The food was great I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with garlic fries on side and ice cold beer. Whoa, affordable prices. Kiara was so helpful, friendly amazing service. I would definitely come back when I'm In town. Totally Good vibes overall experience.👍🤩👍

Completely not worth the $95 on the weekend. So many blind spots, course is poorly designed. Between holes 7-9, you have a really high chance of getting pegged by a ball. Extremely slow pace of play and the carts has too many invisible barriers. Any other course in the bay is better than this one.

We recently hosted our company golf tournament at Bay View and it could not have been a better experience. The staff was welcoming, professional and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Kiara and Kelly were so pleasant to have at the bar keeping up with the many drink and food orders. We're so gratefull to the entire team for helping us create a memborable event. I've played most of the public courses in the East Bay, and Bay View Golf Club is an excellent course: Challenging, well-maintained, true fairways, well-kept greens, raked bunkers with depth, very comfortable carts, and workers who are very helpful and friendly. It is a little far for me, but it is worth the trip.

Booked a tee time for four at Bayview and had to cancel last minute — that’s on me and my group. But instead of showing any flexibility, their operations manager Joseph (yes, the guy with the mustache and inflated ego) forced me to pay for the entire reservation. When I tried to reason with him, he was dismissive, rude, and completely inflexible.

It’s amazing how someone in such a low-level role can act like he runs Augusta. Rigid, arrogant, and clearly more focused on squeezing money than building loyal golfers. Most courses I’ve played at are reasonable — offering a credit or reschedule — but Bayview takes the opposite approach.

Great location, but terrible customer service. If you value fair treatment and professionalism, head to Cinnabar, Coyote Creek, or even the local muni courses — all of which actually appreciate their players.

Bay View Golf provided a great experience! Played a twilight round with two other players in under 4 hours. The course was in good condition, and check-in was quick and easy. I’ve been to the range here multiple times, and the automatic ball dispenser is consistently short. A large bucket is supposed to be 84 balls, but I usually get between 70–77. This time I got just 76, and when I told the worker inside, he refused to give me the missing 8 balls. Some staff members in the past have made up the shortfall, but clearly it depends on who’s working. I bought 5 large buckets in total so far and every time I counter, each bucket was short by 7–14 balls. It’s frustrating and unacceptable that they won’t fix the machine or take responsibility for their own error.

Played yesterday and was pretty disappointed, especially for the $95 green fee. The fairways were in rough shape and not maintained well. The bunkers were muddy and looked like they hadn’t been touched in a while. The greens were decent and probably the only part of the course that was in good shape.

It was cart path only, even though it was a sunny day with no recent rain. That made the round slower and more frustrating than it needed to be.

Service was lacking too. From 6 to 10 a.m., there was no one at the bar and no cart person on the course. We couldn’t get any drinks or snacks the entire time.

To top it off, I left the course covered in mosquito bites. For what they’re charging, this course seriously needs better maintenance, better service, and some pest control. Definitely not worth the price.

havent played at this course for over 30 yrs, so it was really my first time in quite a while, didnt know what to expect.
staff was attentive and friendly
for a public course, the conditions are very good, not like the other courses we frequent here in the south bay area. greens are in excellent shape, and the fairways are well kept. as this course is not flat, fairly hilly and challenging, you have to have control or you will lose a lot of balls.
the sand traps have real sand, thats dry and loose, as i only landed in one, but took two shots to get out, as i had to make an adjustment from my
usual shot that i use at the other courses.
as we played on tuesday, there wasnt anyone holding us up or pushing us. i was glad we took a cart, as walking could be difficult.
the only thing i thought was odd was there arent any ball washers.
the restaurant and bar were excellent.
i will be coming back!

The pin placement on #10 yesterday was crazy. Far left, right over the edge of the bunker. No way to get to the pin. Crazy.
Might just be better (fair) to make the pin placement on #12 at the bottom of the green, since the ball rolls down there anyway . .
Windshields on the carts need to be replaced - big time. They're cracked and you can't see through them.
But I'd still rather play here than anywhere else. Great course !!

I can’t begin to thank the entire team at Bay View Golf Club for helping to create a special celebration of life for my father who passed away only a week earlier.

