Great club with beautiful amenities in the city but major turn off seeing influencers film and PDA and then it posted online against the club policy (because rules don’t apply to them).
So while a pricey tag there are other options that might still have gym influencers but less off putting.

Two stars why not because of the club itself great place to work out if that’s what you only want. It’s the staff while more were friendly and helpful Jim I would say was awesome it only took one person for me to cancel my membership that was Nicole Byers who’s the manager don’t know how she got into the position being rude and forceful

The fall of Bay Club cannot be understated.
The gym itself is actually quite nice and has a ton of amenities. However, the bathroom situation has fallen into disrepair. The showers are no longer cleaned intermittently throughout the day, and so if you get there any time in the afternoon / evening they are nearly unusable. It is not uncommon for showers to smell like urine, and I recently saw feces stuck on the shower drain filter.
The locker room is littered with dirty towels all over the ground (which isn’t really the Bay Club’s fault if patrons can’t pick up after themselves, but it is their problem). Combined with the skyrocketing membership rates leading to an over-crowded gym and facilities, and it’s getting quite unbearable.
Most people I know are considering churning to Equinox or Fitness SF.
Bay Club, please raise your rates a bit and have someone clean the showers throughout the day 🙏.

Reduce the number of tours to add members and instead focus on enhancing amenities for the current paying members — starting with more towels and cleaner facilities

- Towel shelves empty every visit
- Many lockers are broken, and there aren’t enough available for members
- Mold is present inside cabinets
- Locker room needs more thorough and consistent cleaning
- Locker room ventilation feels unhealthy
- Renovations appear incomplete, with only half the facility addressed

welcoming and well-equipped.
This club is in an older, multi-story building, which gives it a special charm. Although the layout has many twists and turns, I enjoy exploring and finding new areas each time I visit. The staff is friendly and always available to help, which makes my experience even better.
The facilities are excellent. Swimmers can use two large indoor pools. If you enjoy racquet sports, there are squash courts. There is also a full-sized basketball gym, two separate cardio rooms with various machines, and a great weight room with a wide selection of free weights and resistance equipment.
My favorite feature is the rooftop workout area. On sunny days, the views are stunning. They have turned the roof into a fantastic outdoor space with cardio machines, free weights, and a large area of artificial turf for functional workouts. It’s a nice way to enjoy the fresh air while training.
Overall, the Bay Club at Greenwich is a great premium health club with many amenities. Its variety of offerings and supportive atmosphere make it a perfect fit for different fitness goals.

Walking into the Bay Club feels great… until the gym playlist kicks in. It’s like someone asked…what do recently divorced yoga moms and guys who vape CBD want to hear while fake jogging on a treadmill?
I forgot my headphones today and instantly regretted it. Feels like im working out in a closing lululemon store. pls hire a dj or j play generic techno 🙏

I had a great time today at the Bay Club on Greenwich Street in San Francisco. I was met by Tyler who gave me a tour and showed me all the amenities. This place is more than a gym. They have so much that you will just check it out for yourself. I liked that it was so clean. There are wide open spaces. It was not over crowded. I was impressed with the lounge that has self serve smoothies and the compression room. They have many personal trainers that exceed your expectations. The basket ball court is nice. Everyone enjoys hanging out there pre and post workout. People who are serious about fitness go there. It was a good mix of ages. Genders. People that go there are clean and respectful. Kudos to the manager for having patience with me and for running a good space. As soon as my schedule settles down., I plan on membership.

The price dictates a level of professionalism that is not exhibited among staff, which is very disappointing.
Members with an issue they wish to discuss are treated like complainers and “Karen’s”, rather than with respect and the assumption of positive intent.
Amenities are difficult to access.
Ask yourself if you would like to pay $335/month to wait 30 minutes for an amenity that no one is using (no really, all four machines were unused and open) because of a “scheduling system”.
Ask yourself if you would like teenagers to keep you from using an amenity because they didn’t ask for your name and you forgot to provide it to them prior to sitting down on a bench to wait for said amenity.
If you, like me, think that being treated with dignity and respect is important then this may not be the place for you.
That being said, they have put a lot of effort into the renovations which are very very nice. The gym is spacious, open, and there is enough equipment for the members now that renovations are done.
You will be pleasantly surprised with the amount of space and different areas you can use.
The locker rooms are very nice, clean, and the lockers come with built in keypad locks which is handy.
It comes down to who you want to interact with for the price you pay. If the answer is that you are ok dealing with disrespectful teenagers for $335/month then you will find the equipment you need. If you would prefer to not revisit high school bullying then perhaps another gym would be best.

