As we continue to grow our sports offerings, our South San Francisco location includes two side-by-side buildings encompassing over 90,000 square feet which house twelve tennis courts, a fitness facility, locker rooms, a 1,000 square foot member lounge, and multipurpose areas. This new site has a similar look and feel to our Broadway Tennis location in Burlingame.

Great facilities, nice front desk people. If you can afford the membership, I highly recommend. Tag along a pay as a guest of someone if you need to try it out. But it's a good indoor tennis place for when the weather outside isn't cooperatingA

Toured this location today and it looked fantastic. Plenty of tennis and pickleball courts, lots of programming, a ball machine available, etc. etc. etc. Weston their tennis director was great as was the other guy I met (forgot his name). I won't be joining -- the actual initiation fee is $2500 for the option including all racquet sports, not the $300 I was initially quoted -- but that's not these guys' fault.

They keep changing the hours. The place was packed at 7 AM and then with barely any notice they decided to move the opening hours to 8 AM. All the other bay clubs open at 7 AM because logically you will try and use it before work. Losing the 7-8 AM slot essentially means you can't play before work anymore.

UPDATED 2025: dated and dirty facility, not safe! Lots of locker break-ins, run of the mill gym charging country club pricing. Mgmt changed business model allowing pods of eight to pay as a group making it seems like a ‘discount’. USED TO BE: Conveniently located just below Coit Tower, indoor pool and Cheryl is a fun body pump instructor!

I joined Bay club in April 2023, and since then, the monthly dues have skyrocketed by 50% without any valid reason. The management is completely out of touch with its members' needs and concerns. Despite these outrageous fee hikes, there has been little investment in upgrading or improving the facilities. To add insult to injury, they've introduced court cancellation and late fees to continue harassing members.
The club's management is a total mess. They barely communicate with members and couldn't care less about soliciting feedback to improve the membership experience. It’s been maddening for many of us trying to get basic issues fixed, like ensuring the Bay Club App Court Reservation system accurately shows which courts are open play versus reserved. Simple tasks like these should be handled effortlessly, but here, they're a nightmare.
I advise against joining if you're looking for a consistent and fair membership experience.

Don't join unless you want your monthly fees increased by $20 every 6 months. They force you to pay a crazy initiation fee and they continue to raise your rates without any communication or heads up.
On another note, the staff is very nice at this location. Nothing against them in this review. Management of bay club is just too greedy. It's sad to see many people leaving due to all these price increases.

Came here as a guest of a member friend- a perfectly adequate set of tennis courts (and new pickle ball courts next to tennis court #10). Wish the locker room was more functional- the mens shower stalls were the size of cubicles.

Temporary structure for 5 years while new building at old location. Ok for tennis and fitness. Locker room is small. Few available lockers. No food except vending. Good parking. Bottom line: ok but not like old

Beautiful courts and facilities. Attended a pickleball open play event here, and only complaint is that netting partition separating courts made it impossible to hit balls angling toward the sideline... I would recommend removing some of the partitions during pickleball play.

It's hard to enjoy tennis with a massive diesel generator constantly droning.
It has been days since I wrote this review. The club has not responded.
They still employ a massive C02 spewing diesel generator 24/7 to power their facility.
Is your tennis skills > than global warming? Shut it down. Cancel your membership.

Sadly hat to witness a discriminating incident of two "male identifying" being kicked out for using the male locker/shower room.
"This is a conservation club, so you have to use what conforms with your gender on ID"
As a member I am ashamed to have witnessed this behavior from Ms Golem?, after they apparently even checked about it with the front desk
P.S what are you going to do about non binary IDs?

Great club and staff. Tori Seixas (Membership Director) was wonderful in describing all the great amenities the club offers. I am currently working with one of the tennis pros, Dave Bull, who is fantastic: he's very motivating, great personality, tough but also patient. Great place to work out; something for everyone.

What a nice club! I was here for Acro Yoga, which they graciously allow us to use despite it being a tennis club! Location is close to the freeway, staff is friendly and helpful. They even let us use the amazing sauna and steam facilities! The courts look wonderfully kept

Having the best indoor tennis facility in the Silicon Valley, you truly grow to appreciate it when it is raining for weeks on end. The club staff is very friendly and find them to be very helpful. Like what I find at most Bay Club's in the San Francisco Bay Area the food is lackluster and little choices for the bar menu.

I've only played here as a guest many times and I enjoy the facilities. First, there's a private parking garage. You take the elevators and are immediately greeted by the front desk staff person. The locker room is fantastic: spacious and with all the amenities you need to get ready before and after your match. The courts are clean. It can be loud indoors and outdoors you get a beautiful view of the city. I used to be a Bay Club member and the membership prices are over $100 so if you ply frequently, this might be a good deal, especially if you join a team.