The venue was beautiful and modern. It was both intimate and spacious with at the same time, the kind of ambiance we were looking for. I’m especially grateful to Chef Kreg who created a delicious menu while working with our dietary restrictions and uncertain guest count. They thought of everything: two buffet stations for better flow (and…the food was still hot when the last of our guests got their food) and for being so accommodating with requests by our guests. Special thanks to Jordyn, our bartender and she also took great care of us! There was not a drink she did not know how to make!

We also were able to use the large screen TVs to loop photos of my dad for the duration of the event.

Thank you again Bay View for providing exceptional customer service! It allowed family to focus on connecting and sharing beautiful memories about my father.

EDIT: played this course a second time nearly a year later. Not a Marshall in sight to keep up pace despite the course running a tournament that same day, but that’s typical for public courses. The real reason I’ll never be back is because the golf carts have the worst GPS boundary system I’ve ever seen. The cart randomly locks up with no warning, often on the cart path or in the middle of the fairway. When you do try and go a bit off the fairway to retrieve a ball, the cart will shut down and tell you to reverse, leaving you stranded in weird spots! That plus the 6 hour pace put a real damper on our round.

Overall a pretty fun course. Greens are in good condition.

The main challenge here is how everything is sloped and hilly. Some of the slopes are severe to the point of punishing otherwise great fairway shots, especially punishing golfers who cannot shape their shots to go against the slope (e.g., a slice or fade will roll off some of the left to right fairways due to rollout). Greens are mostly sloped as well, but rolled true. Being a public course, most did not repair their ball marks, it seems.

I would probably not walk this course again, though the pro shop did give me a nice discount not visible when booking online when checking in and declining the cart.

Also, the driving range is a bit odd, being irons only and fully exposed to the course without netting. Short game practice area is decent.

It had been decades since I played at the old Summitpointe. The course is even better than back them. The conditions are nearly perfect, the greens roll true and the pin placements are challenging. It is a great course, one of the better in the immediate San Jose area. The clubhouse is small, but well stocked and the staff is friendly. The driving range is worth the trip alone, equipped with the newest swing technology. Overall a five star experience. High handicappers, hit it straight, you'll see what I mean. Go play here.

The course has great views but not $100 a round great. I can pay a similar price at Cinnabar. I would love to come play here more but the price keeps me away. My family and I attended the RNB Brunch at Bay View Golf Club last Sunday to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and we had the best experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was vibrant and fun, and the staff was nothing short of amazing. A huge shoutout to Phil for organizing our seating arrangements and ensuring our large group of 25+ was accommodated seamlessly. Jordyn provided exceptional service—she was attentive, hospitable, and made sure we had everything we needed. Amazing day on the course today. The fairways were nice and clean to enable and up and downs. However, the greens were extremely fast. The 8th hole stood up to being a 1 hcp. If your ball didn’t land in the right spot on the green, it would roll off. Or if you’re putting and it wasn’t in the right location, it could roll right back to you. Definitely worth coming back.

Scratch Golfer

This was probably the biggest disappointment course I have played in the past 5 years.

I am not from the bay area so was excited to see a slope rated course above 140 (my home course is 143-149 depending on tees)

Pros:
- The QUALITY of the putting surface is good.
- The practice putting green is nice
- Some really greatly designed holes (IMO)
- Decent views at the top

Cons:
- Holes being cut on sides of hills (your ball will reach the lip of the cup and then roll backwards 6-12 feet depending)
- MASSIVELY sloped greens that don't allow for many pin locations (on 3-4 holes)
- On many holes your ball will be resting in the middle of fairway but you will be hitting from the side of a hill at a steep unnecessary angle.

OVERVIEW: It is not a 143 rating because it offers a fair but challengingly layout with proper fast greens. The course is sloped at a 143 due to the wackiness of the land. The greens probably roll at a 10 but are challenging because you are trying to make putts with a pin that is placed on a slope or putting down a mountain.

I guess they did the best they could with the land but not what I was expecting.

