As a BASI student and pilates enthusiast, I have the best classes, feel the most out of my workouts, and learn the most when I go to BASI headquarters for classes. I highly recommend for anyone looking to deepen their practice. The focus on precision and proper movement is unlike any other pilates training. I also appreciate the emphasis on continuous learning. My instructor had her own private session with Stella that I was able to observe and it made the corrections I experienced in her class all the more important seeing her be corrected and improve her own practice. I live in Folsom, California, and a prospective pilates teacher in BASI Eldorado Hills Studio. The Open Studio on July 12th was a great experience. The space was welcoming and well organized. I used the mat, reformer, and briefly the F2 chair. Stella, Jackie, Jodi, and Karina were all supportive, even while teaching their own classes. I left feeling really motivated. I just wish there were more Open Studio days available.

Basi Pilates. I'm so glad I made the drive out to the OC and equally glad that I did a private with Stella. The entire team was supportive and excited to see me trying it for the first time. Today was my first Mat Pilates Class . . . and it was awesome, challenging, yet totally ‘doable’!!! It was a very welcoming environment - Stella, the Instructor taking time to chat with me prior to class when I first came into the building. I was a little early for my Mat Class, so got to observe instructors working with individuals on pieces of equipment.
Stella and Jody, my new friend who invited me - who happens to train Basi Instructors gave me modifications that made it possible to keep up, yet be safe as a newbie. I felt competent and had fun. I left with an experiential understanding of how important alignment and gentle movements with full breathing is quite-the-workout, as well as good for overall well-being and flexibility. Each woman who’d been taking the class for some period of time had shapely muscles and remarkable strength. There was laughter intertwined with a seriously great workout!!! The first lesson is Complimentary ~ FREE ~ No Charge!! Try It!!! You’ve got nothing to lose and a great program to gain! SOOOoooo glad I attended!!

I feel incredibly fortunate to have visited BASI, the global headquarters for Pilates. I randomly booked a session with one of their instructors through their website, and to my surprise, I found their teaching skills to be consistently professional and outstanding. Among the various styles I've tried, BASI has become my favorite system!

The atmosphere at this school is exceptional. Even with the founder still actively teaching and providing guidance to on-site instructors, the sense of community and support is truly heartwarming. Mr. Real and Stella are exceptionally welcoming, and my instructor, Tram, embodies patience, professionalism, and love in her teaching approach.