I took a tour with Paris today and she was great. She spent a lot of time walking me through the club and explaining how to use all of the wellness and recovery items so that I can maximize my use of the facilities. She did a very thorough body scan and analysis of my fitness goals. I have tried out a few different Equinox locations previously and have never had anything close to such a personalized experience. I can't wait to come back and start training!

December 2024 Dirty (not upscale!), not safe (content in locker is not safe), random facility closure, short business hours esp weekends, rude service, on top of it all, every year once you are locked in, membership goes up by 30%. There is a massive exodus to better gyms in the city and beyond. What a shame, it used to be a good, friendly, community gym!

Had a frustrating experience at the San Francisco Bay Club that I feel compelled to share. My husband and I arrived slightly late for our appointment due to walking instead of driving during rush hour. We had emailed in advance to inform them of our situation.
As soon as we walked in, we found Aaron, a sales representative who was anything but welcoming. Instead of greeting us with kindness, he responded with sarcasm about my husband visiting many locations – which felt unnecessary and rude. To top it off, when my husband realized he forgot his ID, Aaron flatly rejected us entry without any effort to accommodate or assist, despite the fact that this was my first visit. (Even the front desk lady said it was ok.)
I hope the management takes note of this behavior, as it seriously tarnished our impression of the club. Customer service should be a priority, and Aaron's demeanor was far from what one would expect in a welcoming environment. I hope to see improvements in the future for the sake of potential new members.

Very expensive gym for mediocre amenities!
It has so much potential but management tends to ignore customer complaints. They don't inform you if the pool heating is broken (which happened multiple times in the recent past), and still expect you to pay the full fee for unusable amenities. They're often out of robes (60% of the time, I tracked), which means you have to walk half-naked from the ladies locker room to the pool all the way past the squash courts and the fitness rooms. Lots of other issues like dusty locker rooms, unclean spas, and missing toiletries. I wish they would either right size the fees, or fix all their recurring issues.

Be really careful and keep records of all payments and statements with the Bay Club. They overcharged my pod an extra month, and are trying to send me to debt collections. Never joined Bay Club. Dirtiest facilities I’ve ever seen and the people who work there will stalk you to try to get you to join.
Toured multiple locations. Locker rooms were terribly unhygienic. Mold growing on the walls, hair everywhere on the floor, cracked floors and walls.
The only interesting feature at this location was a spacious rooftop turf. The actual layout at this location is awful. They’re going through a renovation but even the fully renovated locations (like the financial district Bay Club) were unfinished. For example, the walls in the ladies’ locker rooms at one location didn’t even touch the ceiling…? Perhaps this chain has more renovations to do across all locations before they’re ready to serve guests.
Sales managers wouldn’t stop calling me for 2 months after I toured. They even found me on LinkedIn and looked me up online. I had to block emails, phone calls, and deactivate my LinkedIn to prevent any further contact.
I’ll be sticking with Equinox for the long term, which is only $315 compared to the $400 membership at Bay Club.

I was a member a long time ago and every once in a while I go and think about rejoining. They brand themselves as a luxury club, but then cut corners everywhere and are more of a mass market club that's not worth the premium price. Easy example is that the locker room is between 78 and 83 degrees. It's too bad b/c the facilities are awesome and I'd like to re-join, I'm just turned off for one reason or another every time I go.

All in all it's a fine gym. The amenities, class offerings and the roof space are nice. The cleanliness needs to be improved between the dirt/ hair/ dust around the space and other gym members not cleaning up after themselves. I also wish the equipment was nicer. The monthly cost is a lot compared to other gyms in the area and with that, I wish the equipment was better functioning and less dated. The locker rooms are much improved with the recent updates, but I am hoping there is more to come.

