Very nice gymnastics but very poor in communication. They often host events during class times and cancel the classes.

I brought my daughter here for 5+ years, and while some of the teachers were great, others seem to have no interest in their job and spend class time watching the clock. I prefer to spend my money on classes where my child develops her skill, instead of running around playing. Unfortunately your child’s success here depends greatly on who they’re assigned to.

My son, who is 4 years old is with ninja 4 program in bay aerials , he started enjoying gymnastics only because of coach Karina, shout out to her cause she has some unique skills of gaining attention from kids on performing gymnastics.
Kids in her batch are very focussed and well behaved.
I recommend coach Karina and coach Julia and coach Jared. I have seen Julia and Jared substitute the batch love the energy and motivation from these coaches.
Thank you for your dedicated efforts and lots of love from Rayden( your student).

We decided to stop sending my daughter to this place after more than 2 years here. She started here since beginner white and now she is at intermediate green. We are very depressed with followings:
1. Receptionists - are very rude since day1 and I have been neglecting them as long as my daugher is ok and happy there during her practice time. They don't really care the customers. Whenever you have questions, they will not answer nicely and instead will ask you to send the email. I always felt I got their "I don't care" kind of attitude and face.
2. Coaches - they don't have enough good coaches especially when your kids reach to higher level. My daughter experienced the coach kept changing when she gets to green level. Coaches are not proactively communicating regarding the progress. All they do is once in a while updating the skill chart and you will never know when and how.
They will change your coach only with few day prior communication by email.
3. Makeup - they recently changed their makeup policy and which seems not fair to customer. No makeup when your kid sick or absence is by your false.
4. Recent skill chart update - My daughter is practicing at green more than a year and she was at 84% to complete green. They update her skill chart to 27% recently and we only got 1 email said they raised the bar to input skillchart. Is my daughter need to spend one more year at green which she already did 1 yr with 84%? I can only think that they are trying to dig $ from me as much as possible by changing skill chart criteria and putting my daughter down to 27% to be at green more longer. They don't even communicate in advance about skill chart criteria changes. The email came only a while after I found out the skill chart % changed/dropped.
We know and accept that not everywhere is 100% perfect. We try to understand receptionist attitude, unstable coach.. we closed our eyes for unfair markup policy. But now their recent skill chart update put not only myself but also my daughter down and lost our trust on this gymnastics place.

Greedy management. Regularly hiking the fee and changing policies in their favor to make more money or save their expenses. Recently stopped offering make-up lessons for sick kids. On Thursday(8/29) evening they sent an email out of the blue saying classes have been cancelled for 5 days including that day and no make-ups will be offered. They are the only institute in the entire bay area I'm aware of charging annual (recurring) $45 membership fee, despite charging the monthly fee.

We used to love this place, but unfortunately, it’s been going downhill very fast this year. First, they stopped doing make-up classes for the kids which is ridiculous because they have 2Y-5Y kids and you make such decisions when money-making becomes your priority, and not helping upskill the kids. When they stopped the make-up classes, the communications were out that they would let the kids do make up classes, if their class fell on a long weekend. That said, with the long weekend this Monday, they made a self-decision to close the place down from Thursday, August 29th - Monday, September 2nd. The kids who are to miss their classes on Thursday and Friday (which doesn’t fall on a long weekend) are not offered make-up classes, but the establishment surely expects you to pay in-full for the entire month. I recommend looking at other places which are more inclusive of parents feedback, and actually invested into developing your kids.

My daughter has been taking Ninjas class here fir a year and I am going to cancel her class. 1. They no longer offer makeup class. 2. The current instructor for my daughter’s class are acting like a babysitter, not an instructor. He doesn’t provide any guidance/advice to his students.

Facility is really. big and nice. Instructors are ok, you have to find the correct one. Uncleaned toilets. Worst part is the service. If they cancel the class, very less option to accomodate in another class. Even if we do in advance, on the last day they claim its reserved for another child and without our fault the class is missed. Very bad service.

Some of the teachers need training on how to talk to children. It’s only my daughters second week and she finished the class nearly in tears because of a sub teacher who clearly had no patience for children. Not only did she talk down to my kid, but during the whole 45 minutes of class she looked aloof and like she couldn’t wait for it to be over. When instructing, she grabbed my daughter by the arm and reprimanded her. These girls are only 4 years old. The way she was instructing was appropriate for way older kids, but not little kids. She was barking orders at them and not demonstrating how to do a thing.
Later on, some of the girls were confused and the sub was staring off into space, not noticing them wandering off into other sections. My daughter had to be put back into her section by another attentive teacher. Really upset by this experience.
It sucks because my daughter loves her original teacher but if they call out sick you could get someone who could care less about the kids experience. I will be pulling her out once the month is up. I’d rather spend more money to take her to another studio

My kid has joined the Sweat Pea Programs for half a year up to now. He’s having a total blast!
All the coaches that we have interacted with are super professional and fun, namely Coach Tiffany. Most importantly, they know how to communicate with kids.
Roman, Persia and Jasmine at the front desk are really patient and helpful with all the registration processes and scheduling questions.
I’d strongly recommend this place for toddlers’ parents who are exploring sports for their children.

Overall, I'm happy with Bay Aerials. The staff are nice and energetic and the kids have fun. I wish there were more accessible seating for disabled parents/guardians and that changes to make-up and attendance policies were better communicated in advance.