Thos course has a uunber of holes which are completely u fair to the golfer. No. 4 is a hillside where everything rolls down near the cart path and this isn't the only hole with this tendancy. My biggest complaint is with no 12, the pitch of the green is such that a ball almost always rolls off. My 10 foot fringe putt missed by a few inches and rolled back off the green leaving a 20 footer. Everyone in my group had to give up the hole. On in 3 and getti g a 10 is absurd and unfair.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bayview Golf Course's restaurant, and I was blown away by the quality of the food. I started with the pork belly, which was cooked to perfection. It was crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. The accompanying French fries were also perfectly golden and crispy.
I couldn't resist trying both the carnitas tacos and the meatball sliders. The carnitas tacos were a revelation. The pork was flavorful and juicy, and the meatball sliders were equally delicious. The lumpia and the onion rings were perfectly crispy and delicious.

Overall, I highly recommend the restaurant at Bayview Golf Course. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Whether you're a golfer or not, this is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal, a beer or a cocktail.

What a wonderful surprise. Looking for a spot to celebrate my Birthday, and this venue host Sunday R&B Brunch. It was perfect for us who like to still eat good food, have some bubbly, and dance to music (from back in the day.) and What? There's a golf club in Milpitas...

So we came to eat, sip, and dance - menu was island style /comfort food - delicious, made with care, and just right to hold all the Mimosa's we had. The servers were happy to be there, so offered service with a smile ~ aiming to please.

Phil the Manager was wonderful to work with to make arrangements so all we had to do was eat, and be merry.

Crowd was friendly and great vibes even if they didn't know us - much respect, and joy in the room. I look forward to joining an event again, and bringing friends who want to eat and dance during the day. DJ's brought the playlists that reminded us of our younger days. Mixed age range of crowd - and by the way, not limited to Girlfriends though event almost suggested it. The Gals there were so nice all around!!

They had a ton of kids show up on Sunday and there were six to a tee time at one point which led to multiple groups being backed up and unable to finish their round. This course gets 2 stars for the actual course. The missing 3 are due to the staff and lack of course management. Had a 2:36 tee time that I was only able to play 11 holes of with a buddy due to poor course management. Extremely busy and backed up 20 minutes on arrival. By the time we played 5 holes we were already 35 minutes behind pace. I called the clubhouse and they said they couldn’t rain check me for 9 holes because I decided to play. Seems like I should start paying for 9 holes and just play however many I’d like after that at this course.

I've played here for many years. Recent ownership has done virtually nothing except raise prices. For the cost, this place is in poor condition. There are more choices in the area that are in far better condition, for comparable or less money. 3 stars may be too high. Bar and restaurant made the extra star. I’ve played Bay View (originally Summitpoint) for more than 20yrs and although I’ve played there few months ago, I was surprised at the improvements in the club house and course condition. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a tough course but the fairways and green were in the best condition ever! Yes you will lose balls if you miss the fairways but I just enjoyed how well manicured the course was. They are expanding the practice area and adding Trackman to be completed soon. Shout out to Mitch, the superintendent, and the course management team. Well done!

There's a lot slopes here in Bay View, need to know how to put down your stance !!!

I do t like the design of the course, Front 9 is more located at the hills that you get to enjoy the view of the Bay, and Back 9 is in the valley that you need to be aware of creeks.

One thing notable is that their design of holes is taking good advantage of the landscape and space, in the way you might find yourself circling around the same spot for different holes

Hole 18 is for sure magnificent, enjoy it.

Splendid track that's easy to get to, close to 680, and reasonable fee. Front nine is already beautiful with bay area view but back nine is truly something else that's beyond its green fees. Greens are as difficult as they get with undulations eyes can't see. Thank heaven the length isn't too long or guests would be here all day. I'd definitely come back again and again. The pro shop and restaurant are under renovation though.

May 18th, 2024 marked our wedding day at Bay View Golf Club. Just like anyone else, in the early planning stages there's a bit of anxiety 😅 however, Phil, our events planner continued to comfort us throughout the process. Our wedding day turned out to be incredibly beautiful.
The ceremony and reception were both on the 10th hole green with a beautiful view overlooking the mini lake with willow trees. Phil arranged a tent set up that allowed a more intimate feel for our guests, the flow from ceremony to reception was organic to say the least.
When Phil tells you to trust him, he means it. Trusting him brings comfort and brings a beautiful gift at the end.

