based. The serene surroundings and expert guidance by Tessa and her local team made this retreat a rejuvenating escape. Tessa planned daily activities and excursions that I wouldn’t have experienced traveling on my own, including a day on a private boat to snorkel and swim with manta rays! Which are HUGE! I was invited to join along on a retreat to Bali with Tessa & Bare Health at the recommendation of my mom. I had no expectations but knew the experience was going to be immersive in modalities I had never experienced. Without a hesitation in my mind, I would recommended anyone to go on a retreat with Tessa, as she created an all immersive, spiritual, fun, exciting, and healing trip for each individual person. These retreats are a great window to explore a new environments, relax, and find joy in allowing someone to take you on a journey that focus on your personal health in a supportive group setting. I just went on a retreat to Bali with Tessa & Bare Health at the recommendation of a friend. I went into the experience totally blind and unsure what to expect - I just knew I really want to go to Bali! And I am so glad I did! The experience was so well cultivated and Tessa created the perfect well rounded schedule to ensure a little bit of everything was seen and done! Bare Health is an amazing gym with great trainers, AND an incredible wellness retreat facilitator. I went on their Bali Wellness Retreat (October 2023) and it was the experience of a lifetime. Tessa and Matt do an incredible job hosting and if you want to unplug, recharge and reconnect with yourself and others, then sign up for their retreat! They plan and organize everything for you so you can just show up and truly relax. From daily yoga, sound healing, visiting rice paddys, massages and snorkeling with manta rays, there is something for everyone on a Bare Health retreat. And the FOOD is incredible.

I have now been on 2 Bali retreats with Tessa & Bare Health.
I have had nothing but the most incredible experiences both times.
This most recent retreat was focused on health, wellness and spiritual/healing and of course fun!
Being able to meet new friends and bond over a shared experience is truly wonderful.
Tessa is very involved, professional and dedicated to everyone having the best experience possible. Not to mention her fitness/health knowledge and daily encouragement.
I highly reccomneded BareHealth retreats if you are looking for adventure, wellness and connection with like minded people.

Matt is a really great trainer and I enjoyed my weekly sessions with him while I was going to culinary school. He pushed me to up my game and in turn I got stronger and had more energy. I would highly recommend selecting Matt as your personal trainer. The studio is really nice as well.

Go here!! Me and my fiancée have been training with Tessa since September '22. After we got engaged, looking for a personal trainer was our first order of business. We started with a postural assessment with Matt. It was great because we had our baseline documented. Through that gave us custom stretches and warm-ups to correct existing issues we had. Tessa has been an absolutely amazing trainer! Not only is she fun to be around, but she actively checks in and is highly motivating. In the past 9 months of being trained with Tessa, our body aches are gone, we have collectively lost over 9% body fat, and above all, our self confidence has never been higher. We feel like we not only have found a health and fitness home but also a community of great people we enjoy being around. Could not recommend this gym more!

As a college athlete I’m used to cupping and have had it done too many times to count. Tessa honestly has cupped my whole better than I have ever experienced. I left feeling like a new person and am definitely going to go as frequently as I can. If I could give this experience 6/5 stars I would.

I’ve tried to start a fitness journey so many times in the past by going into the gym and “working out” without a plan and it was just inconsistent. I always gave up and tried again the next year and sure enough, quit.
I started my journey at Bare Health in Feb of 2023 with the help of Tessa, Matt (owners) and my PT, Carla.
They’ve taught me that a fitness journey isn’t just about working out, it’s about self-care, stretches, cupping, and diet. I’ve been on their nutritional diet since I started, and I’m never looking back. I’m never hungry, less tired and overall, happy. Then I started to add workouts with the help of my trainer, Carla. With having a great diet and a great workout plan, I’ve never felt and look better!
A couple weeks ago, I ran into an issue where I hurt my shoulder. It caused me to take time off of work and it was so painful. Tessa approached with the idea of cupping therapy to release the muscle spasm and the pain was gone within 2 hours of receiving the cupping. It’s really opened my mind to cupping therapy!
I’m so happy and grateful to know these amazing people who truly care for the best interest of all clients at Bare Health. If you’ve been stuck in a fitness journey rut, go check out Bare Health. Last June I went to Bare Health for Postural Training due to my tight hips. I recently have been suffering from Piriformis syndrome. I did the Postural exercises they taught me 1-2 times a day and my symptoms were relieved within 5 days! I am grateful for these exercises as it helped tremendously. I even went to the doctor and showed her my Bare Health exercise papers, she said they look great and to continue doing them. Thank you Tessa and Teal for your awesome care and service!!