Fremont Location TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I have taken my son to this place for a little bit over a year now. I never thought I would write down this VERY DISAPPOINTING experience with their MANAGER today. Me and the other parent were called in to stay with the kid ALL THE TIME because they can't keep them "running around" in class. She was pretty much dictating us to stay in the class instead of giving instructions to teach the kid how to do the activities. They use ONLY one instructor to teach many kids they can't handle. Then the manager came to tell me to put my son to TWO YEAR old class. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? -Your solution to teach and educate a 3 year old is to align them with young ones? I can't believe what she is thinking.
I've never seen this manager's face before. How can you come to us and tell us what you want us to do without even asking our feedback?? NOT EVEN ONCE. WE'VE BEEN THERE OVER ONE YEAR. How do this place hire someone who doesn't qualify to be a manager? NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS AT ALL. NOT RESPECTFUL. NON SENSE.
Let's talk about their teaching skills...
Their strategy to keep the kids focused is using bubbles. When the instructor took the kid to the corner that you can't physically see. I saw it on the screen that the instructor just sit there with the kid playing bubbles. I PAID for you to play bubbles with my kid??????
NOT even want to put down one star for her and the ninja class instructor.

$37 per 50 min class, including time for roll calls and water breaks, with class sizes of 5-7 kids on average, and as many as 10 kids, is quite steep. Students spend majority of class time waiting for their turns. The coaches rarely teach anything. They are only there to supervise. The students are only told what to do, but hardly get any instructions and corrections. We try to sign up for small sized classes, but even if some classes show many openings on the website, we are often surprised with an overly crowed class because there are always some kids doing makeups or trials. I’m sorry to say that I think it’s a waste of time and money. It’s fine that the classes are run like this, but the price doesn’t match.

We’re new to the Bay Aerials in Fremont. I have no idea how to do the registration and select classes for my kids. I just sent email to Bay Aerials email address expecting a very slow reply. However, surprisingly, Roman, replied me very quickly and he helped me to schedule the trial classes for my kids. However, we had to change the schedule because my kids had some other activities during that time. So, I had to ask for Roman’s help to reschedule the classes a few times. Every time, he was very enthusiastic and wanted to find the proper time for us. He always tries to find the most convenient time for my kids to make my time easy. When the schedule changes, he sends me email to notify the change. Very clear. From my observation, Roman loves his job and makes an effort to let parents have a convenient time picking up their kids. In these days, I rarely see young people like him having passion to work indigently and happily. Sometimes we even ignore that our working style matters. I am surprised by his attitude and working style. Hopefully this can encourage you and me and also maybe for the future Roman himself. I Really appreciate it!

I only take my kid to the open sweet peas once in 08/12, but they charge my credit card without my permission for 8/5 and 8/19, I called them immediately and get void of the charge, but no sorry in the whole process, the front desk keep asking me why they charge me if I didn’t register, who knows! Either your staff fraud or your facility’s cheating. This gym need to change the front desk person or irresponsible staff, charge credit card without customer’s permission is stealing. Anyone who attend this gym need to be aware.

I have enrolled my daughter for gymnastics in Bay Aerial and she enjoyed a lot on day 1. She is waiting for next gymnastics class. Coach Karina T has been assigned to my daughter and she is very helpful, attentive and makes sure students are comfortable. I would recommend this place for kids. It's 50 minutes class every week. There is approximately 147$ monthly gymnastics fees and 45$ annual registration. They have small store as well for costumes if someone interested in buying from there.

My daughter loves her coach and the classes here. However the receptionist (Chinese lady) has been rude multiple times and today was a needle that broke the camel’s back when she yelled at me. Please do something about it: retrain her to have better customer service because her attitude is inappropriate and makes Bay Aerials Gymnastics look bad.
Update: the gym owner reached out to me via email and informed me that she is implementing a nicer approach on customer care & service. Which I appreciate so much because kindness matters always.

My kid was sick and missed 3 classes. There is no flexibility in scheduling the make up classes in a week. Only slot available is 7:30 pm every Friday.
They don't have policy to hold for 1 month. If the kid is sick or want to go for vacation, the only option is to cancel.
I am disappointed with the policies which are not fair with kids and parents.

Unfortunately due to the ongoing service I've received through email and in person from the front desk lady, I've had to cancel my kids classes. She is not friendly. My kids love the classes but Its unfortunate that bay ariel gives parents the work of scheduling a make up class that's "available" according to their website then only to receive another email saying it shows full on their end. It's also odd that front desk cant simply help with rescheduling over the phone/in person to have it settle then and there but to have this ongoing pursuit.

I hate to write this, but it has been hit or miss for us at this location. My kids participated in separate classes for fun. The front desk person was not very nice in all of our interactions. They also seem to struggle with communications. They will write to me from info@ and then tell me to write back to info@. Apparently, replying to emails doesn't work for them. It's a weird way to manage communications. I know that supporting customers can be challenging especially now. They are exempt from the rules and just ended one of our classes due to low attendance with a few days' notice. We however are held to a month of notice and I know that these are strange times, but canceling with a few days notice without a good solution is a jerk move. The instructors were nice for the most part except for one that was really mean and condescending. We just never felt valued as a customer, so the way that they let us go was very fitting.

The teachers there are great with the kids, price is good. Th owners and front desk staff our unfriendly and unhelpful. Since they own the business and you are the first people you see every time you walk in the door I would think you would have a liitle more friendly and professional staff upfront greeting customers. When working with children this is important. There holiday show is horribly put on and absolutely dreadful. I even had to pay for this. I would recommend for them to really look into a btter way to put th holiday show on considering it costs for your child to be in there and you have to pay to buy tickets to enter.