We opted for the Hawaiian BBQ menu to feed our guests. Our friends and family piled their plates high way more than once, even the vegetarians! Our giant pot of white rice was an inspiring hit lol as much of us are Asian and islanders. 🤣
For me it was heartwarming to see everyone enjoying the food without hindrance. Servings just kept flowing from the kitchen! To Chef Craig and his team in the kitchen, my bride and I are grateful to you! Well done sir!❣️

I do not know how this place is getting high reviews recently. The service that we received there was 2 star at best. The shack to get drinks took 10 minutes just to get beverages and that is after waiting 15 minutes for every person in front of you. On top of terrible service a mixed drink costs $15 and a tall can of beer $9. Its almost like we were at a Niners or Sharks game!

Interesting layout. Some greens are so steep the ball doesn't really stop and the roughs are so long balls get lost even though everyone in the 4some saw it land. But, I'd come back. Had a lot of fun. Give it a try. That being said it is not very suitable for beginners.

I checked in at the pro shop and wasn’t acknowledged by the person behind the counter because he was on his cellphone. As a normal person I said hi and was told just give me a second while he finishes whatever he’s doing on his phone. So I waited patiently and finally got some help with a hint of attitude. I asked for a medium bucket of range balls and was given the normal price for it so I asked for the members rate and was told that next time I should mention that I’m a member. That is just some poor customer service especially for members.

I thought this course had a fun layout. Not super difficult, but the tees, fairways, and greens were all really nice. The course was cart path only and pretty soggy. I’m not from around here, so I’m not sure how much rain had fallen, or if this place is just always wet. The views were really nice up in the hills. The rate was defiantly worth playing at $50 for 18/cart. I’d play this again when I’m back in the area. Worth playing.

We had a blast celebrating my daughter’s birthday at BVGC. Our party of 14 had Sunday brunch at the restaurant. Our server Ashley was quite courteous and welcoming. And Chef Kreg prepared tasty & visually pleasing small plates, breakfast & lunch dishes. Our favorites were the pork belly, lumpia, breakfast burrito, and fish & chips. And the churros con chocolaté and ubé bread pudding desserts were amazing. We also had fun hitting balls at the driving range. We had a great time and we look forward to returning!

We recently had our son’s birthday party at The Restaurant at Bay View Golf Club and it exceeded our expectations! Phil, the events manager, was very accommodating, easy to work/communicate with, and ensured our party turned out wonderful!

Huge shoutout to Chef Kreg for cooking up the delicious Hawaiian BBQ set! We got so many compliments from our guests at how yummy all the food was. Shrimp was perfectly crispy and mac salad was on point! Chef Kreg was awesome to work/collaborate with. Food came out promptly as agreed upon. We also added their scrumptious churros last minute.

Our server Ashley was great! We appreciated her attention to detail and how friendly she was throughout our whole party.

Our party had a beautiful view from the covered deck overlooking golf course + pond. We will definitely consider The Restaurant at Bay View again for special occasions and will happily recommend to friends & family! We enjoyed it so much that some of our friends & I returned the following weekend for their RnB Brunch which also deserves 5 star for Chef Kreg's cooking, DJ's bumpin beats, and the constant flow of their bottomless mimosas!

Had a recent visit and was greeted by a gentleman named Robert Bittle I believe. We briefly had a conversation about golf and how hard Bayview is which is the main reason why I play at least once a month. It’s difficult but challenging every time. Robert was very accommodating, exuded a positive attitude and had a genuine smile which made my experience that day quite memorable. My honest opinion, Robert should be the face of Bayview. A friend and I celebrated our birthdays here with their R&B brunch. Phil was super accommodating to how much people we had and tickets we had reserved.
Amanda, Ashely, and Christina were our servers and they kept the drinks coming! The food was delicious (by Chef Kreg)- I had their egg Benedict and previously have had this Loco Moco. Their Ube Cinnamon Roll was also very good.

My husband is part of the players club here and told me about the RnB Brunch. We had so much fun and friend and I decided to celebrate our birthdays here. We were a big party so we had 2 servers, Amanda and Christina. They were awesome! Highly attentive, and even though there were some mix ups with the ordering, we got it all squared away with a smile! The food is amazing, the layout was great. Phil was such a good person to work with, getting our party sorted out with tables (we had 4). Jake, our coach, did a wonderful job today. He taught the beginner lesson to my family members and explained the techniques with details. His teaching was funny but memorable and he had great demo on each swing from the beginning I-hold to the L-shape swing. My kids learned a lot today. I have been to Bay View about 5 or 6 times and really enjoy the challenge of the course layout. Of course the putting is very punishing on some holes but it's always a blessing to be out playing golf.