Not member friendly. It's basically a cash-grab scam.
Rates have been increased multiple times this year alone. When I signed, my rate was $255. It has gone up several times to now be $320 for myself. The "additional" members' costs went from +$90 to +$130. It's no wonder people have chosen to move to memberships with a full 6 people instead of our not-full one.
I've been a member for a couple years, but over time the other members on my shared membership have left to join more full memberships and pay less. If you're an "additional" member, you can choose to leave your membership or cancel up until the 25th, or at least that's what the last person I was sharing my membership was told. We switched her account on the 11th.
The cancellation process is convoluted. I went in person and was told it has to be done on the app. I do it on the app and they tell me to wait for an email. I fill out the email and they tell me to wait for ANOTHER email. The final email posts with a reminder that it isn't actually a 30-day notice. It's a full calendar month, so I called in to explain my situation and the membership team member I spoke to callously told me I'm "on the hook" (her exact wording) until November 1st. On the hook? Really? The only option she provided was to force my friend to REjoin my membership for another month and then cancel together if I couldn't pay the fees myself.

I’ve been a member at Bay Club SF for a while now, and I’ve run into some issues that I’ve tried to bring to the staff’s attention, including the manager Todd Williams. Unfortunately, despite raising these concerns multiple times over the past few months, I haven’t heard back from anyone. It’s frustrating to be ignored, especially when the issues are important. I expected better from a place like this. I’ve escalated this to the club’s CEO, Matthew Stevens, and we’ll see if this finally gets resolved.

Management has increased prices by $60 since I joined less than a year ago, with planned increases of $20 every 6 months for the foreseeable future.
Meanwhile, the gym's hours have shrunk, and employees close facilities early (including the roof -- which houses roughly half the gym's equipment -- closing in the late afternoon / broad daylight, sometimes inexplicably over 1.5 hours before close, as well as certain locker room facilities). I worked at a gym once upon a time and understand that it takes time to close facilities, but this is not acceptable when hours are already so slim, and patrons are paying $300-400+ to come here.
No meaningful updates have been made to the gym floor despite the price hikes.

Nice gym. Nice amenities. Horrible customer service. They are very sneaky about increasing dues and have increased dues twice over the last years, by 15%. They rarely pick up the phone and never respond to voicemails. I like the gym, but it seems like they're just stripping all costs and increasing their prices to make as much money as possible, which is letting the customer experience slide.

Update: They raised our membership price 5 months ago and just raised it AGAIN without warning 😭 Meanwhile locker room and fitness floor upgrades that have been promised for months are nowhere to be seen....
Bay Club raised our membership price without properly notifying us - they snuck the rate increase in the December newsletter but did NOT actually let us know our rates were increasing…. who even reads the newsletter? They’re also trying to make the yoga class additional $40, which is far more than any yoga studio drop in in San Francisco. I really love this gym but it feels like they’re trying to squeeze members for more money and aren’t truly prioritizing member experience or community.
If they raise rates again our membership will likely move to Equinox instead given the amenities are more updated and there’s access to more locations nationally.

Not only the worst gym, but the worst business I have have ever encountered in my life. Lack of available equipment and quality amenities for the price is the least of your worries. Increasing family plan membership pricing without warning or consent (and confusing our group to make us think that we were paying for something else so that we would consent to payment--fraudulent behavior). It was like pulling teeth to quit. No phones answered, no emails answered (contacted 4 general managers). We tried to speak with people in person, but couldn't get anyone to help. Poorly run, with incompetent staff. Likely that they can’t staff the manager’s positions in the club due to weakening finances based on the conditions around the desk and facilities. I suggest joining quite literally any other gym in the city.

I grew up in the Bay Area. The bay club was always a prestigious brand known for its hospitality and high quality service & amenities. My girlfriend & I signed up two months ago, and I was excited to join.
Now, we have sinus infections from the sauna and steam room. I haven’t seen them clean either once. When I asked the front desk if they document when they clean them, she said no. Not only is the entire facility extremely over crowded, it’s outright disgusting. Just smell the steam room. They aren’t even trying.
Shame on ownership. Shame on management. Your money grubbing strategy may have squeezed some cash out of membership in the short term, but you’ve lost us all long term, and ruined an incredible local brand.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment in both the Bay Club and its Management. First, I am an executive member of +10 years of history with the Bay Club in SF and I’m canceling my membership because this gym doesn’t live up anymore to the standards I’m paying. They have introduced a shared membership where a group of “roommates” can share the cost of one membership so they pay a lot less than a single membership. This has caused the gym to get over crowded by members paying way less than what I pay, but they get all the same benefits and features, all while the cost of my single user membership has gone up to $335 per month. I’m using the same overrun facility and paying so much more. I tried to use the 8 person sauna over the last few weeks and lately it is packed with 12-14 people standing, making it an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. The cleanliness of the gym overall is not as good as it once was either. Workout space is not good based on the number of members. There aren’t enough benches for example, 1 flat bench press in the whole indoor gym… this is Worse than 24 Hour fitness. I’m also disappointed because I asked the membership executives to give me a fair option to pay what everyone else is paying as a single member and instead of thanking me for my loyalty and finding a way to fix the situation they instead recommended that “the best thing to do is cancel and check back in the future”.
After 10 years of being a premium member I feel very unappreciated. I asked if I could suspend my membership (which they should definitely allow for such loyal members) but the gym supposedly doesn’t allow this option anymore. So after over a decade of being a loyal and high paying member of the Bay Club I am leaving. The Bay Club has shown its colors that it doesn’t value its loyal members and dismisses them with poor customer service and attitude, no matter how long you’ve been a member or how much you pay. The new shared membership brings a new kind of crowd that is pushing out the loyal members and damaging the quality of the experience. I have brought guests in who are members at Equinox for less money and they said my Bay Club is “a dump” compared to theirs.

