It has gotten more expensive, but it has also gotten better since Bay Club took it over. The only downside might be that they may price themselves out of my price range, but so far, so good.

Having lived in Novato for six years, I was always interested in joining Rolling Hills. When my extended family recently moved into town, we signed up for the Flex Plan, and it has been one of the best decisions. Iβve been focused on my weight loss journey(25 lbs down), and the morning classesβespecially Dashβare incredibly motivating. The coachesβ attention to form has made a noticeable difference, and the culture of camaraderie keeps me coming back. After just two months, Iβm already seeing results.

The towels are disgusting. Although the staff has been advised and higher upβs informed, the company continues to provide towels that look like they have not been cleaned. According to some staff members, the company does not use detergent or bleach.

Steer clear of this place if you are disabled or visually impaired! I have never been discriminated against like I have here at the Bay Club. Iβm wondering, are all of the staff members trained to discriminate? Because thatβs what I experienced: from dealing with the front desk, membership and even their kids club, I have never felt so βother,β and βless than,β in any situation, ever, in my entire life. Itβs a real shame because their pools are great and I would benefit using their facility. Itβs not even about the money, itβs principle, because being treated like I donβt belong, makes it not worth it.

It used to be a nice place. 6 months ago new management closed the large pool without any notice, discount or apology and established half-day swimming lessons for kids in the smaller (18+) pool. As a result, each label has up to 6 people crammed into it. Swimming club indeed. Not a peep
about when the pool will be back. Not a single soul working on it. Prices went up twice since then..

Since the bay club took over Rolling hills this location has gone down hill. It costs more as they increased their rates and the service has degraded. Their maintenance program is poor. Their communication after making suggestions /complaints is non-existent. They do not appear to care about customer satisfaction. We have had female cleaners in the men's locker room, benches removed from the men's locker room (no place to sit), Flooding in the men's locker room for weeks, Consistently running out of towels, the Old floor mats were removed from locker rooms and from the showers and new ones put in.... But laughably the new ones you need to wear a pair of boots to stand on them because they belong in a fish processing plant not in a shower. (very hard on the feet), Soap and conditioner containers went empty and when they were filled they were filed the wrong way. (soap was in the conditioner and conditioner in the soap dispenser) We now have a collage of super bright and cold lights amongst the warm lights in the fitness room... hard on the eyes and looks pretty trashy. The men's sauna has been broken down for week and a 1/2.... Now the pool heater is out.... One pool is under construction not available... No visible work being done on it. Just an overall poor maintenance program. The bright side is the front desk people are awesome. If you're looking for a fitness center I would look elsewhere until Management Gets in touch with its customers. They are very company focused and not customer focused. I used to enjoy a tea or a coffee after my workout... they're stopping that now as well...

Surely they can find a nicer "grandma" to greet you as you enter. Janet would be better suited for the IRS or throwback Catholic boarding school!
Outdoor workout area is a good idea.
Should all parts of the club accessible to members, rather than locking us out of some of the equipment.

They raised my membership rate twice within a year with little notice exactly what they said they were not going to do. Then when I try to end Iβm locked in to paying a very high monthly for another 30 days.

The Corporate Bay Club has ruined this community club: dirty, poor service, amenities not working, large fee increase. Membership cancelled.

Selling to the Bay Club was a big mistake. The employees are being treated poorly, the child care has been cut in half and the fees for a family has increased by $100. So sad.

Fantastic Club - so much to offer to enhance your life - FUN and fitness. The group exercise program is terriffic, and Alice Dow, instructor and group fitness manager, does a great job running it all and teaching classes. She offers many special events, too that engage members and helps to build community.

I feel like I'm on vacation when I'm there, even if I'm working out. Lovely pools, indoor/outdoor spin classes, basketball court, racquet ball and tennis if that's your thing. And I still have money in the bank because the cost is very reasonable for what there's to offer.

Such a gem! My family and I have had such an excellent experience at Rolling Hills so far. Kevin, Corleen and the members have made us feel right at home from the start. The reservation system for both the pools and tennis is so helpful, and they seem to be doing a great job making sure everyone is feeling safe during this crazy time. So glad to have found it!

Our go to for exercise, community and a local get away - we donβt know what weβd do without Rolling Hills Club. Their reservation system had made exercise during these times doable and consistent. Thank you Rolling Hills for providing classes and environment that allow us to take care of ourselves and that provides some normalcy and hope in our daily lives.

Home Sweet Home, the only place I missed during Shelter in Place (COVID-19). This place is way more than a gym...something about it, I just walk in and I feel like Iβm in shape. Just like every toothbrush isnβt the same, every gym isnβt the same. Iβve been a member of many gyms and this one and the staff offer soooo much more. I look forward to the events they create to come back...they have done a phenomenal job in opening back up as allowed, making it very safe and more sterile than my home. For me, RHC is essential (even if iβm not exercising although in this current phase, itβs all we can do) and itβs a Wonderful Life at RHC

A members of Rolling Hills for over 40 years, we've seen a number of generations of families delight in the facilities and family-oriented environment at Rolling Hills. The current owners, the Domonts, have taken the club to a new level of care and hospitality.

So a friend invited me to get a guest pass here. And when she first told me about it, I thought the almost $250.00 monthly price was a little high considering they don't have a restaurant on the premises (they do have like a food station which has very good food on a limited menu for about the prices you expect in Marin). They have what looks like a wonderful gym and 2 hours of free child care if you sign up early enough to get a slot. The toddler area looked pretty fun (although I did not bring my kid.)They have multiple pools and a playground next to the kids pool. The staff was very very nice. But I only got to go and hang out with my friends in the locker room as we got ready for an event because I misunderstood and didn't realize that's all they were doing. And then I never got to go back in my 7-day pass, and I emailed to see if we could extend my guest pass and never received a response. So I can't give it five stars because I really just experienced the locker room mirror (which is my fault). And now I don't want to join them because I don't really know if I like them and I didn't hear back. Then again I am not Marin-rich, and if I was I would probably join them.

I'm waiting for RHC to adopt a swimming pool only option for members, they have full memberships or tennis memberships. It's expensive, but my doctor prescribed aquatics for pain management, so, I have no other choice in Novato. The aquatics staff are all well trained and friendly.

Its the only real "club" in Novato instead of just a Gym. They have over 15 nice tennis courts, racket ball, full free weight and machine gym, tons of cardio machines, and best of all, a $25,000 Pilates gym with round the clock public and private classes. If you don't do Pilates, you have no idea how incredibly it is as it sculpts your body while giving you cardio work like running or biking. After a few months, if you were not a fat ass, you start looking like a gymnast. Finally, because its a club, they have several awesome spaces you can have business and private events with profession AV equipment for presentations or fun. Novato is kind of in the sticks but this place is by far the best club for the money. Forget 24 hour fitness etc. This is again by far the best GYM in northern Marin. Just wish it was not so expensive at $200 a month. I was told they could discount our monthly fee's but so far, nobody has budged.

This place rocks its clean and has a relaxing atmosphere for a gym. I normally get all my workouts done early in the morning when not very many people are there. Weekends can be a tad crowded but you can still work around the crowd.