The GPS on the carts are not impossible to understand. You have to make some adjustments in your playstyle but the boundaries the carts are set to be within are clear.

The food is also pretty solid at Bay View. I like that you can order from the carts straight to the kitchen (not sure if that's still a thing but it was last time I went).

The staff I've come across have all been great. Ian at the proshop was very welcoming and professional but also super personable and chill. He knows what's going on at the course and really does his best to help/take care of you in the brief time you spend with him. He's a great face to have at Bay View and unfortunately I don't know anyone else there but much appreciation to the grounds keeping team and janitorial team. I have a lot of gratitude and respect for those who work golf courses.

The worst part frankly is pace of play here. The last time I came, it unfortunately took ~3 hours to play 6 holes and of course I could not finish all 18 that day...

This is specifically for whoever is making decisions at Bay View: please have a starter or something on the 1st tee and/or limit how many balls people can tee off. I've seen first hand on multiple occasions where foursomes are taking like 8+ tee shots as a group on the first hole and it takes them 30+ minutes to finish.

5 stars because I like the course, the effort from the staff and have learned a lot about my golf game from playing here.

Came here twice in one month - once for a private birthday party and the second for the Sunday R&B brunch - and I am so impressed with this place!! The food was absolutely exceptional - shout out to Executive Chef Kreg for curating a wholesome and high quality delicious menu. I loved everything I ordered. We had the Hawaiian set for the private party and everyone raved about the food. For dessert, the ube bread pudding was phenomenal and unique. I haven’t had anything like it. I have golfed at Bay View three times now. The slopoes are challenging. The most annoying thing about the course is the carts. Without any warning signs it will shut down and make loud noises. I would suggest either removing some of the GPS restrictions or posting the limitations on the course somehow.

Played the course after not playing there since it was Summit. Course has come along way. The staff was great !. Course is extremely challenging and a great place to practice above or below your feet shots. Make sure you play the slopes. You can hit dead center of fairway and end up OB. Overall great experience just wish they would lower there prices. I dont feel like its worth the 100$ . I think 75$ would be a fair price for weekend rate.

Terrible experience yesterday. Booked a morning tee time to enjoy a nice introduction to bay area courses for a friend visiting from out of town considering moving to the bay area. When we arrived for our tee time, a tournament was ongoing from front 9, so we were forced to start at the back 9. When we got to hole 10 to start, 30 min wait behind 4 groups before we could even tee off. We were all surprised and I had to reassure my friend this was not the norm. We played with constant pressure from the group behind while waiting for the group in front. Also, to make matters even worse, when we got to hole 1 to begin the front 9, a new junior tournament was starting and was forced to skip hole 1 and now it was pressure from fast moving junior players that effected our play pace. All in all, no matter the how the course itself is, having two different tournaments and squeezing people in between is a poor management. It was a bad reflection of what to expect for a friend considering moving to the area and I feel that it was not worth the time or cost involved.

Bayview formally summit point is like a stiff drink. You either love it, or you don't. The slopes of the fairways and the approaches at every witch angle puts your skills to the test to have a great round or go to the bar and purchase that other stiff drink disgusted by your play. Weekdays or always easy to find a same day tee time and weekends although a little pricey is still one of the only courses not to be over filled with the weekend warriors to where you can still find a tee time that day. Truthfully speaking this place is great. Staff is fantastic, and course is kept up nicely for the end of summer headng into fall. You people can love or hate this place. I in fact, love it! I am glad people are sleeping on this course!. I will see you Thursday like I always do!

I had fun with the challenging hilly terrain! It is a nicely kept course. The grass range is alright, you can’t use a driver.

Also you can indeed View the Bay and get some stunning pictures.

Could just be the crowd on a Saturday but the pace of play was absolutely atrocious.

The CARTS though… totally killed my vibe. They are Geofenced (GOS tracked) and very restrictive. If you go out of the assigned range (which is sometimes in the middle of the fairway 😭) the cart locks up and you need to reverse back.