Bare Health has been a really great experience for my husband and me! We attend Carla's bootcamp 3 times a week, and she does a wonderful job of tailoring our stretches and exercises to fit our injuries and needs. She keeps careful notes about our progress, and is able to remark on our development over the past several months. Armando also provides a ton of help and guidance for us while we're there. Bare Health has been a really great addition to our Napa lives, and at $20 a session for bootcamp -- an affordable one too!

Having just given birth a few weeks ago, I was looking for a place that could help me regain my strength and balance in a safe and nurturing environment, especially given some upcoming active travels that I have planned and wanted to partake in to the fullest of my abilities.
When I first walked into Bare Health, I was warmly welcomed by Armando and Tessa, who began my session with a postural assessment. I've never had something like this done before, and was amazed at how precisely they were able to determine which areas of my body needed fine-tuning. Once my work-up was complete, Armando and Tessa demonstrated a series of exercises based off what my body needed and watched me closely as I mirrored them, ensuring that my body was kept in full alignment throughout. Given this was the first exercise I had done since 37 weeks pregnant, I was amazed (and proud of myself!) that I was able to complete the program fully!! Tessa walked me through some strengthening and cardio exercises, which took me to my edge but in a satisfying and safe way.
All exercises and stretches were emailed to me afterwards, so I am looking to using these as a baseline and continue my training at home to begin to build up my strength and stamina that I had pre-baby.
I highly recommend Bare Health for anyone that is looking to feel better, stronger and healthier with a personal touch. The intimate environment made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my session and Armando and Tessa were incredibly knowledgeable and wonderful throughout.

I am so grateful for Matt, Tessa, Teal, Armando and the whole team at Bare Health. Going to the gym is like going to see family - without any family stress! Everyone is so upbeat and supportive - they've made a huge difference in my life. They are amazing trainers with mega experience not just in weight training but ergonomics, body work, nutrition, etc - and they are amazing people as well. Big hearted, truly devoted to their clients' health. Most gym experiences are pretty impersonal - here they are holistically oriented and super personalized - they really care about and address you as a whole. Both Tessa and Matt truly care for each client and it's noticeable in the fact that not only do they check in often to see how you're doing with your training but they never bring you down because you only went once or twice a week to do your workout plan. Bare Health absolutely changed my life! With their constant support, coaching, and advice I was able to loose 50 lbs. Tessa Mini (the owner) is the only person I have ever met who 1) can convince me to do things like a 6 mile jog and 2) make me laugh and enjoy myself the whole way. Bare Health is not intimidating, like many other gyms can be, so I found myself excited to head in for bootcamps or personal training sessions (which I should note were different every single time). Having someone (or an amazing group of people) care just as much about your health and progress as you do was the defining factor in my weight loss. I didn't know what a difference Bare Health would make in my life. A year later and I have lost over 40 lbs and gained so much. Mentally i have gained confidence and have been able to deal with challenges in my personal life that would have sent me straight to emotional eating in the past. Now I work out my problems in the gym and leave it there. With all the negativity in the world, this is my safe space. I am greeted each visit with love and encouragement from Tessa and Matt and from the other clients. We are like a little fitness family. I was scared to start a gym because I haven't taken care of myself in over 8 years. So I was scared of the judgement and pity looks from others. But it is truly a great place without judgement. When i veer off plan, there is some tough love and conversations to help me get back on my course to success. They are dedicated trainers and I love working out here.
