I’m thrilled to have found this gem of a gym. I love the personalized workouts and the help given to make sure it’s carried out correctly and safely. I love the fact that the gym space is limited to a small number of people at a time, and I’m a huge fan of the accountability and commitment required. They are flexible and accommodating as far as my schedule is concerned, but they also care very much that I show up and get my workout in. This gym feels like home to me. I absolutely love and look forward to my workouts now due to the environment of encouragement and teamwork that Matt and Morgan provide. It’s hard to put a price on that! I highly recommend this gym. We absolutely love Be Jolly! The coaches are energetic, patient, and really know how to make fitness fun. The activities are perfectly designed for different age groups from obstacle courses and balance games to tumbling and mini challenges that build confidence.
Our child looks forward to every class and has grown so much in strength, coordination, and social skills. The gym is always clean, safe, and full of smiles. It’s a great way for kids to burn off energy, make new friends, and develop healthy habits early on.

I’ve been a member of Be Jolly Performance for about three months, and I’m genuinely impressed. The facility is clean and very well-organized. The environment feels motivating but not intimidating, which is hard to find.
Training with Morgan in the semi-private sessions has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my fitness. The sessions are small enough to receive personal attention but also have the energy of a group. Morgan is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, friendly and great at adjusting exercises to my level while still pushing me. I’ve seen real progress in health, strength and confidence. After a short chit chat with Morgan, I knew that BJP was the perfect fit for me! Both Morgan and Matt are positive, caring, have great senses of humor, but remain very serious with my training program. I have had a lot of physical setbacks in my time - but, nothing seemed too difficult to overcome with Morgan's very encouraging, but tough training schedule. My personal goal was to strictly gain more strength, balance and confidence in just being able to 'walk' well. I am pleased to say, that after 16 weeks, I am walking with more balance, my posture has improved, strength is retuning to my core, my mind is sharper and I am sleeping better! As a bonus, my BP has dropped 20 points and my body weight has gone down, 10#s. I have felt very safe here, even while being in the most vulnerable stage of my life. I am so glad that I found BJP!!!

My experience at Be Jolly is so positive! I was hesitant at first because while I do Pilates, I have never before been a member of a gym or used heavy weights. I quickly became comfortable! Owner/trainers Matt and Morgan are professional, friendly, helpful and encouraging. Morgan has been my main trainer and is clear in her instruction and creates progressively challenging workouts, while making sure I don't over-strain. I love how she follows up after workouts to see how I'm feeling. I also appreciate the small class size allowing for personalized attention. My kids have been attending here for 6 months in the evening athlete classes and they LOVE it. They have made serious improvements in their other sports as a result of these classes - they are starting to excel in tennis and other activities, where as before this class it felt like they had plateaued. After the holidays I was feeling pretty run down, started looking for a gym with personal and group training after trying a few that didn’t really click around south OC, and found Be Jolly because of their great reviews. Now I’ve been going for three months training twice a week and haven’t missed a single session. I am noticeably stronger, have more endurance when I’m out being active, and my girlfriend keeps mentioning she’s seeing changes. This is an amazing fitness studio for adults and kids! Two of my boys (6 and 8) have been coming twice a week for many months, and are learning the value of fitness, getting great exercise, and having fun. Whenever I go on a long vacation I like to hit at least one workout to maintain my fitness goals. I was in the Dana Point area and wanted to find an atmosphere that reflects the type workout I like to do. I've never been a fan of big box gyms, as the workouts they provide are usually weak and impersonal. Run by both former athletes, the workout was excellent and the environment is top notch. I was very appreciative to Matt and Morgan for fitting me into a class.