I get it, maybe some goofballs messed up a cart going up and down the hills but this is just too much. As long as the carts are geofenced, I’m not coming back, not worth the price!! Just makes it feel like the club doesn’t trust you!

Went to this last Sunday’s special event “R&B Brunch”. If you grew up in the 90s, like to brunch with your friends, and want to be home before dark… then this is for you!

For 2 hours, you can dance in your seat while you eat, or on the dance floor to the jams that make you reminisce of the “good old days”

Music: as mentioned, so good! DJ was on point. It was a little loud (hey, I’m old) which made it just a tad hard to hold a conversation with your friends or hear the wait staff. But music and laughter made the day even more memorable

Food: ordered from their R&B brunch menu. Went with the salmon Benedict which was decent. The hollandaise sauce could have been a little thicker. The salad it came with was pretty good. One ordered the French toast and had to send it back after one bite. Said it was too mushy in the middle and honestly did not look appetizing. Sent it back and ordered a Benedict instead. Everyone else said their food was ok with the loco moco and smoked salmon bagel. We also ordered the churros and they were meh. They were too hot when they arrived and were a bit too hard when they cooled down.

Drinks: bottomless mimosas or bellini’s made for the best time.

Service: this is where the most improvements can be made. The servers were super nice. I’m sure through no fault of their own, there was some disconnect somewhere. First it took awhile for them to take our orders. The food took a little long to come out. There were 6 of us. When the food did arrive, only 4 plates came out at once. We waited for the other 2. Waited and waited some more. Asked different servers at different times when we can expect the other 2 plates. Our friends said to go ahead to start without them and by then, our food had cooled down. Also, it took time to get water and even longer for our friend to get her drink that did not go with the bottomless option.
Our server did apologize and we understood as it can happen at a busy time. Just hope this improves which would make this event flawless.

Atmosphere: plenty of room and plenty of space. However, it was really hot inside. Bringing a fan with me for next time.

All in all, we had so much fun! We met and chatted with the manager Phil. He’s so nice which made the experience even better.

I’ve been to another R&B brunch at another restaurant and this one I had a lot more fun at. We’re already making plans to come to the next one! Can’t recommended this enough!

The course is in a better shape than last year. The layout of the course is still a great challenge (especially hole #8). The fairway in general is in a good shape (except the hole #4 - par 3). The greens are much slower - not sure if something was done with them. Need some work on the tee-boxes - many of them are not leveled. The August Tuesday and Wednesday specials (<$40 per person with cart) are excellent deals for this course in the Bay Area. I will definitely take advantages of the specials and play in the course again.

The course is scenic and the greens and fairways look much better under the new management. I was a bit puzzled at why the tee box for the 4th hole is near the greens for the 3 hole, though. The pen is literally 100 to 200 feet away from gold and silver for the 4th hole tee box, which seem rather unsafe. Also, I had boycotted playing at Bayview due to an altercation I had with an employee of Bayview. Last Summer I had booked my tee time on the same day the Milpitas Police had a tournament. No mention of a tournament was provided when I booked my tee time online, either. In observation of the tournament the kid at the pro shop had me start on the back 9 to avoid interfering with the tournament when it started. I had played most of the holes on the back 9 when I hit a solid drive on the17th hole and the kid from the pro shop in a cart told me I needed to pick up my ball to clear the hole for the tournament. No players had arrived yet for the tournament and I wanted to continue my play on the 17th as I had a great drive in the middle of the fairway. The pro shop employee literally drove his cart over my ball on the fairway to prevent me from hitting my ball. We had several words but if he allowed me to play through I would have been off the 17th and joined whatever party he requested I join. Instead we argued which seemed to be escalating to a physical altercation. In any case, I haven't returned to play Bayview until this past Monday. I enjoy playing Bayview because it is close to my home and I enjoy the course very much. I wanted to share this experience to hopefully bring awareness to how the course management can adversely affect players enjoyment of playing golf at Bayview.

Bayview is a challenging course and in so, so condition. There is no water, on the course and no ball washers on the course, and, the 10th tee always gets backed up becuase the cafe is sooooooo slow. The greens were in better than usual condition, however, people do not repair their ball marks. It would be great if all courses requeste everyone repair thier ball mark plus one on every green...ask the guests for their help keeping the greens prestine. Overall they have done a great job bringing the course back after the winter storms.

