Pretty pricey initiation fee, but the amenities, equipment and facilities available at this club are high standard, high quality and aiming for a club/gym experience that is par excellence. *Very* comfy chairs, great computing area with super fast wifi, and even their very own Bay Club Starbucks on-site in the same building.

Was away on business a few months and was considering upgrading to the family plan. After all the difficulties encountered, I wonβt be going back. In spite of my loyalty over the years, they opted to try to charge me 5 times more than what I was previously paying for childcare. Very upsetting that (a) thatβs how they treat loyal members and (b) their business plan relies on exploiting moms. This gym has little office spaces and a Starbucks and a decent class schedule. Hot tub and steam room but no pool. Childcare is ok. But donβt expect them to care if you leave or not. Iβll likely be going to Forma. Sometimes a longer drive is better to support a nicer business.

I had a horrible customer service from Starbucks in Bay Club Cupertino. People, who are working at Starbucks in Bay Club Cupertino, are also Bay Club employees not Starbucks. I usually like general Starbucks services from other Starbucks. But this Starbucks was worst. I think Bay Club should learn how to train their employees to provide good services for members who pay a lot of money for best services. Or it might be because Bay Club is not well paying for their employees while they are making a lot of money from their customers. Good customer services are attracting more customers, which results more revenue for Bay Club.

Initially I thought this is a good fitness club except quite expensive. Until I encounter a personally injury caused by bay club facility and see through the irresponsible and unfairness of bay club management team.

You know, this place is quite good for everything, but the personnel is... ah, something? I just recently became a member through a family member, and every single, and I repeat, every single day Iβve been held at the lobby for more than 15-20 minutes a day, trying to sign in, with the staff staring at me confused for the entire duration, unable to either find me, find my logins, etc. I love this place, hence me paying $300 dollars a month for it. But if youβre expecting an ounce of competence from the staff of an expensive franchise, youβre out of luck. Even the simplest of things become absolute hell for you during the first weeks of your membership. Good luck.

Hey I am not a member, but WOW WHAT A LOUNGE: IT'S USED FOR happy conversations, business meetings, homework and birthday cakes. I am totally impressed. I even had the chance to see one of the young ladies take care of a table that lost a screw: good job!!

Different than your average health/fitness center, Bay Club Cupertino tries to balance family-oriented life experience leaning towards high-tech young professionals with a clean, modern interior. This is not your typical workout gym but rather more of a "lifestyle" center including diverse options such as studio classes, swimming, but also meeting rooms, TV viewing rooms, cafe, etc.

I had a membership problem, but the manager, Jennifer, helped me fix it asap. Her staff are trained better than many gyms. Also, the gym, spa, showers, and amenities are great. The sales manager, Greg, is helpful and responsive. The main negative is that the lounge cafe gets packed with loud students after school since even non-members can use that area.

It's a scam. When you sign up they say it's month to month but it's not.they keep your credit card in file and after I cancelled my membership, Without sending me any bill or email or notification they charged me for 3 months. They refused to give my money back. When I said I cancelled my membership they asked for the cancellation number which no one mentioned it when I was cancelling my membership. They could have charged my credit card on the first month for the "delayed bill" but they waited for 3 months to charge me triple. I'm not happy with this gym at all. It's clean but it should be because they have all the extra money that they have from robbing people to pay for extra cleaning staff.

BE AWARE, SCAM BUSINESS
When you sign up, they told you it is a month-to-month membership and it is NOT an autopay. However they will keep your credit card information on file and charge you even after you cancel your membership without providing any billing statement.
I was charged for 6 consecutive month, a total of over $1,000. They refuse to refund me because they "claim" they didn't receive a "written" cancellation notice.

Awesome place to work out! Would highly recommend. Everyone is really friendly, the facilities are clean and the gym itself is very well maintained. I was visiting Cupertino and sooo happy that I decided to check out the Bay Club, if I lived close by I would join up and make it my regular work out place.

Great club to work out at! The fitness area is not crowded at all, which I love!
The reason for the 3 stars is- well, the women's wet area. It's absolutely gorgeous and clean but I'm not sure about the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi left a terrible smell on ny skin, which made me immediately showered after. Poor hygiene... it's definitely made me decide not to become a member here. The jacuzzi is a major key, after my workout, shower and then I like to loosen the muscles in the jacuzzi. There's definitely something in the water folks!
The steam and sauna rooms are spacious!

Great place to workout, hangout, and work. Very spacious so I don't feel claustrophobic like other gyms that I've been too (cough, Cupertino sport center).
People here are very friendly and down to earth especially the instructors here. Here are the list of my recommendations of the classes that they offer
Tuesday: Pilates with Karen Kim
She is very knowledgeable and funny, she makes sure you have the correct form and posture, which is a PLUS because the only way to prevent sport injury and get the outcome you want is to have a great form down. Interesting side note her mom(in her 90s) can do plank for a full minute- AMAZING right ?
Thursday: Cycling with Tricia Severietti
She bring so much energy and motivation that there is no way you are going to stop paddling, always has the best playlist to cycle with
Friday: Yoga with Nick Fortino
He has a super soothing and calming voice that if you take ambien to help you sleep at night, there is no need anymore just come to his class. Very knowledgeable and informative class, again posture is BIG in yoga, and he takes time to explain using both the scientific explanation and the average Joe version to get his points across. I never really enjoy Yoga until I went to his class because I am been going to the wrong place the whole time.
Saturday: Yoga with Larry Munoz
He walks around to fix postures and form, which is a plus again especially for yoga. I think yoga needs constant fine tuning until you can get it right and Larry does a great job on assisting student to reach that point. Side track here: I think he is very handsome, look so much like George Clooney. He is the type that as he age, the more handsome he gets ( It could be from yoga - Wilde guess here )
Sunday: Athletic Conditioning with Alex Anders
There is nothing better than to burn all that bad chi out with an intense cardio session with Alex on Sunday. Here is a quick routine breakdown
1. squat jumps with resistance
2. high knees with resistance
3. side squats with resistance
4. alligator with gliders
5. TRX
6. stair masters
7. abs

The Bay Club is pretty awesome, but mostly because of my trainer Matthew Ryan Carney!
If you are looking to recover from an injury, train for a specific event, or just increase your fitness, I highly recommend him. He is really great about tailoring workouts to your specific goals and needs.
He helped me recover from a hip flexor injury in time for my trip to Yosemite. I was not getting the results I wanted from physical therapy and am so glad I found Matthew through my sister who was already training with him at Bay Club. I went from having acute hip flexor pain and limping every time I did over 3 miles of activity to pain free after the 8.5+ miles of the ascent to Half Dome. I really thought that I was not going to be able to summit due to my injury and was so happy that I was able to make it to the top and back down!! If you enjoy Pilates, you should definitely go see him for some hardcore or rehabilitative reformer training!