I'm a soccer player, and an all around athletic, healthy, person. I got a pretty serious knee injury in 2022 so in part of my recovery I came across Morgan and Matt. I'm grateful for my knee injury now because it took my on a journey on how to get back stronger, and that is exactly what Matt and Morgan helped me with. My boys are not team sport players, so it has been hard to find an activity that will get them moving, challenge them and teach them new skills. We have tried a lot of different activities that just never got them fully engaged. So I looked for just that… I search for agility training and Be Jolly Performance popped up. I was hesitant at first because it seemed like the training was just for athletes, however, owner, Matt Jolly, contacted me immediately after I sent my inquiry and invited us to his gym. Matt, Morgan, and Nathan are AMAZING! My daughter now goes 5 days a week because she loves it so much. They do a different circuit/training plan everyday so it’s not boring. They are so encouraging and positive for the kids. They are young so the teenagers think they are “cool” and listen. They laugh and meet peers from different schools in the workout. All while leading a healthy lifestyle. The trainers are so knowledgeable and PATIENT!

I love starting my day at Be Jolly! I need the encouragement that Matt and Morgan offer during their training sessions. I am so much stronger and have so much more mobility than when I started. Matt makes specialized workout programs that enable me to workout safely without adding more pain from my prior scoliosis. Matt works with his clients to create programs and support what they need to be successful. Plus his dogs are so cute and they’re usually at the gym!

I have been working with Morgan for about 6 months, a combination of personal training sessions and small group classes (which are really more like semi-private sessions because they’re so small and personalized). I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience, but most importantly are my results. I’ve lost 20 pounds in addition to dropping 9% bodyfat and lowering my BMI significantly. I have extensive experience with personal trainers, and Morgan has been the best by far. I’ve invited friends to join in the classes as well and they’re all having a similar positive experience. She is so sweet and works so hard to make my experience extremely custom. She pays close attention to my form and incorporates special exercises to help with strengthening specific areas. I highly recommend!

I had the chance to stay in San Clemente for close to 6 weeks and had the best time training with Be Jolly. Both Morgan and Matt are not only super knowledgeable but also incredibly welcoming to all different levels of fitness.
I’m an avid exerciser so when I did personal training with Morgan, she was able to cater to my needs to push harder and come up with programming that both included mobility and strength. Highly recommend for anyone living in the San Clemente/Dana Point area.
You won’t find this quality anywhere else where you can have quality one on one training sessions with friendly, laid-back, knowledgeable trainers.

My 14 year old son plays volleyball and was referred to Be Jolly Performance by his teammate to help work on strength training. Matt has been AWESOME with my son, he does a fantastic job of keeping the workouts fun, moves at a good pace, while teaching my son all sorts of new exercises and proper form. My son leaves each session super sweaty and spent, but with a smile on his face, which is exactly what I was hoping for! I trained with Morgan for two months, three times a week while staying in San Clemente, and she got me in the best shape I've ever been in! Previously, I had been doing CrossFit 2-3 times a week, which is a good workout. But with the personalized, 1-on-1 training sessions, I feel like I was getting a more overall, comprehensive workout with less wasted energy. I still felt like I was being pushed, but with more specificity, knowledge, and focus on form. Plus, she is so sweet and patient, and makes it easy to want to come work out! I’ve been going to Be Jolly Performance for about 6 months now and I’ve really liked it. I’ve learned how to stretch properly which I never experienced with other lifting coaches and this has helped prevent an injury. He has also taught me proper form on everything which has definitely prevented me from an injury. I have also learned to listen to my body and not ego lift, which has also helped me from getting injured. Overall it’s a great workout and an extremely positive environment!

I signed up for the online training program a few months ago and I couldn't be happier! I signed up with Matt to built strength and muscle. His workout programs are enjoyable, challenging, and show real results! I have built lean muscle and have improved lifting strength by at least 50 percent. Ive been going to Be Jolly Performance since November, I am a Senior in High school and I play baseball. It is an awesome gym and I love the personal training you’re able to get, the trainers ask what you would like to work on or whats your goal and set up a 3-4 day schedule of lifting to push you towards that goal. Ever since I started going here I feel it has helped me a lot in my sport in becoming more athletic and also gaining muscle. Excellent private training session. Started with a warm up period, did several blocks of weight training for my full body workout. It felt challenging but great. Finished with very helpful stretches.