I have been a member on and off for over 2 decades. The club has gone way down hill and I would be embarrassed to bring a guest to the Bay Club at Greenwich Street. The women's locker room is filthy and worn down. There are big hair clumps in the shower drains, dirty floor tiles, filthy hot tub tiles, and worn out grout in the sinks. The exercise equipment is dirty, and my recent guest commented how run down and dirty the club was. I have written to management to attempt to communicate the cleanliness issues, but it has actually gotten worse over time.
They have gotten rid of many of the nice amenities the club used to have. They removed the nice sandwich/salad/smoothie bar and replaced it with an uninviting smoothie robot. They bought cheap ikea furniture with ugly faux leather chairs to replace the more comfortable furniture in the lounge areas. They downgraded and removed most of the spa facility.
They have changed the membership model to cheap 5 person memberships, so usage has increased - with lots of young people - all on their cell phones in the locker rooms. The staffing levels have seemingly gone down. When I first joined in the late 90s, I was escaping a crowded and dirty 24 hour fitness. Now I have to escape the overcrowded dirty Bay Club. This place used to be a premier nice clean club with lots of amenities, but no more.

Do you like nice lobbies, suana's and steam rooms, carpeted floors, and fancy locker rooms? If so, the Bay Club SF is most definitely for you. Do you like organized and functional gyms? Well, you could find a better one almost anywhere else.
The Bay Club (or at least, this SF location) does not have it's priorities in order. Dumbells are often disorganized or just plain missing. You have to go to the front desk to locate basic things like weight belts and ab wheels, and even then, they sometimes do not know where certain equipment is. Some pull up bars and squat racks are rickety, and many foam grips on machines really worn out or slip and slide along the bars. This may seem like I'm nit picking, but collectively, these things become super annoying, especially when patrons pay over $200 a month to access this gym.

This is a ticking time bomb for the next private equity owner. I used to love this place but the shared memberships have completely destroyed the experience. The current PE owner is clearly cutting costs, spiking revenue through unsustainable shared membership growth, which is making the member experience here decline rapidly. Everything from access / parking , how crowded it is , a worsening food experience, the declining service and facilities- it’s clearly being primed to look good on a financial statement but is going massively downhill from an experience perspective. Eventually growth will slow or hit a capacity ceiling, churn will occur, and they will lose their most important clients. Going down market like this was a bad overcorrection from COVID. Bay club should be the high end brand and experience in SF (and monetize as such), and it should have been an obvious strategic decision to go this direction and not the opposite

Well, well, well, look who finally made it to the Bay Club on Greenwich! Let me tell you, this place is fancy pants. The staff is so friendly, I felt like I was at a family reunion (minus the awkward hugs). And let's talk about clean, it's like they have a cleaning army that never sleeps. The indoor spaces are so large you could probably fit a small country in here.
But, the real highlight is the yoga studio - it's amazing, although they could turn up the heat a bit, my toes were freezing! And don't even get me started on the two swimming pools, sauna, and steam room - it's like I died and went to fitness heaven.
Now, I have to be honest, this place is definitely for the more conservative, stable, and wealthy crowd. It's like a city-based country club. And most of the members are older, so if you're looking for a hip, culturally relevant crowd, Equinox or Crunch might be more your scene.
But if you can handle hanging with the mature, established set, and you go during off-peak hours, you'll have plenty of room to do your yoga and pump some iron without feeling crowded. And hey, the rooftop workout area is pretty sweet, and the cafe has Wi-Fi, so you can pretend to work while you actually just people-watch. All in all, I give the Bay Club on Greenwich gets 4 stars from me.