Bay view is the best place for special events like parties.We were here last month April 29, 2023 for our Knights of Columbus Ladies Luncheon Hawaiian Theme Party and it was a successful event. Everyone were happy and satisfied for the place, most especially the food and their service were excellent. We would like to give our sincere thanks and appreciation for all the Bay view staff and special mention to Mr. Phil Santamaria for being so nice to us. He and his staff did their best to accommodate us to make our event enjoyable and memorable. Great job Bay view and we will definitely be back in our future events. Thank you so much and God Bless!

Here’s my two part review:

First off - Since changing to Bay View, I have nothing but GREAT things to say about it. All though I haven’t golfed the course, I started private lessons to help me understand the game. Sean is an amazing instructor as well!

Secondly, my dad recently passed away and we were trying to find a venue that can accommodate 100+ people for a reception. Bay View happened to be available and they were so great at getting everything set up exactly to our liking. Phil and his staff were so accommodating, it felt like they were family. The venue is beautiful and a hidden gem for those not familiar with the Milpitas area.

I plan on having brunch and and taking my clubs out to the driving range more often! I highly recommend this place!

I was there for a private event at their restaurant. It was my first time visiting. The service was great. The food was amazing. The decoration was nice. Everything made the event at the Bay View Golf Club truly a unforgettable experience.

Played at Bay View this past week. Overall course maintenance was not up to par and the pace was really slow due to bunched up tee times. Some greens were bumpy, some were cut recently some were not. Also, instead of rough there were uncut wild flowers in which it was easy to lose golf balls just a couple yards off the fairway. They also don't enforce groups losing their spot if they stop for a long lunch after nine holes. We had a group cut in front of us on the 10th tee.

Overall - a wonderful and sometimes very charismatic. One windy day, no matter how many times you hammered the ball, the wind (no rain) would push the ball any way the course wanted.

One issue - the gps enabled carts - WAY TOO tight. I am submitting a picture where the cart is approx 15 feet off the cart path and locked up....? management - you know the lines for each hole - at least allow for us to get to the edges of the fair way? I get the winter weather thing - it's 90% over.

Dinner tonight at the recently renovated Bay View Golf Club in Milpitas! Great food, good company, new menu, new management, excellent fish & chips, great service, fancy chandeliers, fire pits, covered patio, churros, (yes churros!), and a VIP table waiting just for you! We’ve always loved it up here but seemed like the restaurant was just a convenient spot for the golfers to grab a bite instead of making it a place that Milpitas residents want to dine! So glad to see that it is finally getting the attention it deserves! We will definitely be back!

The last memory of this place was the memory of being pushed to the point where it was difficult to proceed with the game because of the too short tee time interval.
Today, a friend made a reservation, so I visited again after a long time, but the cart kept crashing, so I couldn't proceed with the game. Despite being clearly on the road, warnings kept popping up and we had no choice but to give up in the middle. There were even two holes in the middle where the tee boxes were not properly marked.
When we complained, they gave us a half-price discount coupon instead of a refund. But I guess I won't be using it.

We rented out the club house and bar for a retirement party and it was by far a fantastic choice. The facility and the views were spacious and beautiful. The food was superior and the staff was very professional and accommodating. All our guest kept telling us what a great place it was.

I threw a party of 75 guests for my wife’s 50th and my daughter’s 21st birthdays at the Restaurant at Bay View Golf Club last week and it was a GREAT experience! Everyone on the Bay View Resturant staff: management, chef, wait staff and bartenders were awesome in making sure our guest had a great time!
Management was accommodating and helpful in putting together a Spanish themed party. They helped me with the decorations, music, photo booth, food and drink. It was a low stress experience!
Our guest raved about food! Chef put together a tasty tapas menu of potatoes brava, garlic shrimp (Gambias), calamari, lechon, paella, sardines on baguette and croquettes. For dessert, the churros with chocolate dip was a big hit! A lot of guests went back for seconds.
The wait staff were welcoming and great with their food suggestions and helping guests take pictures.
The bartenders helped with drink suggestions and make a nice chocolate martini! You guys have to try it.
Overall, it was an awesome experience for my guest and family! I would definitely have another party there!