I really like being a member of the Bay Club but recently, this location has dwindled from the service of the past.
The locker rooms, once cleaned consistently (an integral reason I became a member here instead of other competitor gyms), are pretty filthy with hair in the showers and floors, and broken lockers.
The club is big with a lot of space to move about but you are going to spend a good amount of time trying to find a towel for your workout and wipes for your machine, as they are always out at the stations.
The rooftop workout space is the selling factor to becoming a member - I really love to workout with those views. But recently, all the rooftop machines were non-operational (excuse was the recent rain, ummmm use the tarps sitting nearby?) and when a bunch of us inquired, the person who could push the reset button was out for 4 more days. Pretty ridiculous for the price you pay for this gym. 1 in 9 machines worked for over a week.
Besides this, no one working really knows how to make any guest decisions. Water out at the desk? "Go upstairs to the cafe to see if they have any" (Cafe is closed). There are no towels in the locker room. "Walk around and see if you can find someone in there". There are no cleaning wipes in the room upstairs. "Walk around to the other stations and dismantle the holder. They get stuck." (I don't work here, you do!) My friends and I waste so much time trying to gather the correct equipment to have a safe, good workout its become cumbersome.
Being a member and having access to the facility is great but this location really, truly lacks any sort of work ethic or understanding what their patrons pay for.

If you want to work out in a gym and only do that then there’s probably better gyms in SF but the additional amenities are fantastic and really good value if you use them. Squash, swimming, tennis, basketball, sauna/steam, jacuzzi etc. Worth it if you want everything, not worth it if you’re just looking to lift weights. Not easy to talk to someone in charge but once you get through it’s been good enough communication.

I joined in 2014 and the BC was great. Then it got bought by KKR and they purchased all the competition and now they’re exactly what you would expect from a gym owned by a blood sucking private equity company.

Sick of this business. I've tried to be patient and cannot get anything resolved in over 3 months. Cannot contact anyone about anything. If you call or email you will get an answering machine of a generic email response. Cannot close my account, cannot get answers about billing. These people are snakes

Terrible experience. After they reopened they began to contact us in regards to reestablishing our membership. We agreed to try the gym out to see how the level of cleanliness was being handled due to covid. I went ONCE and a week later my account was charged close to $400. I called and demanded my money back. I spoke to someone who “sympathized” was “going to find out what happened”. Three weeks go by and multiple phone conversations later I look at my account and Bay Club Gateway has charged my account again. This time for over $400! I was livid! I managed to speak to Chelsea, not sure if she was the head of customer relations, but according to her there was nothing they could do about refunding my money. All they told me was they weren’t going to cancel my membership for two months. Apparently the company refuses refunds but gives you the opportunity to continue going to a gym that you want nothing to do with. I am still trying to get my money back. Do NOT waste your time with this company they will find a way to scam hundreds of dollars from your account.

This used to be a great club, now they make the membership increasingly complex, (I was told that I have a couples membership that they still have up on the website), now I am a primary and my partner is a shared member, they send bills to you that are incorrect, and when you try to contact them, you are forced into an email queue that says they will respond in 48 hours and they never do respond, EVER. I actually took a half day to go to the Bay Club in Redwood Shores and James Lent (Senior VP) stated he would take care of my membership request and none of that was done. I was carrying a balance from the Pandemic, (probably should of asked for that money back), and they kept sending me incorrect bills. I have called the office multiple times, Left Mr. Lent a few messages, and have yet to receive any communication except additional bills. I feel bad for the employees as it appears that this business will be a casualty of the pandemic soon, so my 2K initiation membership fees will soon go away with this once very nice club, not sure how this will end.

I’ve been a member for 2 years and would not trade it for anything. The classes are great and staff is top notch. Andres, Edward, Chelsea, David, Raquel, Romina. Has a great energy and they are always maintaining the club. It’s not as new as Equinox, but the culture makes up for it.

Bay Club San Francisco has been a nightmare to deal with since Covid hit. I moved out of SF in March 2020 and have requested cancellation for over a year now, yet I have continued to be charged every month since January 2021 because they completely ignore all of my emails and requests over the phone to cancel. I highly recommend a different gym if you don’t want to pay member services fees even after cancelling. My guess is their business took a hard hit during Covid, and now they are stealing money just to stay afloat. After working with multiple reps getting nowhere, I spoke with a supervisor there named Ray, who has now been ghosting my texts and calls for months. What a joke of an experience. 0 stars would be more appropriate.

We have been members of the Bay Club in Southern California for a very long time! About 15 years. And we love it! San Diego Bay Club is the best!
We are considering traveling more often to San Francisco. So, we visited today, San Francisco Bay club at about 7 am, after booking our spin class the day before. We walked there from our hotel, we were very excited. Once we got there, the guy at the reception area told us, NO! We were not welcome. We told him we were members and we wanted to check it out. And this young guy was so unwelcoming, didn’t even try to help us out , knowing we were visiting from out of town and long time bay club members. It was very disappointing.
We were treated very unkindly to say the least.

Awful customer service. Chelsea is the worst i have experienced at any gyms i have been a member at. They over charge us for a membership that was cancelled in january. Told us we will have a refund a week ago and nothing. They dont respond to our emails either. We have contacted our bank for chargeback and now talking to an attorney regarding this issue. They dont understand there is laws in this country for a reason.
Spend your $$$$ elsewhere

If I could give this place a 0, I would. Someone else has been using my account during COVID, I have not been to the club for over year yet I noticed that there has been charges putting on my account! I have spoken with their regional manager over a month ago and they were supposed to fix this issue. But after several months, they are still allowing this other member to use my account and putting charges on my credit card that's linked to the account!!! This is insane. Do not go to this place, the explanation they had is that they have members that have similar name and that's why this has happened, really???

This camp is fun, yet I’m upset at the fact that they are false advertising. They do not provide lunch for the multi sport children. How are the children here supposed to exercise for 4 hours without any sort of energy or fuel. This is unacceptable and we paid for lunch. I will talk to the manager, don’t waist your money on a camp that false advertises.

Joined this club to play squash. They have nice courts but head pro is the worst I've ever seen. He won't help you in anything and at the end he will tell you that he is there for you. Round-robin is horribly organized. Anyway, management is incapable of realizing it and doing something about it. Lucky for them there is no really competition. But if Equinox or SF Fitness opens squash facility, I'll move instantly.

I played a men's NTRP 3.5 tournament here and even practiced in night lighting and was horrified to see they do not keep their lighting conditions appropriate for tennis. More surprising given this club is located in one of the wealthiest, per square foot, areas in the entire world.
No clue why the USTA allows this type of place to hold tournaments other than the USTA just cares about the money they make over US Open weekend in NYC... and our memberships.
I won't play any tournament here again though. I player on Court 1 where we had "poor grocery" store lighting, or Bodega lighting, where whoever order's the bulbs is too uneducated to know the difference between 32000k lights and 48000k and 56000k, on one side of court 1, the ball just began to appear strobe as it came down to bounce anywhere past the service line.
I have damage to my left eyeball lens, from debris flying around NYC, anyone living in NYC who spent any amount of time walking around 2002-2009 has this issue, according to my nyc optometry friends. Either way, the bottom line is conditions on their indoor courts are absurd and should be found to be not satisfactory for USTA play.
SF has the smartest people in the world, like... take a gerontology class, anyone trying to recover from a stroke would have to end their membership here and find a new plays that won't trigger seizures... that is if SF hospitals don't just let you die if you start stroking, which I have watched almost happen to my mother in LA in 2013. We also have no medical injury claim law in Claifornia, thanks to the genius California population of 1975... look it up... sf hackers would get the point about that old law that has lowered all California's Healthcare quality. Why I will move by age 50... 35 now, but not going back here.

Nice property and location, but considerably overpriced and seemingly poorly managed as of recently. Gym equipment is stale, no available lockers at peak times, degrading service and offering. Club appears now principally focused on profits over being a health club as it had always successfully been.

Been a member here for two years. Lackluster culture and loads of negative energy. Feels dated, smells funky, and seems catered to seniors. Can't imagine they are very profitable.
Terrible music on the weight floor and it's normally playing at volume way too low. Elderly people reading the paper in flip-flops on a weight bench. Staff will clean the mirror right in front of you while you are in the middle of a set. TVs above the mirrors which is awkward and distracting but they refuse to let me turn it off ("it's policy" they say).
Rude/discourteous staff (Darryl always gives me attitude). For over $200/mo you can definitely do better (Equinox) or cheaper (World). I live really close and go late at night so not too bad. Love the basketball court! Pretty terrible overall though.