Met up with friends for lunch at the restaurant. What a big change! Hadn’t been here in a while and it’s night and day. Great views from the patio deck - but it was a bit cold so we headed inside after our cocktails. The food was terrific! Bulgogi tacos are delicious. And the CHURROS!!!! It was great to rediscover this gem. Super friendly service. It is now called Bay View and it’s a totally new experience. Definitely recommend!

I recently played at Bay View Golf Club and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The course is well kept and in excellent condition, making for a challenging and enjoyable round of golf. The greens were especially challenging with some of the hardest putts I have ever encountered, but it added an extra level of excitement to the game. I find the course both challenging (especially the greens) and very fun. But lately what I really enjoy is the food - so far I've tried the different tacos (Pollo Asado is my favorite) and the pulled pork sandwhich - which is awesome! I will keep exploring... I had the pleasure of playing in a charity event at Bay View recently which was a scramble tournament with a lunch event after. I’ve played this course a bunch of times in my life, but never has it played as well it did for this event. Management has definitely spent some money on bettering the course and from the looks of it, they aren’t done yet.

For lunch I had the pork belly bites and the Reuben and them little pork belly bites are so damn good. No joke, I literally went to the restaurant last week just for and ordered them to go. Lol. The staff were nice, Karla, Greta and Sandi were super funny and helped keep things fun and enjoyable for all guests. Service with a smile is always more enjoyable. I’m jelly that they have daily access to them lil pork belly bites…lol.

My golf organization had our tournament at Bay View and we were treated well by the Pro shop team. All details were covered and our group had a great time. Challenging course but the Bay View Team made sure the tee boxes were set up to accommodate our players at all levels! They have added brand new front tees which helped for beginner and female players. Good to see a course where they are investing to make it more playable and fun for all.

Happy to say that I returned just a few days ago, to see even more improvements! The restaurant has a new staffs and a new menu. The new Tacos and Fish and Chips were awesome and service was great. Looking forward to more visits to Bay View.

I was recently placed in charge of a company event, and was given a recommendation to use Bay View Golf Club as a venue for our White Elephant and Christmas Lunch/Dinner. Leading up to the event the coordinator (Karla Arias) was in constant communication and ensured I had everything I needed prior to the day of the event. Upon arrival the food was nearly done being prepared and each of our guests got their meals in a timely manner. The day of the event Karla was also following up and making sure everything was going as planned. This venue met and exceeded our expectations for an event that held around 40 people. The food was great and there was a good ambiance with the Christmas music they were able to play in the background. I would highly recommend this venue in the future, and this probably will not be the last time we schedule an event with them. Thanks again to Karla and the rest of the staff for a great evening!

Bay view is my home course, every time I play here I enjoy it! It is a difficult hill course, great green condition and fantastic mountain view over there! I also take private lessons with bay view professional golf coach, they have trackman room for us to track our swing, it is easy to see what we need to fix our swing.

Course was muddy due to recent rain, but in some areas it wasn't the rain but the irrigation. There was no markings to show walkers where to proceed to the next tee box. Most of the tee boxes were mainly sand. There were some fun holes but many were blind shots not knowing there was a hazard in play. The restaurant however was pretty damn good.

This is very nice course. My kids coaches are extremely nice and experienced. My kids loved it.
I also practice there a lot in the driving range. Manager and staff are extremely supportive and friendly.

I had golfed here prior to covid and the course used to be in rough shape. Ever since I have been back the greens seem to be flourishing, and the course looks stunning. The fairways and bunkers always seem to be maintained well and I had a geat time playing here.

This review is for individual lessons with Ian. Ian’s kind and knowledgeable feedback has really helped improve my game. He helps point things out that I can’t see or don’t know to look for and then I can practice those skills when I go to the driving range. I’m so glad I took lessons with Ian when I first picked up the game this year. The best investment I’ve made in my golf game!

I don't play here often because even pretty good shots can be penalized. But since I last played, they have eased a couple of holes. Maintenance was good and the new carts are upscale, although I had a lot of trouble figuring out where the GPS Fences were. The adobo pulled pork sandwich was excellent.
